Abstract

The present invention relates to improved lipopeptide compositions for reconstitution in a liquid diluent to form a pharmaceutical composition for parenteral administration, as well as methods of making the solid lipopeptide compositions. Preferred improved lipopeptide compositions include solid daptomysin preparations with increased rates of reconstitution in aqueous liquids and'or incrased daptomycin chemical stability.
