Abstract The present utility model provides a current collector plate for a battery cell, comprising: a first electrical connection portion that is capable of being electrically connected directly to an end portion of an 5 electrode assembly of the battery cell, the end portion of the electrode assembly being located on a first side of the current collector plate; and a second electrical connection portion that is located on a radially outer side of the first electrical connection portion and is substantially parallel to the first electrical connection portion, wherein the second electrical 10 connection portion is capable of being electrically connected directly to a terminal of the battery cell, and the terminal of the battery cell is located on a second side of the current collector plate opposite the first side; wherein a through slot is formed in the first electrical connection portion; and wherein the second electrical connection portion protrudes toward 15 the second side of the current collector plate relative to the first electrical connection portion. A battery cell comprising the current collector plate described above is also provided. The current collector plate and the battery cell of the present utility model are simple and compact, easy to assemble, and highly reliable, making them less susceptible to poor 20 contact and so on.
