Abstract

The invention relates to the field of petrochemicals, in particular to the production of cyclic diols, which are products of the oxidation of cyclohexene, methylcyclohexene and vinylcyclohexene with hydrogen peroxide in the liquid phase. According to the invention, in the method for obtaining C6-C8 alicyclic diols with cyclohexene fragments, which consists in oxidizing C6-C8 cycloolefins in acetic acid medium with 30% hydrogen peroxide in a ratio of 1:1.5-2 mol, respectively, at a temperature of 50-55°C in the presence of a Me-containing catalytic system, the oxidation is carried out for 4-8 hours, in an amount of 1-5 wt.%, containing the rare earth element Nd and zirconium oxide, the formula: They are synthesized in the presence of a polyoxophosphoromybdate catalytic system containing Nd [PMo12O40]-ZrO2.
