Abstract

Abstract: A cleaning device for an espresso machine group head, the group head having a portafilter recess surrounding a shower screen and the device comprising: a hand-operated flow generator comprising a cleaning liquid reservoir; a connection portion in fluid communication with the flow generator via a liquid passage, the connection portion being detachably connectable with the group head and configured for the portafilter recess to be substantially unoccupied during connection of the device with the group head; wherein hand-operation of the flow generator generates a flow of cleaning liquid from the liquid reservoir to clean the shower screen and the portafilter recess.
