Description

Modular wall panel for civil construction.

[001] This document pertains to the field of civil construction, more specifically to a modular panel used for the construction of walls. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE STATE OF THE ART

[002] In the state of the art, several solutions for modular panels have already been developed. Through research, documents were identified that describe panels, made from cementitious, alveolar materials, containing interlocking structures and internal metal reinforcements for structural issues. However, the specific combination of characteristics of the present invention was not found in the prior art researched, and such specific combinations solve problems that are not solved in the same way by the panels already known; in addition, the revealed configuration presents an improvement in the use and functionality of said panel.

[003] Just to present the prior art study carried out to understand the state of the art, we can cite some documents, for example, process no. BR1020130027634 which reveals a Self-Supporting Hollow Core Reinforced Concrete Panel with internal PVC pipes, encased in a metal frame, already with openings for doors and windows, and space for electrical and plumbing installations. Document BR2020120072772U2 reveals a Construction System for Hollow Core Structural Walls and Slabs that uses recycled materials, such as PET bottles, to form structural hollow cores. The previous document BR1120150204015A2 describes a Cementitious Panel with an Air and Water Barrier Membrane that proposes a panel with an integrated waterproof layer for sealing facades. Petition 870250008170, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, p. 7 / 24 2 / 10 external. Document BR2020170092815U2 presents a Constructive Arrangement Applied to a Hollow Core Wall Panel with internal reinforcement using trussed reinforcement and cardboard tubes for weight relief. Document BR2020210188419U2 describes EPS Filling Introduced into Hollow Core Panels to improve thermal and acoustic insulation.

[004] In international consultations, to broaden knowledge of the state of the art, we can cite document US4226061A, which discloses a cementitious panel with truss reinforcement and alveolar structure for sealing and structural support. The Chinese document, CN209780017U, discloses a cementitious board with acoustic insulation.

[005] There is also knowledge of other panel constructions, which have not been patented, but which deal with alveolar panels made of cellular concrete that use cementitious boards as a surface finish, which is not the best solution given the difference in thermal expansion between the core material and the cementitious board on the surface. STATE OF THE ART PROBLEMS

[006] Knowing the state of the art, it can be stated that none of the prior art features a panel configuration, made essentially of cementitious materials, that was designed to solve the problem of integrating electrical and hydraulic systems in a simpler way for construction professionals, already considering the finishing stages, facilitating the inclusion of electrical and hydraulic points and baseboards while preserving the structural characteristics of the panel.

[007] Several previous authors considered the idea of including internal alveoli for pipe and duct passages. Petition 870250008170, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 8 / 24 3 / 10 electrical fittings for assembling the panels together to form the walls; however, none of the prior art inventions considered the idea of a modular panel that would optimize the step of including plumbing, electrical, and baseboard finishes, while also preserving the structural characteristics of the panel, as will be revealed here. BRIEF SUMMARY

[008] The object of this patent document is a panel developed to allow better integration with the implementation of electrical and hydraulic systems and finishes, such as holes for junction boxes and electrical finishes, as well as for hydraulic points and finishes, and baseboard-type finishes.

[009] The proposed configuration results in a panel optimized to receive finishes, reducing the effort required for the installation of electrical and plumbing points and finishes, as well as baseboards.

[010] None of the previous solutions, contained in the state of the art, sought to solve these problems mentioned in the way presented in this patent document, in addition to preserving the structural characteristics of the panel, including allowing it to be used as flooring for slabs; resulting in a new product that solves problems in a specific way, and presenting improvements in its use and functionality.

[011] The modular wall panel, the subject of this patent document, comprises a panel, made of cementitious materials, containing longitudinal alveoli for weight reduction and passage of pipes; male and female fittings for Petition 870250008170, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 9 / 24 4 / 10 facilitates the assembly of the panels together, and is characterized by having a recessed area for the placement of baseboards; internal structures in longitudinal metal trusses in the region of the panel ends; pre-defined marking points, with prior alignments with the internal alveoli, for the placement of electrical / hydraulic junction boxes and the placement of electrical and / or hydraulic finishes.

[012] With regard to the internal truss structure, this may contain a slight hook-shaped extension to serve as a lifting element for the panel. ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION

[013] Regarding the recess for baseboard placement, it reduces the need for additional cuts in the panel during baseboard installation, reducing material waste and finishing time. It facilitates the fitting of the baseboard, ensuring a more precise and aesthetically uniform fixation in the construction. It reduces labor and material costs. It prevents misalignment and unevenness in the installation of baseboards, improving the final quality of the construction.

[014] Regarding structural reinforcement in longitudinal metal trusses in the end region of the panel, it increases the structural resistance of the panel, better distributing mechanical stresses and ensuring greater durability. It allows for the safe lifting of the panels during installation, reducing the risk of damage to the material and increasing safety on the construction site. It prevents deformations and cracks at the ends, providing a better fit between the panels and greater stability during assembly. It facilitates transport and storage, making the panels more robust without compromising their lightness. It allows the use of the panels as slabs. A Petition 870250008170, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 10 / 24 5 / 10 possibility of structural reinforcement: providing an extension outward from the panel in the form of a hook also serves as a facilitating element for lifting and handling the panel on the construction site.

[015] Regarding predefined marking points, aligned with the internal alveoli, for electrical / hydraulic junction boxes and the arrangement of electrical and / or hydraulic finishes, the installation of electrical and hydraulic systems is facilitated and standardized, eliminating the need for imprecise manual measurements and drilling. It significantly reduces construction time, as installers already find exact reference points for drilling and duct placement. It avoids rework and waste of materials, as prior alignments minimize errors and subsequent adjustments. It improves the organization and planning of the work, allowing electrical and hydraulic designs to be more predictable and optimized. It increases safety during installation, preventing accidental damage to the internal structures of the panel during drilling.

[016] The modular wall panel for civil construction, the subject of this patent document, is best understood through the detailed description presented below, together with the attached figures, given by way of example and illustration, so that a person skilled in the art may understand and put into practice the improvements now explained. [022] In reference to figures 1, 2 and 3, presented by way of illustration, the modular wall panel(100) for civil construction, object of this patent document, is made with a lightweight concrete core(101), with varying dimensions, but preferably in the range of 300cm x 50cm x 10cm (length x width x thickness). This region of the core(101) has internal longitudinal alveoli(102) for weight reduction and passage of installations.

[023] The panel(100) has an outer surface(103) that surrounds the core(101) on each side, and is the area that will receive the paint, or other type of finish (ceramic coating for example, or other coating); the finish of this surface(103) is preferably in plaster. The plaster finish of the surface(103) is evident and obvious in this application, since it is already a known composition widely used as a finish for cementitious walls, and also because it has a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to the core which is made of concrete. In this way, the occurrence of cracks and / or fissures in the long term is avoided.

[024] Along each of the lateral faces of the panel(100) corresponding to its thickness, a recessed fitting system(104) is provided on one side and a raised fitting (105) on the other, as illustrated in figure 2, which allows the assembly of Petition 870250008170, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 12 / 24 7 / 10 panels(100) in male-female interlocking format, precise and secure.

[025] In the lower region of the surface(103), along its width, the panel(100) has a recessed area(105) that facilitates the installation of skirting boards, illustrated in figure 1, guaranteeing precise positioning, without the need for additional cuts, and ensuring ease of finishing. This recessed area(105) is provided in at least one of the surfaces(103).

[026] Internally to the panel(100), at each of the two lateral ends corresponding to its length, a structure(106) is arranged longitudinally, preferably in truss form; figure 2 shows a cross-section cut A - A' of the panel(100) in which it is possible to understand the positioning of the said truss structure(106), in which it is arranged perpendicular to the surfaces(103).

[027] Figure 3 illustrates the structure(106), in isolation, for the purpose of better understanding its configuration; the structure(106) comprises two straight, parallel metal bars, and a third bar that has bends so as to be tangent to either one straight bar or another straight bar, forming fixing points(106'). At these fixing points(106'), the bars are preferably fixed by welding. Said longitudinal structures(106) structurally reinforce the panel(100), allowing said panel(100) to be used, in addition to walls, as a slab floor.

[028] Based on figure 1 it is possible to understand that, in at least one of the surfaces(103) there are marking points(107), which are recesses, or protrusions, pre Petition 870250008170, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 13 / 24 8 / 10 defined, and visually perceived, comprising a certain alignment with the alveoli (102), which serve to facilitate perforations for the accommodation of junction boxes for electrical and hydraulic systems. In figure 2 the marking points (107) are shown as being protrusions, being a form of their arrangement.

[029] These marking points(107) are a novelty that facilitates the installation of electrical and hydraulic systems within modular construction. They consist of visible and strategically positioned references on the external surface(103) of the panel(100); these marking points(107) provide, in some way, alignments with the internal alveoli, allowing direct drilling in ideal locations for the passage of pipes and the installation of junction boxes. These marking points(107) can be marked at the factory by means of: a) Discreet reliefs or recesses in the concrete, indicating the exact position of the perforations; b) Laser marking or resistant paint to facilitate visualization by the installers; c) Pre-molded grooves or cavities that serve as guides for drills or cutting tools.

[030] The arrangement of these marking points(107) ensures greater precision in drilling and less damage to the panel structure(100) as a whole. Allowing the installation of junction boxes for switches, sockets, hydraulic pipes and lighting points in an organized manner. Modular configuration, adaptable to different standards of electrical and hydraulic installations according to the requirements of the work. Possibility of customization, allowing manufacturers to supply panels with specific markings according to the architectural project. Petition 870250008170, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 14 / 24 9 / 10

[031] The arrangement of these marking points(107) also adds numerous advantages, some of which have already been mentioned, such as reduced installation time, as installers do not need to manually measure or test different points for drilling; elimination of errors and rework, as the points are already positioned according to established electrical / hydraulic standards; greater safety on the job site, avoiding accidental damage to internal metal trusses or compromising the panel structure; more precise finish, allowing sockets, switches and hydraulic connections to be embedded uniformly in the panel; less waste of materials, as it avoids misaligned or poorly positioned holes.

[032] Figure 4 illustrates a second form of the internal structure (106) in which a slight hook-shaped extension (106) is provided. This second form of the structure (106) providing the hook (106) is an alternative that can serve as an auxiliary element to facilitate the lifting of the panel (100).

[033] Figure 5 illustrates the same panel(100), but containing the structure(106) with the hook-shaped extensions(106). These hooks(106), as already mentioned, are an alternative that can serve as an auxiliary element in handling the panel(100), especially for lifting it.

[034] The improvements presented in this document demonstrate that the object of the present invention incorporates innovations that significantly improve construction efficiency, making the Modular Wall Panel a more practical and technological solution for industrial, residential and commercial projects. Petition 870250008170, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 15 / 24 10 / 10

[035] The modularity of the modular wall panel(100), the subject of this document, allows adaptations to be made according to the requirements of each architectural project, without this representing a substantial innovation. Dimensional variations of the panel(100), or of its elements, such as the height of the recessed area(105), or any variation of the truss structure(106), should not be considered a technical advance, so as to mischaracterize the present invention.

[036] Similarly, variations in the number of marking points(107) or the way of marking said marking points(107) should not be considered a technical advance, so as to mischaracterize the present invention.

[037] These elements, when considered together, constitute a significant technical advance in the state of the art, providing ease of installation, ease of operation, reduction of material waste and optimization of the construction process. Thus, any attempt at superficial alteration that does not modify these fundamental principles should be considered only a technical adaptation and not an independent innovation or improvement.

[038] Finally, it is reinforced that all variations and modifications within the scope of the common technical knowledge of a specialist in the field are considered as part of the present invention, ensuring its legal protection and applicability in different modular construction scenarios.

[039] With the present description of the invented object, it is understood that such object has industrial application, novelty and inventive activity, in relation to the state of the art, so as to have merit to obtain the said patent.
