In the drawing, the same reference number is assigned to the same or analogous element. Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show a modular door unit configured for connection with a modular structure such as an exhibition stand. Modular structures such as exhibition stands comprise a wide range of applications that are flexible and efficient for presenting products and services during events, exhibitions and trade fairs. A common example is the exhibition kiosk, a small, independent unit specifically designed to display products or provide information to visitors. A door unit 100 comprises a door panel 110 and a frame 120, whereby the door panel 20 110 is rotatably connected to the frame 120. This rotation enables the door panel 110 to move between an open and closed position. Fig. 1 shows the door panel in the open position. Fig. 2 shows the door panel shown in Figure 1 in the closed position. A door panel is the movable part of the door unit that is designed to open or close a passage through a wall. In modular constructions, such as exhibition stands, the door panel is designed to be lightweight and easy to operate, which increases the flexibility and ease of use of the construction. In the open position, the door panel 110 provides access through the door unit 100, while in the closed position access is obstructed. The door unit100 further comprises one or more fasteners130 that connect the frame30 to the modular structure, making the door unit easy to assemble and disassemble. This offers flexibility and efficiency when setting up temporary structures, such as exhibition stands, and makes it possible to quickly adapt the door unit to various configurations. The door unit 100 is equipped with a handle 140 for operating the door panel. 35 The handle has at least one gripping element that enables the user to effectively rotate the door panel 2025 / 5160 BE2025 / 5160 8 between an open and a closed position. The handle 140 of the door unit has at least one gripping element 141 and is movable between a first and a second position. In the first position, the handle 140 is in a position that makes it possible for a user to move the door panel, so that access is granted or obstructed depending on the position of the door. This contributes to the usability 5 functionality of the door unit, whereby it can be efficiently deployed in modular constructions. The handle140 is also movable to a second position. In this second position, the handle is positioned such that the door unit100 is stackable on or against at least one other door unit100; this other door unit is not shown. This stackability is an important feature for the efficient storage and transport of the door units, especially in environments where space must be optimally utilized, such as when setting up exhibition stands. By placing the handle140 in this second position, the door unit is made compact, which contributes to simplified logistics and space savings. This stackability contributes to the efficient storage and transport of multiple door units, which is important for companies that regularly assemble and disassemble modular constructions. Figures 3A, 3B and 3C show a perspective view of a handle 140 in different positions. Figure 3A and Figure 4A show the handle 140 in the first position,In the first position, the handle 140 is located in a position that allows a user to move the door panel, so that access is granted or obstructed depending on the position 20 in which the door is located, as described above. In the first position, the gripping element 141 extends away from the door panel, which means that the gripping element 141 is located in such a position that it is easily accessible for a user to operate. This configuration allows the user to get a firm grip on the handle and to rotate the door panel smoothly between the open and closed positions. By placing the 25 gripping element in this position, the ergonomics of the operation are improved, which leads to an efficient and virtually effortless interaction with the door unit. Furthermore, the positioning of the gripping element 141 ensures that the user has the necessary leverage. has to securely and effectively lock or unlock the door, depending on the desired position. In the first position, the engagement element 141 preferably extends mainly perpendicular to the door panel, which means that it stands at an angle of approximately 90 degrees to the surface of the door panel. By placing the engagement element in this position, the lever action is optimized, which facilitates the rotation of the door panel between the open and closed positions. The perpendicular position of the engagement element 141 contributes to an ergonomic interaction with the door unit 100,35, thereby reducing the physical effort required to open or close the door. 2025 / 5160 BE2025 / 5160 9 Figure 3C and Figure 4B show the handle 140 in the second position. In the second position, the handle 140 is positioned such that the gripping element 141 does not protrude or hardly protrudes from the door panel, making the door unit compact in shape. This configuration was designed to facilitate stackability,so that multiple door units can be efficiently stored or transported on top of or against each other. By folding or otherwise retracting the handle, the risk of damage to the handle itself or to adjacent door units during stacking is reduced. This position contributes to space saving, which is particularly beneficial for the logistics of setting up and dismantling modular structures, such as exhibition stands. This allows companies to make optimal use of available storage space and reduce transport costs, while maintaining the integrity and usability of the door units. This configuration significantly limits the risk of damage to the door panel, because there are no protruding parts that can bump or rub against other surfaces during storage or transport. Protruding handles can be vulnerable to impacts and mechanical pressure, which increases the risk of breakage or deformation. By folding or retracting the handle, the risk of such damage is reduced.which promotes the durability and lifespan of the door unit. This design choice is particularly valuable in situations where door units are frequently stacked and transported, such as during the assembly and disassembly of door teeth. It ensures that the door units remain in optimal condition and that maintenance costs are minimized, while the aesthetic and functional integrity of the door unit is preserved. Another further advantage is that handles known from standard technology are not integrated into the design of the door unit, which often require removal before storage or transport to prevent them from protruding and potentially becoming damaged. This removal process can require considerable labor and time, because it often has to be performed manually and may require tools. Moreover, care must be taken to correctly store the removed parts to prevent loss or damage. This extra work can reduce the efficiency of the process of assembling and disassembling modular structures. With the door unit, where the handle can be positioned in a second, also called compact position, without removal, this extra effort is avoided. As a result, the door units can be stacked and transported faster and with less preparation, which improves the overall productivity and cost-effectiveness of the management of the structures. In the second position, the engagement element 141 lies mainly parallel to the door panel, which means that the plane lies against the surface of the door panel. This configuration ensures that the handle does not protrude, giving the door unit a more streamlined and compact shape. By positioning the engagement element 141 parallel to the 2025 / 5160 BE2025 / 5160 10 door panel, the risk of damage to both the handle and the door panel during storage or transport is significantly reduced. When the engagement element 141 is in the second position, the maximum distance between the engagement element and the door panel is limited, preferably to less than 1 cm. This minimum distance ensures that the handle is effectively embedded in the profile of the door panel, thereby further reducing the risk of damage by external influences during storage or transport. By positioning the engagement element 141 as close as possible to the door panel, a streamlined and compact configuration is achieved that optimizes the stackability of the door unit. When the engagement element 141 is in the second position, the maximum distance is measured between the wall surface of the engagement element furthest from the door panel and the wall surface of the door panel that directly adjoins the element of contact. This distance is limited, preferably to less than 1 cm,which means that the gripping element lies almost flush against the door panel. Figure 3B shows the handle in a position between the first position, shown in Figure 3A, and the second position, shown in Figure 3B, lying position. To move from the first to the second position, the handle can be rotated along an axis as shown in Figure 5. Figure 5 shows a perspective view of the handle. The handle 140 of door unit 100 shown in Figure 5 is equipped with a means of movement 143, which is designed to move the handle 140 between the first and second positions. This means of movement 143 makes it possible to operate the handle easily, allowing the user to adjust the gripping element depending on operational needs. In the first position, the gripping element extends mainly perpendicular to the door panel, which ensures a firm grip and easy operation. By using the means of movement, the handle can be moved to the second position, where the 25 engagement element lies mainly parallel to the door panel as described above. The displacement device 143 is rotatably connected to the door panel, allowing the handle to rotate between the first and second positions. This rotation offers an efficient way to position the handle, depending on the operational requirements. The handle 140 is mounted at a distal end of the displacement device 143, 30 which means that it is located at the end of the mechanism that moves the handle. The displacement device 143 is designed to position the handle at two different distances from an end edge of the door panel. At the first distance, the handle strikes almost against the end edge of the door panel. This situation is shown in figures 3A, 3B, 3C,4A and 4b shown.35 2025 / 5160 BE2025 / 5160 11 At the second distance, the means of movement offers the possibility for the handle to move between the first position and the second position. The handle in the second position is shown in Figure 5. At the second distance, the handle can be rotated. Subsequently, the handle can be moved back to the first distance, where the handle rests against the end edge of the door panel. The handle can be moved from the first to the second distance by pulling on the handle. Conversely, the handle can be moved from the second distance to the first distance by pushing against the handle. Figure 5 further shows that the handle140 comprises a base142 that is connected to the at least one gripping element, which base142 is oriented at a non-zero angle with respect to the at least one gripping element and is designed to strike against an end edge10 of the door panel. This means that the base does not run parallel to the gripping element, but stands at an angle that differs from zero degrees. The base is designed so that it can strike against an end edge of the door panel. This striking serves multiple purposes: it stabilizes the handle when the handle is in the first distance position against the end edge of the door panel, and it provides a fixed point of contact that supports the rotation and movement of the handle during use. By positioning and designing the handle in this way, the door unit becomes streamlined and efficient for storage, while at the same time maintaining the functionalities and ease of use of the handle. Striking the base against the end edge also helps to limit the movement of the handle.which contributes to the structural integrity of the door units and reduces the risk of damage from unintended movements. Figure 5 shows that the base of the handle extends in both a longitudinal and a lateral direction. This means that the base has a certain length and width that defines its surface. The distance between two directly opposite longitudinal peripheral edges of the base is designed so that it corresponds maximally to the depth dimension of the door panel, measured along its top edge. This ensures that the base is located exactly within the boundaries of the door panel, which promotes a streamlined integration of the handle and the door panel. By making the distance146 smaller than the depth dimension of the door panel, the base142 is effectively embedded within the profile of the door panel120. This prevents the base from protruding, which reduces the risk of damage during storage or transport. This also contributes to a compact and efficient stacking of the door units, since there are no protruding parts that could get in the way. These features improve the practical application of the door unit by enabling space savings and protection against mechanical pressure or impact.35 2025 / 5160 BE2025 / 5160 12 In addition, the positioning of the base142 within the depth dimension of the door panel offers an aesthetic and functional integration that promotes the overall durability of the door unit. The design ensures that the handles and the door panel work together seamlessly, which increases ease of use and operational efficiency, especially in modular constructions such as cantilevered units where flexibility and reusability are of great importance.5 In Figure 5 it can be seen that the minimum engagement element is located at a peripheral edge of the base142 and is connected to it. This positioning means that the engagement element is placed along the outer edge of the base. By the by placing the engagement element on the peripheral edge, the lever action is maximized, allowing the user to operate the door panel with minimal effort. The connection between the gripping element and the base is designed to provide a firm and stable interaction, which increases the durability and reliability of the handle. Furthermore, the positioning of the gripping element at the edge of the base contributes to an efficient use of space within the door unit. It minimizes protruding parts and makes the handle compact and streamlined, which promotes stackability and protection against damage during storage and transport. Figure 5 illustrates that the minimum gripping element is formed integrally with the base. This means that the gripping element and the base are manufactured from a single piece of material, without separate parts that need to be connected to each other. This integrated formation offers various advantages in terms of sustainability and structural integrity. By forming the point of leverage and the basis as a single whole, the risk of weak points that can arise from connections or seams is significantly reduced. Figure 5 shows that the minimum attachment element 141 is connected to the base at a location where two peripheral edges intersect. This configuration means that the attachment element is located at a strategic point along the base, which influences the structural integrity and function of the handle. Preference is given to a connection where the attachment element extends only partially along one of the two intersecting peripheral edges. This partial connection along one edge, for example along edge 145a,offers a number of advantages. The positioning of the engagement element at the intersecting edges and the partial connection along one edge ensure efficient operation and grip. In particular, this ensures that the engagement element protrudes relative to the door panel in the first position and lies flush or nearly flush with the door panel in the second position. A quarter distance between a lateral edge of the base and a directly adjacent edge of the door must be at least one engagement element. In a similar example design form, the distance must be at least equal, and preferably larger, than a depth dimension of the door panel measured along its end edge. Figure 5 shows two engagement elements, where the above-mentioned description can be applied to both. Figure 6 shows a perspective view of a frame 120 according to a 5 example execution form, where a fastener 130 is magnified. The frame 120 is also partially shown in cross-section in order to show the fastener 130. Figures 7A and 7B show the fastener 130 magnified in Figure 6 in an extended and retracted position. Figure 7A shows the fastener in the retracted position, Figure 7 in the extended position.10 The fastener 130 is designed so that it is movably mounted within the frame 120, allowing it to move between a retracted position and an extended position. In the retracted position, the fastener is almost completely, and preferably completely, retracted into the frame 120. This configuration ensures that the fastener does not protrude, which gives the door unit a streamlined and compact shape,15 which promotes stackability and protection against damage during storage and transport. Assembly and installation are also simplified by this. When the fastener130 is brought into the extended position, it extends through the frame120,so that the frame can be attached to an adjacent modular structure. It offers a mechanism with which the door unit can be firmly and securely attached to other modular elements, creating a stable and coherent structure. The ability to move the fastening device between these positions offers flexibility and ease of use, allowing the door unit to be quickly adapted to different configurations and requirements of modular structures. This design feature increases the operational efficiency and practical application of the door unit by simplifying both assembly and disassembly of the structure, which is particularly valuable in dynamic environments such as trade fairs. In addition, this preferred design, in which the fastening device is movably mounted within the frame, ensures that the fasteners are always present and remain integrated into the door unit. This prevents the risk of loss of loose parts,a common problem with traditional fastening systems that must be removed for storage or transport. By keeping the fasteners within the frame, even in the retracted position, the integrity and completeness of the door unit are ensured. To further support the functionality of the movable fastener130,35 a sleeve131 can be provided. This sleeve131 is attached to a first peripheral wall of the 2025 / 5160 BE2025 / 5160 14 frame120 and offers a protective and guiding structure in which the fastener is movably mounted. The sleeve131 ensures that the fastener can move smoothly between the retracted and extended positions, without the risk of snagging or being damaged by contact with other noble parts of the door unit or the modular construction. This protection5 contributes to the durability and reliability of the fastener, which increases the operational efficiency of the door unit. A spring element132 can be provided to push the movable fastener to the retracted position. This spring element is designed to exert a constant force on the fastener, causing it to automatically retract when not in active use. Due to this mechanical support, the fastener remains neatly within the frame, which promotes the streamlined shape of the door unit, see Figure 7A. The spring element contributes to the efficiency and ease of use of the door unit by ensuring an automatic return to the retracted position, which reduces the risk of protruding parts that could be damaged during transport or storage. This mechanism eliminates the need for manual adjustment of the fastener, which simplifies operational processes by saving time. At least one fastener130 is integrated into the frame120 of the door unit100,This means that it forms a fixed part of the frame's structure. This integration ensures that the fastener is always present and functional, without the risk of it being lost or misplaced. By designing the fastener as an integrated part of the frame, the durability and structural integrity of the door unit are enhanced. The integrated position of the fastener within the frame offers several advantages. First, it ensures a streamlined and compact construction, allowing the fastener to be easily stacked and stored without protruding from the door unit. This reduces the risk of damage during transport and storage. Second, the integration simplifies the disassembly and removal of the door unit in modular constructions, as there are no loose parts that need to be attached or removed. Figures 8A, 8Ben 8C then one door unit with a door stop 150. The door stop 150 has 30 a stop 151,and is rotatably connected to the frame or the door panel. This door stop is designed so that the stop can be positioned in at least one first stop position and a passage position. In the first stop position, the stop prevents the door panel from rotating 120° past the frame, whereby the rotation of the door panel is effectively limited and controlled. In the passage position, the stop allows the door panel to rotate freely along the frame, making it possible to fully open or close the door without hindrance. The first stop position is shown, for example, in Figure 8A and 8B. The passage position is shown in Figure 8C. Additionally, the door stop 150 can be further positioned in at least one second stop position. In the first stop position, the stop abuts a first peripheral wall of the frame, see for example Figure 8A, while in the second stop position, the stop abuts a second peripheral wall of the frame lying opposite the first peripheral wall.See Figure 8B. This offers flexibility in the rotational movements of the door panel and makes it possible to adjust the rotation angle and the position of the door to specific operational requirements. In the pass-through position, the stop is positioned such that the door panel can rotate above or below the stop; Figure 8C shows a situation where the door panel will rotate above the stop. This design ensures unhindered movement of the door panel, for example in a so-called “swing door”. Furthermore, the door stop can be mounted in an upper or lower segment of the frame, depending on the requirements of the construction and the use. Figures 8A, 8B and 8C show a situation in which the door stop is positioned in a lower segment.15 Finally, the door stop is mounted on a wall of the frame120 that is oriented towards the door panel, whereby the interaction between the door panel and the door stop is direct and effective. This mounting position ensures that the door stop is easily accessible and operable, which contributes to the operational efficiency of the door unit. The design of the door stop offers both structural support and functional flexibility, allowing the door unit to be optimally used in modular constructions such as exhibition stands. Finally, figures 9A and 9b show that the door unit can include a locking device, with or without a combination lock as shown in the figures. Figures 9A and 9b show a door unit that includes a locking device with a rotatable strike plate. The strike plate can rotate between a release position and a locking position. In the release position, the door panel is free to rotate within the frame, while in the locking position, the door panel is locked relative to the frame. When the locking device160 is integrated into the frame, the door panel120 comprises a recess in which the strike plate is housed in the locking position, whereby the door panel30 is effectively locked. Conversely, when the locking device is integrated into the door panel,The frame has a recess in which the strike plate is housed in the locking position, which also contributes to the locking of the door panel. Naturally, in both situations there is also a slot in the frame and the panel respectively to rotate the strike plate161 through. The recess is elongated, with the ends162 being wider than the middle35 segment131, which enables efficient locking and release of the door panel. This 2025 / 5160 BE2025 / 5160 16 mechanism offers a technical advantage because it guarantees a robust locking of the door panel in the frame, which increases the safety and stability of the door unit. The interaction between the recesses and the locking plate ensures effective locking, whereby the geometry of the recess contributes to improved operation of the locking mechanism. This configuration makes optimal use of the available space and the locking force, resulting in improved performance without additional processing force.storage capacity or bandwidth required.
