Description

1 / 12 DESCRIPTIVE REPORT “PRINTED ADVERTISING DISPLAY SUPPORT FOR INSTALLATION INSIDE PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES” Introduction

[001] This descriptive report refers to a patent application for an invention for a support developed with the aim of improving and standardizing the format for displaying advertising for products / services and public utility communications in public transport, such as buses, trains, ferries, subways, etc. Technical comments

[002] As is known, currently the advertising panels used in public transport do not have a defined format, only stickers pasted in places such as interior lights, windows, and other surfaces. Printing on stickers is more expensive than printing on paper. One of these types of advertising, the pasting of stickers on the backs of seats in public vehicles, ends up being the target of vandalism and thus becomes ineffective.

[003] Furthermore, another difficulty faced is the lack of standardization in the format of advertising in public transport systems. For example, there are at least four types of internal bus advertising layouts on the market, which creates difficulties for the creative and media planning sectors of advertising agencies. When faced with these diverse formats, they have budgeting difficulties, even in the design process itself, thus harming the entire advertising dissemination system. In the case of public bodies, production costs increase with the purchase of advertising materials. Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 5 / 33 Two-thirds of the costs are allocated to advertising agencies, printing companies, auditors, etc. Therefore, there is no specific space for advertisements within public transportation. In the case of advertising using stickers placed on the windows of public vehicles, the interior lighting is reduced, causing wear and tear on the supporting materials, resulting in frequent maintenance and cleaning due to the adhesive residue left after their removal.

[004] As an example of the above matter, and in order to represent the applied state of the art, the following patent document may be cited, from which an image has been extracted and is presented as figure 1 in the attached drawings of this patent application: - PI 0803183-5, entitled “ADVERTISING BOXES INSIDE PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES”, which claims a box formed by a frame (1) with sharp corners composed of three fixed parts: top, bottom and left side. The other parts of the box are connected to this frame. There is a plate (2), of transparent material, which can be glass, acrylic, polyester, etc., fitted inside the frame. The right side of the frame (4), separate from the others, is fixed to another plate that is located at the back of the frame, and on which the advertisements are placed, said plate being connected to the right side (4), and can be moved, like a drawer. The frame (1 and 4) and the bottom plate can be made of wood, plastic, metal, etc. This box can be fixed to the back of a seat, when the backrest is low, and the said box also has a support to place the box above the level of the backrest, when necessary. As can be seen, both this type of advertising and that done by pasting stickers... Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 6 / 33 3 / 12 can become an unwanted obstruction in the window of a public vehicle and may even damage it. Objectives of the invention

[005] Aware of the need to improve and standardize the format of media display (advertising) of products / services and public utility communication in means of transport, such as buses, trains, ferries, subways, etc., the display support was created, consisting of a unique set of parts that are easy to assemble and install, designed exclusively for public transport in order to address the lack of standardization in advertising communication, also focusing on user safety and the effectiveness of the displayed message.

[006] The said support with display will be fixed to public transport vehicles in such a way as not to interfere with their structures: there is no need for drilling, just a snap-fit coupling that adapts perfectly to the fixing bars of said public transport.

[007] The display stand is extremely lightweight and has an ideal shape for good viewing from various angles within public transport. It has a unique media insertion and removal system using a sliding lock with a returnable spring. This locking and engagement device makes the stand one of the fastest static media options for changing advertisements.

[008] The aforementioned display support aims to improve the way the internal advertising model is communicated on buses, providing greater security and effectiveness in the messages. From the point of view of advertising sales, standardizing the media format will minimize operating costs, making it more attractive for Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 7 / 33 4 / 12 investments in public transportation by advertisers. Description of the drawings

[009] The image in figure 1, as already explained, refers to what is known in the art. [01 0] The following related figures refer to the support, which is the subject of this patent application: Figures 2 and 3 - front and rear perspective views of the stand in exploded state, showing the parts that make up the assembly of the display stand; Figure 4 - Rear perspective view of the support, showing its mounting and attachment to the tubular bar of a bus or other public transport vehicle; Figure 5 - view according to the previous figure, showing the support already assembled and fixed to the tubular bar, displaying its sliding lock and its rods in the shape of a frame for advertising panels; Figure 6 - shows the support in front perspective, with a panel or advertising board with printed media inserted through the slot; Figure 7 - rear perspective sequence, showing that the insertion of the advertising panel is done by pulling the latch, releasing its passage, which fits perfectly between the frame-shaped rods, then returning the latch to secure the panel; Figure 8 shows a top-down view of the method for inserting the advertising board or panel, where the lock is... Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 8 / 33 5 / 12 pull to release the passage of the slot, through which the panel is inserted, which is guided and limited by the channels of the rods until it reaches its end of travel, inserting itself into the channel of the limiting piece. Thus, the lock is released, which returns to its locking position of the slot, preventing the removal of the panel until the lock is activated again; Figures 9 and 10 show a rear and front perspective view, respectively, of the assembled and installed support, displaying the printed media. Detailed description

[011] In accordance with the attached figures, the “PRINTED ADVERTISING DISPLAY SUPPORT FOR INSTALLATION INSIDE PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES”, the subject of this patent application, consists, as shown in figures 2 and 3, of a display support (1) composed of a set of parts, comprising two cabinets, a front cabinet (10) and a rear cabinet (11), which together work with a sliding lock (20) with a helical spring (30) and support a pair of parallel rods (40), one lower and one upper, connected at their free end by a limiting piece (50), which frame a removable advertising panel (PP). [01 2] The aforementioned cabinets, front (10) and rear (11), have a half-round clamp-type body, preferably equipped with a pattern of internal reinforcing ribs (10a) and (11a). The rear cabinet (11) has through holes (12) near its side edges and coinciding with the internal holes (13) of the front cabinet (10) for the passage of screws (P). The rear cabinet Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 9 / 33 6 / 12 (11) receives in its intermediate portion an oblong housing (14), hollow, equipped with guide grooves (14a) interspersed by a tubular channel (14b). The front housing (10), in turn, has a limiting recess (15), in a coincident position and shape concordant with the oblong housing (14) of the rear housing (11).

[013] From one of their coincident edges, the said half-round cabinets (10 and 11) extend a straight section (16) equipped with a pair of internal sleeves (17), one upper and one lower. [01 4] Along its straight section ( 1 6) and from the inner face, the front cabinet ( 1 1) has its body pierced by a vertical slot (18) with a thickness coinciding with the thickness of the advertising panel (PP).

[015] The said sliding latch (20) has a body designed in an oblong shape, coinciding with the shape of the oblong housing (14) of the rear cabinet (11), one of its larger faces having gripping grooves (21) and the opposite face interrupted by a pair of rail-type recesses (22) interspersed by a projecting conical pin or stop (23). [01 6] The aforementioned parallel rods (40) are formed by a straight body, whose end adopts a fitting terminal (41) of a shape coinciding with the internal sleeves (17) of the cabinets (10 and 11) and whose opposite end extends a coupling terminal (42). On their opposing internal faces, the parallel rods (40) are slit from end to end by a guide channel (43). [01 7] The limiting piece (50) has a pair of female couplings (5 1 ) coinciding with the coupling terminals (42) of the parallel rods (40). Its body is vertical and has an inner face, Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 10 / 33 7 / 12 facing the rods (40), interrupted by a limit switch (52).

[018] Once the assembly forming the display support (1) is constituted, it will be installed on the tubular bars (B) of buses, trains, and other public or private passenger transport vehicles for displaying printed advertising and communication.

[019] For this purpose, as shown in figure 4, explained in a preferred, but not limiting, assembly sequence, the limiting piece (50) receives in its pair of female couplings (51) the coupling terminal (42) of each of the parallel rods (40), coinciding and aligning their channels (43 and 52). The fitting terminals (41) of the two parallel rods (40) are then fitted into the upper and lower internal sleeves (17) of one of the cabinets (10 or 11).

[020] In parallel to this, the sliding latch (20) is inserted into the oblong housing (14) of the rear cabinet (11) so as to fit the pair of recesses (22) into the respective guide grooves (14a) of the latter (14), the helical spring (30) being inserted into the tubular channel (14b) and then the respective latch (20) sliding until its conical stop (23) is also inserted into the said tubular channel (14b), anchoring itself in the spring (30). [02 1 ] In this way, the two cabinets ( 1 0 and 1 1) are then joined, intertwined by the bar (B), embracing and enveloping it, and then screwed together by screws (P) through their coincident holes (12 and 13), suitable for this purpose, thus forming the display support ( 1), as shown in figure 5. This joining can be done not only by screws (P), but also by rivets, fittings, or any other method. Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 11 / 33 8 / 12

[022] Thus, in this position, when joined, the inner sleeves (17) of both cabinets (10 and 11) enclose and secure the fitting terminals (17) of the pair of parallel rods (40), supporting them perpendicularly, which, in turn, support the limiting piece (50), configuring a kind of frame. This junction, consequently, aligns the vertical slot (18) with the channels (43) of the rods (40) and the end-of-stroke channel (52) of the limiting piece (50), in a linear and free path.

[023] In addition to this, during the joining of the cabinets (10 and 11), the end of the sliding latch (20) inside these fits and sits in the limiting recess (15) of the front cabinet (10), remaining pressed against it by the action of the helical spring (30).

[024] Thus installed on the tubular bar (B), the support (1) will receive a plate or panel (PP) with printed advertising, as shown in figures 6, 7 and 8. To do this, the person in charge simply pulls the sliding latch (20) located in the middle portion of the display support (1), supporting their fingers on the handle grooves (2 1 ). This action causes the conical pin (23) of said latch (20) to compress the helical spring (30) inside the tubular channel (14b) of the rear cabinet (1 1), where it is housed. Thus, the sliding latch (20) is removed from the limiting recess (15) of the front cabinet (11), moving away from it and releasing the passage of the vertical slot (18), as shown in the cutaway sequence of figure 8. This movement is facilitated by the guide grooves (14b) of the oblong housing (14), which guide the recesses (22) of said lock (20).

[025] In this position, the advertising panel (PP) can be inserted from the vertical slot (1 8), guided and limited by the channels (43) Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 12 / 33 9 / 12 of the parallel rods (40) until it reaches and is housed in the groove (52) of the limiting piece (50), its travel being limited by this.

[026] Once the advertising panel (PP) has been inserted, the sliding lock (20) can be released, returning to its initial position by the return action of the helical spring (30) against its conical pin (23), housing itself again in the limiting recess (15) and thus closing the passage of the vertical slot (18). In this way, without the possibility of return, the advertising panel (PP) is locked in this position, and can only be removed by releasing the sliding lock (20) again, when it is necessary to change or remove the advertising.

[027] Thus, as shown in figures 9 and 10, the display stand (1) proves to be an excellent information vehicle, where the advertising panel (PP) is displayed perpendicularly to the bar (B) where the stand (1) is installed, being displayed within the elegant frame formed by the rods (40) and limiting piece (50). [02 8] The panel ( 1 ) has a sophisticated and harmonious design, having been designed to harmonize with the interior environment of buses, trains and other means of transport where a large number of users circulate daily.

[029] Obviously, despite its preferential installation in means of transport, the support (1) can be installed in any location, public or private, where there is a tubular bar (B) for its correct fixation.

[030] The support (1) may assume other formats, with curved cabinets (10 and 11) for curved bars (B), with inclined rods (40) for media alignment and other modifications which, however, maintain its main claimed characteristics, namely, Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 13 / 33 10 / 12 maintaining the necessary conformation for its correct installation, as taught in this document, and locking system for inserting the advertising plate or panel (PP). [03 1] Finally, the inventor states that: - The parts that make up the display stand (1) are preferably manufactured by thermoforming using a mold / die tool, made of thermoplastic or metallic polymeric material, and are fully recyclable; The parts are fastened together using concealed fittings and screws, and this fastening makes removal by third parties difficult; - The display stand (1) will be fixed to said public transport without interfering with the structures thereof: no drilling is required, only a snap-fit coupling that fits perfectly into the fixing bars of said public transport; - The colors can be incorporated directly into the thermoformed material or applied through technical painting; - With a focus on user safety, the display stand (1) has rounded corners, which prevents accidents, and will be injection molded with 80% hardness, preventing the possibility of splintering if it breaks. Its injection molding composition will contain flame-retardant substances; - In case of vandalism problems, these parts can be easily replaced; Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 14 / 33 11 / 12 - Its standard display stand format (1), with a 2 to 1 ratio, facilitates standardization in media display; - The display stand (1) is extremely lightweight, weighing no more than 350 grams, and has an ideal shape for good viewing from various angles within said public transport; - The support (1) has an exclusive media insertion and removal system: its locking device facilitates the installation and removal of advertising boards or panels (PP) in an average time of 4 seconds, without the need to disassemble the support with display or damage or manipulate any internal parts or equipment of the vehicles, and, because it has a simple insertion device, the media can be easily changed and sold weekly; - Its snap-in and locking mechanism makes it one of the fastest static media options for ad changes; - The support ( 1) is manufactured in custom colors for each vehicle where it will be installed, having been created in order to standardize and harmonize the interior environment of buses and other public vehicles, becoming an integral part of the interior environment thereof; - The expo support ( 1 ) vi sap ara improve the way the internal advertising model on buses is communicated, ensuring safety and effectiveness in the messages; From the perspective of advertising sales, standardizing the media format will minimize costs. Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 15 / 33 December 12th operation, making public transportation more attractive to advertisers for investment. Petition 870260069352, dated 07 / 13 / 2026, page 16 / 33
