Description

BE2025 / 5073 2 the inclination of the neck is adjustable, and the lateral positioning of the instrument relative to the musician's body in function of the desired ergonomic angles of the arm, elbow and wrist. In addition, flexibility is also required in the frontal positioning so that the neck of the instrument can be positioned close to or far from the user's body. If the carrying system is used for non-5 instruments, this provides similar benefits with regard to weight distribution over both shoulders, and position which can be adapted to the situation. Adjusting the position of a touching side of the shoulders offers, for example but not exclusively, greater stability and comfort during activities where the body is not upright; for example, while cycling.10 One or more objectives of the invention can be achieved with a carrying system for supporting a musical instrument, in particular a string instrument such as a guitar or a bass guitar,or another instrument in which the instrument is handled in a similar position, such as but not exclusively mandolin, banjo, ukulele; or another object such as a bag or one or more cameras, where the carrying system comprises: -a first end comprising at least one first object attachment (see illustration 1 in figure 1) configured to be attached to the musical instrument in a first area, e.g. to a main body and / or soundbox of the musical instrument or to a bag or other object, 20 -a second end comprising a second object attachment (see illustration 2 in figure 1) configured to be attached to the musical instrument in a second area, where the second area is opposite ends of the first area of the musical instrument, where the second area is e.g. an opposite end of the main body or soundbox, on the opposite side of a 25 object such as a bag, or for example a second camera when a first camera can be attached to the first end,-a band construction extending between the first end and the second end, whereby the band construction comprises at least: i.a back section (see illustration 3 in Figure 1) configured to be located, during use, at least partially on the rear side, e.g. on a back, of a user, and to extend along the rear side towards the first end, and optionally comprises the first end; 2025 / 5073 BE2025 / 5073 3 ii.a chest section (see illustration 4 in Figure 1) configured to be located, during use, on the front side, e.g. on a chest, of the user, whereby the chest section comprises the second end; iii. a shoulder section (see illustration 5 in Figure 1) located between the back section and chest section, where the shoulder section is configured to extend, during use, 5 over the shoulders of the user from the front to the back, where the shoulder section comprises a first shoulder strap and a second shoulder strap, where during use the first shoulder strap over a first shoulder, e.g. a left shoulder,is located on the user's shoulder; and the second shoulder strap is located over a second shoulder, e.g., the right shoulder of the user.10 The carrying system is worn over both shoulders, whereby the attachment is made via holes in the main belt buckles of the instrument, or via another attachment such as, for example but not exclusively, a hook attachment, in case another object such as a bag is carried. The advantage of this is the weight distribution over both shoulders, the use of which provides the tone stability.15 Due to the weight distribution over both shoulders, this method offers the advantage of symmetrical distribution whereby the back, shoulders, and neck are spared from extra weight on the body on one side. This offers comfort, avoids pain or possible injuries, the carrying strap remains in position better, and tone stability is also improved.20 In execution forms, the carrying system according to conclusion1, whereby the first shoulder strap comprises a first widened band (see illustration 6 in figure 1), and the second shoulder strap comprises a second widened band (see illustration 7 in figure 1),where the first widened strap is longer than the second widened strap, where the first widened side is configured to extend during use over the shoulder located furthest away from the first end. The carrying system is characterized by 2 straps, where the strap is widened at shoulder height. This applies to both straps. 2 straps provide more support and comfort during use compared to the traditional single-strap system. The different lengths between the two straps have the advantage that the instrument is positioned directly in front of the musician, whereby the first and second carrying straps rest equally on the respective shoulders. 2025 / 5073 BE2025 / 5073 4 In implementation forms, the carrying system according to conclusion 1 or 2, where the first shoulder strap encloses a neck side configured to be located near the neck during use, where the neck side is curved to round off concavely around the neck. The curvature on the inside of the strap at the level of the neck, offers the advantage that the side of both straps does not exert any sharp-feeling pressure5 against the neck. Given that the widening of the first and the second strap have a different length, the curvature on the widening of the respective straps may be different. This curvature around the neck also offers the advantage that the straps can be positioned closer together, and remain resting better on the shoulder regardless of any body movements made by the user.10 In implementation forms, the carrying system according to one of the preceding conclusions, in which the first shoulder straps and the second shoulder strap are connected to each other and to the chest section at a connection point (see illustration 8 in Figure 1), where the connection point is configured to be located in the middle of the chest during use, viewed in a direction from left to right of the person, where the optional chest section is also located in the middle of the chest. The carrying system is characterized by two straps over the shoulders that meet at the level of the chest section. The advantage of this is that the shoulder section differs significantly in function of improved ergonomics, while the front section, which is not crucial for ergonomics, does show similarities with a traditional carrying system. This ensures both recognizable ease of use when putting on and taking off the carrying system. It also contributes to a familiar visual recognition that is in line with a traditional one-shoulder carrying system. In execution forms, the carrying system according to one of the preceding conclusions where the first shoulder straps and the second shoulder strap are connected to each other and to the chest section at a connection point (see illustration 8 in figure 1), e.g. a ring, where the first shoulder strap is attached at a first angle to the connection point to extend towards the first shoulder, and the second shoulder strap is at a second angle to extend towards the second shoulder, where optionally the first and second angles are formed by folding the respective shoulder straps around the 30 ring at an angle and fastening them. The carrying system is characterized by two straps that meet at, for example, a ring, where the folding of the material is designed so that the shoulder straps also stand in a natural position at a certain angle relative to the fastening ring. 2025 / 5073 BE2025 / 5073 5 This offers the advantage that the two shoulder straps have no tendency to slip off the shoulders, and also that the meeting of both shoulder straps at the ring shows no tension that detracts from the ergonomics of the carrying system. In execution forms, the carrying system according to the preceding conclusions whereby the first shoulder strap is attached to the back section at a back connection point, where the back connection point is formed by a ring (see illustration 9 in Figure 1), where the first shoulder straps of the back section are both looped through a ring, where the second shoulder strap is attached to the first shoulder strap at a shoulder strap connection point (see illustration 10 in Figure 1),by means of a second ring, whereby the first shoulder strap passes through the second ring and the second shoulder strap is looped through the second ring, such that the shoulder strap connection point is movable relative to the first shoulder strap. The carrying system is characterized by two shoulder straps that are adjustable in position to the user's build. Connecting one shoulder strap via a ring to the other shoulder strap allows for better adjustment of the length of the second shoulder strap, whereby this second shoulder strap approaches the first shoulder strap around the user's neck at an approximately perpendicular angle. This causes the instrument to be worn to hang in a better playing position and ensures equal weight distribution over both shoulders. In execution forms, the carrying system according to one of the preceding conclusions, whereby the strap construction is configured to be adjustable in a usable length at one or more places, such that the musical instrument or other object can be placed in various equilibrium positions whereby the musical instrument is positioned at different angles. The carrying system is characterized by a maximum number of adjustment options in function of an ergonomic playing or carrying position. This offers the advantage that the equilibrium position of the instrument can be adapted to the specific characteristics of the instrument, such as, for example but not exclusively, instruments with a heavy headstock, causing the neck of the instrument to tend to sag. In design forms, The carrying system according to one of the preceding conclusions,30 whereby the first shoulder strap is adjustable to a usable length, and / or where the second shoulder strap is adjustable to a usable length. 2025 / 5073 BE2025 / 5073 6 The carrying system is characterized by the extra length-adjustable straps on both shoulders separately (see illustration 11 in Figure 1). This allows a balance to be found so that both shoulders of the user are loaded equally. Additionally, the separate adjustability per shoulder strap offers the advantage of extra tilting options for the position in which the instrument is located. 5 In design forms, the carrying system according to one of the preceding conclusions, where the chest section is adjustable to a usable length. The carrying system has the ability to raise or lower the height of the head end of the instrument without changing the height of the instrument body and / or soundbox (see illustration 12 in Figure 1). 10 In design forms, the carrying system according to one of the preceding conclusions, where the back section is adjustable in length. The support system has the ability to raise or lower the height of the instrument body and / or soundbox without changing the height of the head end of the instrument (see illustration 13 in Figure 1).15 In design forms, the support system according to one of the preceding conclusions, where the first end has one or more attachment points (see illustration 14 in Figure 1) to be attached to the musical instrument, in order to adjust the usable length. The adjustment system offers the possibility to adjust the length near the first end without having to adjust the general setting of the support system. This offers the advantage that the support system can be used for various instruments with the possibility of limited adjustment based on the preferences for the specific instrument in use at a given moment, while maintaining the general adjustment preference based on body shape and personal preferences that are valid for the user regardless of the instrument. In design forms, the support system according to one of the preceding conclusions, whereby the second end has one or more attachment points to be attached to the musical instrument, in order to set the usable length. The adjustment system contains the possibility to adjust the length at the second end to 30 without having to adjust the gradual adjustment. This offers the advantage that the support system can be used for different instruments with the possibility of limited adjustment based on the wishes for the specific 2025 / 5073 BE2025 / 5073 7 instrument then in use, while maintaining the general adjustment preference based on the body shape and personal preferences of the user. In execution forms, the support system according to one or more of the preceding conclusions, whereby the strap construction comprises leather, where optionally the leather is polished or smoothed,e.g. on the side of at least the shoulder straps.5 The carrying system is made of leather as a material that molds to the user's body with frequent use due to body heat and ambient humidity. This offers the advantage of an extra-ergonomic fit, combined with a durable, strong material that acquires a natural aesthetic patina over the years of use. Although the material is very strong and durable with years of proper maintenance, it is repairable or replaceable per component if necessary. The system is characterized by a smooth or soft section on the side, which increases comfort to the touch. This advantage is mainly evident in the places where it touches the user's neck. In execution forms, the support system in accordance with one or more of the preceding claims whereby the first and second shoulder straps each comprising a widened strap15 which is wider than the other straps of the strap construction, whereby each widened strap comprises the first opening and a second opening, where a thinner strap lies against the widened strap and extends through the first and second opening. The carrying system is characterized by increased comfort on the shoulders and allows the leather to mold to the shoulder at the height of the wider strap through frequent use. In execution forms, the carrying system according to one of the preceding conclusions, comprising one or more of the following dimensions: - the length of the first end is between 52 and 97 cm; - the length of the second end is between 19 and 37 cm; - the length of the back section is between 52 and 101 cm; - the length of the chest section is between 29 and 41 cm; - the length of the first shoulder strap is between 56 and 104 cm; - the length of the second shoulder strap is between 38 and 71 cm; -the width of the first shoulder strap is between 1cm and 10cm;30 -the width of the second shoulder strap is between 1cm and 10cm; 2025 / 5073 BE2025 / 5073 8 In execution forms, a method for supporting a musical instrument, in particular but not exclusively a string instrument such as a guitar or a bass guitar, using a carrying system in accordance with one of the preceding conclusions, whereby the procedure comprises the following steps: - attaching the first object attachment to the musical instrument in a first area; - attaching the second object attachment to the musical instrument in a second area; - placing the shoulder section over the shoulders, such that the first shoulder strap is located over the first shoulder, e.g. a left shoulder, of the user; and the second shoulder strap is located over the second shoulder, e.g. right shoulder, of the user. The carrying system is characterized by the possibility of support on both shoulders, whereby the middle section over the shoulders can be adjusted to ergonomic preference based on body build and instrument, and whereby the first and second sections are also adjustable to shorten or lengthen these sections independently of each other. The adjustability can be performed at a minimum of six places, which offers the advantage of keeping the instrument in a preferred position, for example for ergonomic reasons, in equilibrium depending on the user's build or personal preference.20 The invention is explained below by means of figures.
