Description
Interlocking and covering system for metal roofing sheets and panels.
[001] This invention patent relates to a fitting and covering system for metal roof tiles and panels, belonging to the area of civil construction, more particularly it relates to the shaping of the tile or panel, with trapezoidal overlapping ridges and trapezoidal fixing ridges that allow the fixing screws to be hidden, using pressure fittings, avoiding direct contact of water with the screws, thus eliminating the possibility of infiltration into the roof. In the case of a trapezoidal fixing ridge in the central region of the tile, this will be covered by an overlapping layer. STATE OF THE ART
[002] Metal roofing sheets / panels are widely known, which may or may not have thermal insulation (see figures 16 and 17). However, these metal sheets / panels are fixed by screws that are visible and, consequently, are in direct contact with rainwater. Therefore, due to both incorrect installation and the length of time the screws' sealing rubbers end up breaking, deteriorating, or drying out, causing water infiltration through these screws and resulting in chronic problems for the building.
[003] Thus, the great challenge is to find a way to avoid such infiltrations and in this sense, although not of particular relevance, we highlight as representative of the state of the art, the document BR102020009172-7, published on 11 / 23 / 2021, referring to “SYSTEM FOR FIXING ROOF TILES TO BATTENS OF A ROOF STRUCTURE THROUGH A NON-PERFORATING FIXING MEANS AND WITH DOUBLE ANCHORAGE TO THE CONTACT SURFACES Petition 870250008366, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, p. 8 / 30 2 / 6 "ROOF TILE / BATTENS AND THEIR FIXING PROCESS", where according to its summary we have: "ROOF TILE FIXING SYSTEM TO BATTENS OF A ROOF STRUCTURE THROUGH A NON-PERFORATING FIXING MEANS AND WITH DOUBLE ANCHORING TO THE CONTACT SURFACES OF THE ROOF TILE / BATTENS AND THEIR FIXING PROCESS."Represented by an inventive solution that finds significant benefit in the industrial sector of civil building construction, particularly useful when applied to roof structures, more specifically applied to a system for fixing tiles (Te) onto battens (Ri) arranged on rafters, these tiles being of the corrugated type, where a new system for fixing tiles (Te) to battens was conceived, composed of a crest (Te1) of the body (Te1) of the tile (Te) + fixing means (Fi) + area of interest (Ai) of the surface of the body (Ri1) of the batten (Ri), where this fixing means (Fi) is formed by at least four laminar layers, being a first (Fi1) of adhesive material, a second (Fi2) structural layer of polymeric material, a third (Fi3) identical to the first (Fi1) and a fourth laminar layer (Fi4) of natural material derived from cellulose.
[004] However, the object described above, despite eliminating the use of screws, which would prevent leaks, ends up being a fragile and expensive solution, since fixing by layers of adhesive materials, in addition to not guaranteeing a lasting fixation, ends up greatly increasing the cost of the work and the constant need for maintenance, as well as not allowing reuse in the case of tile replacement. OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
[005] Given the infiltration problem identified in the state of the art, for which there is still no viable solution, the present invention was developed, which aims to present a solution. Petition 870250008366, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 9 / 30 3 / 6 extremely cheap and efficient, without altering the conventional method of fixing tiles with screws, ensuring only that they remain hidden and protected from rainwater or eventual cleaning of the roof, solving the aforementioned inconveniences, in addition to providing other advantages resulting from its design. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[006] The metal roofing fitting and covering system comprises a metal roofing sheet with or without thermal insulation, shaped to form trapezoidal projections at the ends, one trapezoidal projection for mounting and one trapezoidal projection for fixing, where the trapezoidal projection for mounting is shaped to form two triangular protrusions for pressure fitting, while the trapezoidal projection for fixing is shaped to form two triangular projections to receive the pressure fitting and on the upper face is provided with a channel that receives the holes for fixing with screws. DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[008] As shown in figure 1, the metal roofing fitting and covering system comprises a metal roofing sheet (1), equipped in the region Petition 870250008366, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, p. 11 / 30 5 / 6 central (RC) ribbed (11), with or without thermal coating (RT), shaped to form trapezoidal projections at the ends, with a trapezoidal projection for mounting (12) on one side and a trapezoidal mounting projection (13) on the other side, where the trapezoidal projection for mounting (12) is shaped to form two protrusions (121) for press fitting, a flat horizontal wall (122) and the outer end (123), straight and inclined outwards, while the trapezoidal mounting projection (13) is shaped to form two projections (131) to receive the press fitting, on the upper face of a channel (132) that receives the hole for fixing through the screw (P) and the outer end (133) ends in a flange (134).
[009] According to figures 2 to 8, when the metal tile (1) is wider, it will have at least one fixing protrusion (13) in the central region (RC), which receives the fitting of the metal cover (2), shaped to form two protrusions (21) for pressure fitting, a flat horizontal wall (22) and the outer ends (23), straight and inclined outwards.
[010] According to figures 9 to 13, optionally the trapezoidal projection of the remount (12) will be provided with an outer end (124), curved inwards and in the same way the metal cover (2) will be provided with outer ends (24) curved inwards.
[011] According to figure 14, the metal tile (1) will optionally be equipped in the central region (RC) with at least one fixing protrusion (13) and at least two conventional trapezoidal protrusions (14). HOW THE INVENTION WORKS
[012] According to figure 15, the assembly of the metal roof tiles (1) becomes very simple and efficient, where in the conventional way they are Petition 870250008366, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, p. 12 / 30 6 / 6 assembled, with the screws (P) fixed along the channels (132) of the trapezoidal fixing protrusion (13) which receives the fitting of the trapezoidal mounting protrusion (12) which is fitted by pressure through the protrusions (121) on the protrusions (131).
[013] If the metal tile (1) is wider and has at least one trapezoidal fixing protrusion (13) in the central region (RC), it will receive the screws (P) and the press-fit of the metal cover (2) in the same way (see figure 7).
[014] In this way the screws (P) will not have any direct contact with water, thus preventing future leaks in the building, either due to wear of the screw sealing rubber or poor installation, through the holes of these screws. ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
[015] The interlocking and overlapping system in metal roofing thus obtained offers the following advantages: - Protects the screws from contact with water; - It will eliminate the chronic problem of leaks from the screw holes; - It protects the screws without the need to alter the conventional way of fixing the tiles; and - It solves the problem of the state of the art with a simple and efficient solution.
[016] The scope of this invention patent, therefore, should not be limited to construction details, but rather only to the terms defined in the claims and their equivalents.
