1 / 4 PROCESS APPLIED TO LANDFILL LEACHATE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BIODEGRADABLE DETERGENT.

[001] The present invention relates to a chemical recycling and treatment process to which landfill leachate (1) is subjected, transforming this residue into biodegradable detergent (7), which is a versatile sanitizing agent with application in different sectors of human activity.

[002] The invention in question is used in industrial cleaning of floors, walls, industrial machinery and equipment, removing heavy soiling and oil and grease residue; in urban cleaning of streets, squares, public areas and other urban areas, removing stains, dirt and residue; and in domestic cleaning of houses, apartments, offices and other domestic areas, providing deep and effective cleaning.

[003] Landfill leachate (1) is a dark, viscous, strong-smelling liquid residue resulting from biological, chemical and physical processes during the decomposition of organic matter present in waste deposited in a Class II Landfill.

[004] Detergents are substances or preparations considered sanitizing products, which are applied to objects, fabrics, inanimate surfaces and various environments, for the purpose of cleaning and preservation.

[005] In the state of the art, five documents were found, where: document PI 1106125-1 proposes a process for treating solid waste and the product thus obtained, from the sorting of inorganic matter for subsequent recycling and the conversion of organic matter into charcoal, through a pyrolysis reaction in at least one pyrolytic reactor and the collection and treatment of leachate from the organic matter, as well as the collection and treatment of the gases generated, with their subsequent release into the environment; document BR 10 2017 012123-2 refers to a leachate treatment system for landfills and sewage treatment systems, which after undergoing filtration stages acquires the physical and mechanical characteristics of "blocks" or "gravel", which allows its use in various types of segments in addition to preventing this untreated waste from being discharged into rivers, thus avoiding Petition 870250012105, dated 02 / 14 / 2025, page 14 / 28 2 / 4 thus the contamination of the soils; the document BR 10 2021 004721-6 refers to a process for treating leachate from industrial and municipal landfills, to precipitate, carbonate, sediment, oxidize, filter and centrifuge the sludge residue generated in the landfills, without the use of polymers, where the solid material obtained will be used for the manufacture of concrete and red ceramic pavers and the water will be filtered and discharged into an aquatic environment;Brazilian patent BR 10 2022 022622-9 refers to a process for treating leachate from industrial and municipal landfills, to alkalize, precipitate, oxidize, and dewater the sludge residue generated in landfills, and Brazilian patent BR 10 2023 018174-0 refers to the preparation of an acidic aqueous solution for the treatment of domestic effluents and leachate, acting to reduce the organic load, remove metals, and form low-moisture sludge that can be dried in a drying bed without additives; however, neither describes a process or generates a product like the one described in the invention presented herein.

[006] The aforementioned chemical recycling and treatment process applied to landfill leachate (1) transforms it into an excipient and base vehicle (5) for the manufacture of biodegradable detergent (7), thus contributing to the reduction of pollution, environmental contamination and contemplating the circular economy.

[007] Recycling and production is carried out by adding / mixing specific reagents in the field of the art that emulsify and stabilize (4) the chemical components, especially the Ammonium Hydroxide present in the landfill leachate (1) transforming this residue into a base (5) for detergent (7).

[008] After emulsification / stabilization (4), saponaceous substances, surfactants, pH controllers, thickeners, moisturizers, dyes, fragrances and other similar substances (6) within the scope of the art are added to the base (5) generated with the leachate from the sanitary landfill (1) to complete the process, generating a biodegradable detergent (7) that is slightly ammoniacal with excellent cleaning power.

[009] The chemical process of recycling and treating landfill leachate (1), transforming this leachate into biodegradable detergent (7), Petition 870250012105, dated 02 / 14 / 2025, page 15 / 28 3 / 4 involves steps, carefully controlled to ensure the efficiency and safety (8) of the product.

[010] And for a perfect understanding of its processing, it will be explained and illustrated, through the flowchart in Figure 1, attached, with references, as follows:

[011] First stage: The landfill leachate (1) is transported to the receiving plant (2) and subjected to a filtration process (3) to remove coarse solids.

[012] Second stage: Specific chemicals from the art domain are added to the landfill leachate (1), which emulsify and stabilize (4) its components, transforming it into a base (5) for the production of biodegradable detergent (7).

[013] Third stage: Saponaceous substances, pH controllers, thickeners, moisturizers, colorants, fragrances and other related components (6) of the art domain are added to the base (5) to create a high quality biodegradable detergent (7).

[014] Fourth stage: The biodegradable detergent (7) produced is subjected to rigorous quality tests to guarantee safety and efficiency standards (8).

[015] The chemical recycling and treatment process to which landfill leachate (1) is subjected, transforming this waste into biodegradable detergent (7), represents a promising innovation, since it significantly reduces the risk of soil and water pollution, protecting the environment and human health; promotes the circular economy, converting waste into a value-added product, mitigating the environmental impacts associated with the disposal of this waste, reducing the need for extraction of natural resources; reduces the costs of treatment and final disposal of waste, in addition to generating revenue from the sale of biodegradable detergent (7); the technology contributes to environmental sustainability, promoting the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the efficient use of resources.

[016] The chemical recycling and treatment process, which is subjected to Petition 870250012105, dated 02 / 14 / 2025, page 16 / 28 4 / 4 landfill leachate (1), represents an innovative and sustainable solution for the treatment of these wastes, with significant socio-environmental benefits.

[017] With investments in research to improve this process, appropriate public policies and the support of society, this technology can become a fundamental tool to promote the circular economy, protect the environment and ensure a more sustainable future.

[018] In this way, providing an extremely useful destination for landfill leachate (1), without soil contamination, reducing pollution, contemplating the circular economy and effectively collaborating with the environment, this process, not previously understood in the state of the art, falls within the criteria that define the invention patent and its claims will be described below.
