Abstract

Provided herein are methods for identifying a neurogenesis-modulating compound, comprising: culturing adipose-derived stern cells (ADSCs) in the presence of a candidate compound and determining the extent of neurogenesis in the ADSCs and systems for identifying a neurogenesis modulating compound. Also provided are methods of promoting neurogenesis in ADSCs.
