Description
/ 4 SYSTEM FOR COLLECTION, TRANSPORT, STORAGE / DISPOSAL OF ORGANIC WASTE IN MIXED-USE BUILDINGS
[001] The present invention relates to a mechanized and automated system designed to collect, transport, store and dispose of drained / dehydrated and / or dry and compacted organic food waste in mixed-use buildings. Connected directly to the waste generation and / or processing source, the system, composed of a set of ducts, connections, valves and accessories, is positioned and designed to receive and convey the waste to the storage area and subsequently forwarded for final disposal. Current state of the art
[002] Currently, the system for dewatering, compacting, and packaging residential, commercial, and / or industrial organic waste is already known, the subject of Patent Letter BR 10 2016 020453-4, from the same applicant, characterized by a set of mechanized and automated equipment designed to receive, fragment, dewater, compact, and package pre-consumption organic food waste – any and all residues of animal or vegetable origin produced during food preparation – and post-consumption waste – any and all residues of animal or vegetable origin discarded as leftovers after food preparation or meals, in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Therefore, the current state of the art presents a result adequate to its purpose: to fragment, dewater, compact, and package residential, commercial, and industrial organic waste.Current techniques facilitate the proper processing and disposal of organic waste in mixed-use properties, where the generated organic matter, after being fragmented, dewatered, compacted, and packaged, goes to its final destination – composting / fertilization – or is directed to urban waste collection by specialized companies. Petition 870250017446, dated 06 / 03 / 2025, page 4 / 12 / 4 Problems of the current state of the art
[003] However, in the current technique, when the organic waste fragmentation, dewatering, compaction and packaging system is used in mixed-use properties, such as residential buildings where it is common for the building to have several floors, a recurring problem is observed: all the processed organic matter, even though its volume is significantly reduced and it is packaged in its own packaging, odorless and leak-free, must be sent to the garbage container, usually located on the ground floor of mixed-use units. Therefore, there is a need for the removal, accommodation, disposal / destination of this packaging, containing waste, through human action - from each floor to the collection point, usually located on the ground floor. Proposed Solutions
[004] Contrary to the above, the object of the invention, a mechanized and automated system designed to collect, transport, store and dispose of drained / dehydrated and / or dry and compacted organic food waste in mixed-use buildings, eliminates the need for human action to transport the organic waste to the garbage container, normally located on the ground floor of mixed-use residential units, being conveyed, through free fall, by gravity, from each floor to the collection point. Contrary to the current state of the art, the system, object of this patent, eliminates the need to use packaging for prior accommodation of the processed material in the environments that generate this waste. The system, which is the subject of the invention, will be connected directly to the discharge of the fragmentation, dewatering, compaction and packaging system for residential, commercial and / or industrial organic waste, which is the subject of Patent Letter BR 10 2016 020453-4, from the same applicant, without altering the nature of the aforementioned patent. Processors (5 and 6), kitchen sink (7), collection point (8) and mixed-use buildings (9) are represented in this view, but are not part of this invention. Description of the invention
[006] The present invention relates to a mechanized and automated system designed to collect, transport, store and dispose of drained / dehydrated and / or dry and compacted organic food waste in mixed-use buildings, eliminating the need for human intervention in waste disposal. It is conveyed by free fall, by gravity, from each floor to the collection point. The system, the subject of this patent, eliminates the need for packaging to pre-contain the processed material in the environments that generate this waste. Connected directly to the waste generation / processing source (5), the system, composed of a set of ducts (1), designed according to the needs of each building, will collect and direct the waste, connections (2), valves (3) and accessories (4), positioned and connected to the fragmentation, drainage, compaction and packaging system for residential, commercial and / or industrial organic waste.Petition 870250017446, dated 06 / 03 / 2025, page 6 / 12 / 4, subject of Patent Letter BR 10 2016 020453-4 (5), from the same applicant, designed to receive and conduct the waste to the temporary storage area (8), normally located on the ground floor of mixed / multifamily residential units, and subsequently forwarded for final disposal. As already highlighted, the system, subject of the invention, will not detract from the aforementioned patent, System for fragmentation, dewatering, compaction and packaging of residential, commercial and / or industrial organic waste, subject of the Patent Letter, already issued by INPI, BR 10 2016 020453-4, from the same applicant. However, aiming to solve the problem of the current state of the art: the need to remove, accommodate, dispose of / destination of this packaging, containing waste, through human action, from the point of generation of the waste in the domestic, commercial or industrial environment - to the point of final destination - appropriate location, within mixed-use buildings, normally located on the ground floor, or in an external location - it will be necessary to include a System for fragmentation, dewatering, compaction and packaging of organic waste (6) with increased waste processing capacity compared to others, installed in mixed-use buildings (5).This inclusion will allow for the processing of all generated organic matter, ensuring the efficiency and fulfillment of the objective of the entire described process - collection, transport, storage and disposal of all waste produced - and promoting the disposal / management of waste without the need for human intervention until the final collection point, carried out by specialized agents.
