Abstract

Abstract Systems and methods are provided for operating an electronic gaming machine to control a wheel-based bonus feature having multiple bonus levels. In response to a trigger event, game- logic circuitry initiates a bonus session, presents a wheel interface including multiplier outcomes, upgrade outcomes, and cash outcomes, and repeatedly determines wheel outcomes using a random number generator. Multiplier outcomes add to a global multiplier meter subject to a cap, upgrade outcomes set an upgrade condition, and a cash outcome ends a bonus level and causes an award based on a cash value modified by the global multiplier meter. If the upgrade condition is set, the circuitry automatically initiates a subsequent bonus level after ending the bonus level, including resetting one or more meters for the subsequent bonus level.
