Abstract

The invention relates to the field of construction of buildings and structures in sinking loess soils. The invention is aimed at creating the possibility of using the hydroexplosion compaction method in built-up areas, as well as increasing the effectiveness of soil compaction. The method of compacting loess subsidence soils in areas bordering existing construction by deep hydroblasting combines the digging of contour trenches 5-7 m deep, the digging of drainage-explosive wells, the placement of explosives at the bottom of the wells, wetting the subsidence massif from the drainage-explosive wells to a state of fluid consistency, and the compaction of the soil by explosive means. Before the massif is wetted, wells are dug at equal intervals from the bottom of the contoured trenches to the end of the submerged massif, and the soil is burned with these wells, starting from their bottom and extending to their entire height, until the burning zones intersect.
