This invention relates to a removable magnetic locating system and method for accurately identifying the position of a concealed electrical Flush Box and defining the required cut-out location following installation of plasterboard or similar wall-covering materials. The invention addresses a common construction and electrical installation problem whereby Flush Boxes become concealed behind finished wall surfaces, often resulting in inaccurate cut-outs, rework, project delays, increased labour costs, and material waste.
