Abstract
19 Abstract A hanging strap (10) including a strap body (12) and coupling portions (14) at one or both ends (15) of the strap body (12) is disclosed. Examples of the strap body (12) may be substantially formed of a woven material (22) which includes conductive fibres (40) interwoven with flame-retardant yarns (42) such that the strap body (12) is continuously conductive between the coupling portions (14). The conductive fibres (40) may comprise metal fibres or other conducive fibres. A method of manufacturing a hanging strap is also disclosed.
