Abstract
A flexible electrical insulating fabric with vertical features is provided. The fabric (1) includes a liquid-impermeable hard surface layer (11), a porous foam core layer (14) provided with features of vertically raised portions (12) and vertically depressed portions (13), and a porous fiber core layer (15). A longer electrical pathway (2) is formed transversely on a surface of the fabric (1) by the features of the vertically raised portions (12) and the vertically depressed portions (13) so as to reduce electrical conductance. Compared with a surface length of the fabric (1), a length of the electrical pathway (2) is increased due to creation of the three-dimensional vertically raised features and vertically depressed features. At the same time, a risk of death caused by electric current flowing through conduction paths is reduced. Thereby the flexible electrical-insulating fabric is more practical and convenient to use.
