Description

/ 6 “TOOL TO AID IN COOKING FOOD.” TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[001] This invention patent relates to a tool to aid in cooking food, which falls within the technical field of utensils for preparing and cooking food, especially those that require specific positioning for better heat distribution during the cooking process. This cooking tool has innovative and simplified characteristics, particularly because it is formed by a support with a fold made of rigid and fire-resistant material, such as stainless steel, iron, aluminum, or other material. The tool also includes a handle in the form of an elongated rod with a knob. This folded support forms a barrier with a main base and angled wall for positioning and stabilizing the food to be cooked, such as meats, vegetables, and others, improving the quality of the culinary preparation. HISTORY OF THE INVENTION

[002] In the world of kitchen utensils, tools for cooking food play a fundamental role in achieving satisfactory culinary results, especially when it comes to foods that release liquids or fat during preparation. The utensils available for preparing foods such as grilled meats or barbecue grills or similar often do not offer adequate positioning of the food.

[003] Most conventional supports or skewers do not allow you to tilt the food in a way that exposes one of its edges upwards, which can be desirable to ensure crispness and caramelization.

[004] Another recurring problem with prior art utensils is the difficulty of cleaning and the lack of versatility, since many are made in single pieces and are difficult to disassemble. This can hinder both cleaning and storage, as well as limiting the adaptability of Petition 870250084100, dated 09 / 18 / 2025, page 5 / 22 / 6 utensil for different types and sizes of food.

[005] In view of these limitations, the Applicant noted the need for a cooking tool that combines stability, proper food positioning and ergonomic handling.

[006] Therefore, the present invention proposes an innovative solution that overcomes the constructive and functional limitations observed in prior art utensils. State of the Art Analysis

[007] Research conducted in specialized databases revealed documents relating to tools to aid in cooking food, such as document no. BR 202014004501-0, which refers to a portable support for holding and positioning barbecue skewers and similar items. Central holes allow for the support of various types, models, and sizes of skewers, and its preferably octagonal shape allows the skewer to be placed in various positions and sides near the fire. The support provides support for the skewer and allows the food to be cooked evenly, preventing one side from burning more than the other.

[008] Document No. MU 8601876-0 deals with a portable baking tray comprising a circular body with a circular hole in its lower part and this with an extended rim for retaining liquids. A conical circular heat diffuser projects over this hole, receiving these circular holes on its upper side. The body of the baking tray has a recess for fitting a pan and also a complementary rack to fit over the recess. On the upper edge of the baking tray there is a concave recess for water collection; inside this recess there are some cone-shaped elevations to raise the pizza pan and allow the passage of hot air to the upper part of the baking tray. A rack for greasy foods will be supported on this concave recess; the baking tray has a lid of the same shape to retain heat. Petition 870250084100, dated 09 / 18 / 2025, page 6 / 22 / 6 inside. The lid also has two side handles to allow it to be turned over, transforming it into a pan for paella and other dishes. On the side of the baking pan there are two side handles for handling; the steamer pot, when placed on the recess, transforms into a fondue pot. The baking pan receives a complementary lid with a circular handle to allow the passage of hot air. As a complement to the baking pan, a stone is added in place of the pizza pan and grill, for baking pizza and other foods. In the case of roasting meat (barbecue), the diffuser is removed and another conical diffuser is placed under the grill.

[009] Thus, it is a fact that the documents cited in the paragraphs above, despite belonging to the same field of application, do not present any of the characteristics of the object now improved, thus guaranteeing that it meets the legal requirements for patentability. OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[010] The objective of this invention is to present a tool to aid in cooking food by incorporating a folded support associated with a rod with an incorporated handle that provides stability for placing food on griddles or grills, especially cuts of meat, vegetables, bread and others, as the food is positioned on the griddle or griddle anchored laterally to the support of the tool in question, promoting healthier and more uniform cooking.

[011] It is also an objective of this invention to present a tool to aid in cooking food that overcomes the limitations of conventional supports and utensils, guaranteeing optimized positioning of the food during preparation, particularly meats that need to be kept in constant contact with the heat / fire during cooking, or meats that need uniform searing.

[012] Another objective of this invention is to provide an aid tool in Petition 870250084100, dated 09 / 18 / 2025, page 7 / 22 / 6 cooking of food that offers practicality and versatility to the user through the support stand which, depending on its positioning, can even be used as a "plate" to support the food horizontally, thus facilitating the adaptation of the utensil to different types of food.

[013] Another objective of this invention is to present a tool to aid in cooking food whose simplified characteristics facilitate hygiene, as well as storage and transport.

[014] The proposed configuration allows the tool to be used on different cooking equipment, various grills, griddles or even on stovetops, expanding its versatility of use. The resistance of the materials used ensures durability and safety, even after multiple cycles of use and washing.

[015] Therefore, the food cooking tool of the present invention presents clear functional advantages in relation to conventional utensils, stabilizes the food during cooking, in addition to facilitating cleaning and adaptation to different culinary situations. DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[029] The present invention patent refers to “FOOD COOKING AID TOOL”, it is an aid tool (100) for cooking various foods (AL), especially those prepared on grills (GL).

[030] According to the present invention, said food cooking aid tool (100) is formed by a support (S) folded to form a wall (111) and a flat base (112), made of rigid material resistant to high temperature / fire such as stainless steel, iron, anodized aluminum, high thermal resistance polymer or other related material. Said support (S) is coupled to a rod comprising a fixing end (113A) to said support (S) and which develops in an elongated form (113B) so as to receive, at the opposite end, a handling handle (114), Petition 870250084100, dated 09 / 18 / 2025, page 9 / 22 / 6 made of thermally insulating material, such as polypropylene, bakelite, silicone or wood, providing a comfortable and secure grip, even when handling the tool (100) at high temperatures.

[031] The food cooking tool (100) can be used individually with the aid of a utensil such as a fork or other (see figures 6A and 6B) stabilizing the food (AL) or in conjunction with another tool (100') mirrored in relation to the support (S) so that the walls (111) / (111') are parallel for the arrangement of the food (AL). While the bases (112) / (112') remain horizontally aligned so that they can be placed on the grill or support surface of a barbecue or similar.

[032] In another option for mounting the tool (100) (see figures 7A and 7B), the bases (112) / (112') are aligned with each other in order to compose a support plate (CP) for the overlapping of the food (AL) and cooking on the grill (GL).

[033] In a constructive variation, the tool (100”) has an 'L' shaped support (S”) formed by a wall (111”) and a flat base (112”) made of stainless steel sheet, mesh or similar material.

[034] It is understood that when the present invention is put into practice, modifications may be introduced with regard to certain details of construction and form, without departing from the fundamental principles that are clearly substantiated in the claims, it being understood that the terminology used was not intended to be limiting.
