[00100] The technical solutions provided by the examples in this disclosure may include the following beneficial effects.

[00101] In this disclosure, when the UAV determines that it has the flight path information, the UAV can generate designated event information, where the designated event information is used to characterize that the UAV has the flight path information. Thus, the base station can determine that the UAV has the flight path information according to the designated event information included in the first message. Therefore, the success rate of the base station in acquiring the flight path information is improved, which in turn improves the mobile performance of the UAV based on the flight path information.

[00102] In this disclosure, the base station receives the first message from the UAV, where the first message includes the designated event information, and the designated event information is used to characterize that the UAV has the flight path information. Then the base station determines that the UAV has the flight path information according to the designated event information. Thus, the base station's success rate in acquiring flight path information is improved, which in turn improves the UAV's mobile performance based on the flight path information.

[00121] Figure 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method of transmitting information according to an example, and Figure 2 is an application scenario diagram illustrating a method of transmitting information according to an example. The method of transmitting information may be applicable to a UAV. As shown in Figure 1, the method of transmitting information includes the following steps 110-130.

[00122] In step 110, in response to the UAV having flight path information, designated event information is generated. The designated event information indicates that the UAV has flight path information.

[00123] In the examples in this disclosure, a UAV flight mode generally includes a fixed mode, that is, an operator can plan the UAV's flight route information in a controller, so that the controller does not have to control the UAV all the time. For example, the controller can set the flight route information for the UAV in an application. Furthermore, in fixed mode, the UAV can fly autonomously based on the flight route information it receives. After obtaining the flight route information, the base station can predict which base stations the UAV will pass by. In this way, the UAV's mobility is improved.

[00124] In this mode, by determining that the UAV itself has flight route information, the UAV can generate designated event information, so as to inform the base station that the UAV has flight route information through the designated event information.

[00125] In step 120, the designated event information is added to a first message.

[00126] In the examples in this publication, the first message Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, p. 25 / 105 14 / 36 can be used to carry the designated event information.

[00127] In step 130 the first message is sent to a base station, so that the base station determines that the UAV has the flight path information according to the designated event information included in the first message.

[00128] In an exemplary application scenario, as shown in Figure 2, the application scenario includes a UAV and a base station. The base station is a base station on a cellular network that provides a current service to the UAV. When the UAV determines that the UAV itself has flight route information, designated event information is generated, where the designated event information indicates that the UAV has the flight route information; then, the UAV adds the designated event information to a first message and sends the first message to the base station. Upon receiving the first message, the base station can determine that the UAV has the flight route information according to the designated event information included in the first message.

[00129] As can be seen from the example, by determining that the UAV has the flight route information, the UAV can generate the designated event information, where the designated event information characterizes that the UAV has the flight route information. The designated event information is added to the first message, and the first message is sent to the base station. Thus, the base station can determine that the UAV has the flight route information according to the designated event information included in the first message. Therefore, the success rate of the base station in acquiring the flight route information is improved, which in turn improves the mobile performance of the UAV based on the flight route information.

[00130] In one example, the first message in step 130 might Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 26 / 105 15 / 36 include the first Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling and the first RRC signaling may include a first information element to carry the designated event information.

[00131] In the examples in this disclosure, the UAV may be in an inactive state. During the process of establishing an RRC connection with the base station, i.e., the change from an inactive state to a connected state, the UAV may inform the base station, via the first RRC signal, of designated event information representing that the UAV has flight path information.

[00132] In addition, if the first message also includes flight route information, in addition to the first information element carrying the designated event information, the first message may also include an information element carrying the flight route information.

[00133] As can be seen in the example, during the process of establishing the RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the designated event information from the UAV along with the flight path information can be reported to the base station via the first RRC signal, which makes it easier for the base station to know if the UAV has the flight path information during the process of establishing the RRC connection with the UAV. Thus, the reliability of information transmission is improved.

[00134] In one example, the first RRC signal may include, but is not limited to, at least one of these:

[00135] RRC connection reconfiguration complete signaling (e.g., RRCConnectionReconfigurationComplete);

[00136] Complete signaling of RRC connection reestablishment (e.g., RCConnectionReestablishmentComplete);

[00137] Full RRC connection resumption signaling (by Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 27 / 105 16 / 36 example, RRCConnectionResumeComplete); or

[00138] Complete RRC connection setup signaling (e.g., RCConnectionSetupComplete).

[00139] In addition, the first information element may include an available flight path information element (e.g., FlightPathInformationAvailable). The available flight path information element may be an information element defined specifically for UAVs.

[00140] As seen from the example, the first specified RRC signaling can be used to inform the base station about the designated event information from the UAV having flight path information, thus improving the efficiency of information transmission.

[00141] In one example, the first message in step 130 may also include UAV flight path information. UAV flight path information may include many contents, such as coordinate points on a UAV flight path, etc.

[00142] In the examples in this disclosure, when the UAV determines that the UAV itself has the flight path information and informs the base station of this event via the first message, the UAV can also add the UAV's flight path information directly to the first message. Therefore, upon learning of the event that the UAV possesses the flight path information, the base station can also directly acquire the UAV's flight path information from the first message.

[00143] It can be seen from the examples that the first message can also include the UAV's flight path information, which makes it easier for the base station to obtain the flight path information from the first message directly, thus improving the UAV's mobile performance based on the flight path information. Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, p. 28 / 105 17 / 36

[00144] Figure 3 is a flowchart illustrating another method of information transmission according to an example. The information transmission method can be applied to a UAV. This method is based on the method shown in Figure 1, in which a UAV can provide flight route information to a base station in response to a request from the base station. As shown in Figure 3, the information transmission method includes the following steps 310-330.

[00145] In step 310, a second message is received from the base station. The second message includes request information to obtain flight path information from the UAV.

[00146] In the examples in this disclosure, after the base station determines that the UAV has flight path information, the base station may or may not need to obtain the flight path information. Furthermore, when the base station determines that flight path information is needed, the base station requests the flight path information from the UAV via the second message. Consequently, in response to receiving the second message from the base station, the UAV may determine that the base station should obtain the flight path information according to the second message. In this case, the UAV may report the flight path information to the base station, which facilitates the base station improving the UAV's mobility based on the flight path information.

[00147] In step 320, a third message is generated based on the second message. The third message includes the UAV's flight path information.

[00148] In step 330, the third message is sent to the base station, so that the base station obtains the UAV's flight path information from the third message.

[00149] As seen in the example, when the second message from the base station is received, the third message is generated accordingly. Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 29 / 105 18 / 36 the second message, where the third message includes the UAV's flight path information. And then the third message is sent to the base station, so that the base station can obtain the UAV's flight path information from the third message. Thus, the UAV's mobility is improved according to the flight path information, and the feasibility of information transmission is enhanced.

[00150] In one example, the second message in step 310 may include a second RRC signal, and the second RRC signal may include a second information element to carry request information from the base station.

[00151] As seen from the example, in a process of establishing an RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the information requested from the base station can be obtained through the second RRC signaling, thus improving the reliability of information transmission.

[00152] In one example, the second RRC signaling includes a terminal information request signaling (e.g., UEInformationRequest) and the second information element includes a flight path information request element (e.g., FlightPathInformationReq).

[00153] It can be seen from the example that the base station request information can be sent to the UAV via the terminal information request signaling, thereby improving the accuracy of information transmission.

[00154] In one example, the third message in step 320 may include a third RRC signal, and the third RRC signal may include a third information element to carry UAV flight path information.

[00155] It can be seen from the example that in a process of establishing an RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 30 / 105 19 / 36 UAV flight path information can be sent to the base station via the third RRC signaling, thus improving the reliability of information transmission.

[00156] In one example, the third RRC signaling includes terminal information response signaling (e.g., UEInformationResponse) and the third information element includes a flight path information report element (e.g., FlightPathInformationReport).

[00157] It can be seen from the example that the UAV flight path information can be sent to the base station via the Terminal information response, thus improving the accuracy of information transmission.

[00158] Figure 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method of information transmission according to an example. The information transmission method can be applied to a base station that provides a service to a UAV. As shown in Figure 4, the information transmission method includes the following steps 410-420.

[00159] In step 410, a first message from a UAV is received. The first message includes designated event information, and the designated event information indicates that the UAV has flight path information.

[00160] In step 420, it is determined that the UAV has the flight route information according to the designated event information.

[00161] In examples from this disclosure, once the base station is aware that the UAV has flight path information, the base station can determine whether the base station itself should obtain the flight path information based on a real-world situation, so that the base station can improve the mobile performance of the UAV based on the UAV's flight path information. For example, by obtaining the flight path information, the base station can calculate which station Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, p. 31 / 105 20 / 36 base is the next possible base station for the UAV to be transferred to, and preparation for the control transfer with the next possible base station should be done in advance. Additionally, control transfer resources for the UAV can also be prepared in advance. This reduces the latency of the control transfer.

[00162] As seen from the example, the first message from the UAV is received, where the first message includes the designated event information, and the designated event information is used to characterize that the UAV has the flight route information. And then it is determined that the UAV has the flight route information according to the designated event information. Thus, the success rate of the base station in acquiring the flight route information is improved, which, in turn, improves the mobile performance of the UAV based on the flight route information.

[00163] In one example, the first message in step 410 might include the first RRC signal, and the first RRC signal might include a first information element to carry the designated event information.

[00164] In the examples in this disclosure, the UAV may be in an inactive state. During the process of establishing an RRC connection with the base station, i.e., the change from an inactive state to a connected state, the UAV may inform the base station, via the first RRC signal, of designated event information representing that the UAV has flight path information.

[00165] In addition, if the first message also includes flight route information, in addition to the first information element carrying the designated event information, the first message may also include an information element carrying the Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, p. 32 / 105 21 / 36 flight route information.

[00166] As seen from the example, during the RRC connection establishment process between the UAV and the base station, the designated event information from the UAV, which has flight route information, can be received through the first RRC signal. Thus, the base station is aware if the UAV has flight route information during the RRC connection establishment process with the UAV, which improves the reliability of information transmission.

[00167] In one example, the first RRC flag may include, but is not limited to, at least one of these:

[00168] Full RRC connection reconfiguration signaling;

[00169] Full signaling of the restoration of the RRC connection;

[00170] Full signaling of the resumption of the RRC connection; or

[00171] Full RRC connection configuration signaling.

[00172] In addition, the first information element may include an available flight route information element. The available flight route information element may be an information element specifically defined for UAVs.

[00173] As seen from the example, the first specified RRC signaling can be used to inform the base station of the designated event information from the UAV having the flight path information, thus improving the efficiency of information transmission.

[00174] Figure 5 is a flowchart illustrating another method of information transmission according to an example. The information transmission method can be applied to a base station. This method is based on the method shown in Figure 4, where the first message can also include the UAV's flight path information. As shown in Figure 5, the information transmission method further includes the following steps 510-520.

[00175] In step 510, the UAV flight path information is Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, p. 33 / 105 22 / 36 obtained from the first message. UAV flight path information can include many contents, such as coordinate points of a UAV flight path, etc.

[00176] In the examples in this disclosure, when the UAV determines that the UAV itself has the flight path information and informs the base station of this event via the first message, the UAV can also add the UAV's flight path information directly to the first message. Therefore, upon learning of the event that the UAV possesses the flight path information, the base station can also directly acquire the UAV's flight path information from the first message.

[00177] In step 520, a UAV flight path is determined based on the UAV flight path information.

[00178] As seen in the example, the first message can also include the UAV flight path information, so the UAV flight path information can be obtained from the first message. The UAV flight path is determined according to the UAV flight path information, thus improving the UAV's mobile performance based on the flight path information.

[00179] Figure 6 is a flowchart illustrating another method of information transmission according to an example. The information transmission method can be applied to a base station. This method is based on the method shown in Figure 4, where the base station requests information about the flight path of a UAV. As shown in Figure 6, the information transmission method includes the following steps 610-640.

[00180] In step 610, in response to the request to obtain flight route information, a second message is generated. The second message includes request information to obtain the flight route information. Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 34 / 105 23 / 36

[00181] In an example from this disclosure, the second message carries the request information from the base station.

[00182] In step 620, the second message is sent to the UAV.

[00183] At stage 630, a third message from the UAV is received. The third message includes the UAV's flight path information.

[00184] In step 640, a UAV flight path is determined based on the UAV flight path information.

[00185] As seen in the example, when it is determined that flight route information needs to be obtained, a second message is generated, which includes the request information to obtain the flight route information. The second message is sent to the UAV, and a third message is received, which includes the flight route information from the UAV. In this way, the base station can decide whether to require the UAV to provide the flight route information according to the actual situation. Thus, a specific need of the base station for flight route information is met, and the mobile performance of the UAV is improved based on the flight route information.

[00186] In one example, the second message in step 610 may include a second RRC signal, and the second RRC signal may include a second information element to carry request information from the base station.

[00187] As seen from the example, in a process of establishing an RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the information requested from the base station can be sent via the second RRC signaling, thus improving the reliability of information transmission.

[00188] In one example, the second RRC signaling includes terminal information request signaling and the second information element includes a route information request element. Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 35 / 105 24 / 36 flight.

[00189] It can be seen from the example that the base station request information can be sent to the UAV via the terminal information request signaling, thereby improving the accuracy of information transmission.

[00190] In one example, the third message in step 630 may include a third RRC signal, and the third RRC signal may include a third information element to carry UAV flight path information.

[00191] It can be seen from the example that in a process of establishing an RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the UAV's flight path information can be received via the third RRC signal, thus improving the reliability of information transmission.

[00192] In one example, the third RRC signaling includes terminal information response signaling and the third information element includes a flight route information reporting element.

[00193] It can be seen from the example that UAV flight path information can be received via terminal information response signaling, thus improving the accuracy of information transmission.

[00194] Figure 7 is an information interaction diagram that illustrates a method of information transmission according to an example. As shown in Figure 7, the information interaction diagram includes a UAV and a base station. An application scenario of this is that the UAV in an inactive state determines that the UAV has flight route information and then the UAV establishes an RRC connection with the base station. (1) The UAV generates designated event information, which Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 36 / 105 25 / 36 represent the UAV with flight route information. (2) The UAV adds the designated event information to the complete RRC connection configuration signaling. (3) The UAV sends the complete RRC connection configuration signaling to the base station. The complete RRC connection configuration signaling includes the designated event information. (4) The base station determines that the UAV has the flight path information based on the designated event information. (5) When the base station determines that UAV flight path information should be obtained, the base station generates terminal information request signaling. The terminal information request signaling includes a flight path information request element that carries the request information from the base station. (6) The base station sends the terminal information request signal to the UAV. The terminal information request signal includes the request information from the base station. (7) The UAV generates terminal information response signaling in accordance with the terminal information request signaling. The terminal information response signaling includes a flight route information reporting element that includes the UAV's flight route information. (8) The UAV sends terminal information response signaling to the base station. The terminal information response signaling includes the UAV's flight path information. (9) The base station determines a UAV flight path according to the flight path information.

[00195] Corresponding to the previous examples of methods of transmitting information, this disclosure also provides examples of devices for transmitting information. Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, p. 37 / 105 26 / 36

[00196] Figure 8 is a block diagram illustrating an information transmission device according to an example. The information transmission device may be applicable to a UAV and used to implement the information transmission method shown in Figure 1. As shown in Figure 8, the information transmission device may include the following modules.

[00197] A first generation 81 module is configured to, in response to the UAV having flight route information, generate designated event information, where the designated event information indicates that the UAV has flight route information;

[00198] An information addition module 82 is configured to add the designated event information to the first message.

[00199] A first transmission module 83 is configured to send the first message to a base station so that the base station determines that the UAV has the flight path information according to the designated event information included in the first message.

[00200] As can be seen from the example, when it is determined that the UAV has the flight path information, the UAV can generate the designated event information, where the designated event information characterizes that the UAV has the flight path information. The designated event information is added to the first message, and the first message is sent to the base station. Thus, the base station can determine that the UAV has the flight path information according to the designated event information included in the first message. Therefore, the success rate of the base station in acquiring the flight path information is improved, which, in turn, improves the mobile performance of the UAV based on the flight path information.

[00201] In one example, based on the device shown in the Figure Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 38 / 105 27 / 36 8, the first message includes the first RRC signaling and the first RRC signaling includes a first information element to carry the designated event information.

[00202] As can be seen in the example, during the process of establishing the RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the designated event information from the UAV along with the flight path information can be reported to the base station via the first RRC signal, which makes it easier for the base station to know if the UAV has the flight path information during the process of establishing the RRC connection with the UAV. Thus, the reliability of information transmission is improved.

[00203] In one example, based on the device shown in Figure 8, the first information element includes an available flight route information element; and the first RRC signaling may include at least one of:

[00204] Full RRC connection reconfiguration signaling;

[00205] Full signaling of the restoration of the RRC connection;

[00206] Full signaling of the resumption of the RRC connection; or

[00207] Full RRC connection configuration signaling.

[00208] As seen from the example, the first specified RRC signaling can be used to inform the base station of the designated event information from the UAV having flight route information, thus improving the efficiency of information transmission.

[00209] In one example, the first message also includes flight route information.

[00210] It can be seen from the examples that the first message can also include the UAV's flight path information, which makes it easier for the base station to obtain the flight path information from the first message directly, thus improving the UAV's mobile performance based on the flight path information. Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 39 / 105 28 / 36

[00211] In one example, based on the device shown in Figure 8 as shown in Figure 9, the device also includes the following modules.

[00212] A message reception module 91 is configured to receive a second message from the base station, where the second message includes request information to obtain flight route information;

[00213] A second generation 92 module is configured to generate a third message in accordance with the second message, where the third message includes the flight route information.

[00214] A second transmission module 93 is configured to send the third message to the base station so that the base station determines a flight path for the UAV according to the flight path information included in the third message.

[00215] As seen in the example, when the second message from the base station is received, the third message is generated based on the second message, where the third message includes the UAV's flight path information. Then, the third message is sent to the base station so that the base station can obtain the UAV's flight path information from the third message. Thus, the UAV's mobility is improved based on the flight path information, and the feasibility of information transmission is enhanced.

[00216] In one example, based on the device shown in Figure 9, the second message includes the second RRC signal, and the second RRC signal includes a second information element to carry the request information.

[00217] As seen from the example, in a process of establishing an RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the requested information from the base station can be acquired through the second RRC signaling, thus improving the reliability of Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 40 / 105 29 / 36 transmission of information.

[00218] In one example, the second RRC signaling includes terminal information request signaling, and the second information element includes a flight route information request element.

[00219] It can be seen from the example that the base station request information can be sent to the UAV via the terminal information request signaling, thereby improving the accuracy of information transmission.

[00220] In one example, based on the device shown in Figure 9, the third message includes the third RRC signal and the third RRC signal includes a third information element to carry the flight route information.

[00221] It can be seen from the example that in a process of establishing an RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the UAV's flight path information can be sent to the base station via the third RRC signal, thus improving the reliability of information transmission.

[00222] In one example, the third RRC signaling includes terminal information response signaling and the third information element includes a flight route information reporting element.

[00223] It can be seen from the example that the UAV flight path information can be sent to the base station via the Terminal Information Response signaling, thus improving the accuracy of information transmission.

[00224] Figure 10 is a block diagram illustrating an information transmission device according to an example. The information transmission device can be applied to a base station and used to implement the information transmission method. Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 41 / 105 30 / 36 shown in Figure 4. As shown in Figure 10, the device for transmitting information may include the following modules.

[00225] A first receiving module 101 is configured to receive a first message from a UAV, where the first message includes designated event information and the designated event information indicates that the UAV has flight path information; and

[00226] A first determination module 102 is configured to determine that the UAV has the flight path information according to the designated event information.

[00227] As seen from the example, the first message from the UAV is received, where the first message includes the designated event information, and the designated event information is used to characterize that the UAV has the flight route information. And then it is determined that the UAV has the flight route information according to the designated event information. Thus, the success rate of the base station in acquiring the flight route information is improved, which, in turn, improves the mobile performance of the UAV based on the flight route information.

[00228] In one example, based on the device shown in Figure 10, the first message includes the first RRC signaling and the first RRC signaling includes a first information element to carry the designated event information.

[00229] As seen from the example, during the RRC connection establishment process between the UAV and the base station, the designated event information from the UAV containing the flight route information can be received via the first RRC signal. Thus, the base station is aware if the UAV possesses the flight route information during the RRC connection establishment process with the UAV, which improves the reliability of information transmission.

[00230] In one example, the first piece of information includes Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, p. 42 / 105 31 / 36 an available flight route information element; and the first RRC signaling includes at least one of:

[00231] Full RRC connection reconfiguration signaling;

[00232] Full signaling of the restoration of the RRC connection;

[00233] Full signaling of the resumption of the RRC connection; or

[00234] Full RRC connection configuration signaling.

[00235] As seen from the example, the first specified RRC signaling can be used to inform the base station of the designated event information from the UAV having flight route information, thus improving the efficiency of information transmission.

[00236] In an example, based on the device shown in Figure 10, the first message also includes flight route information and as shown in Figure 11, the device also includes the following modules.

[00237] A 111 fetch module is configured to retrieve flight route information from the first message.

[00238] A second determination module 112 is configured to determine a UAV flight path according to the flight path information.

[00239] As seen in the example, the first message can also include the UAV flight path information, so the UAV flight path information can be obtained from the first message. The UAV flight path is determined according to the UAV flight path information, thus improving the UAV's mobile performance based on the flight path information.

[00240] In one example, based on the device shown in Figure 10 as shown in Figure 12, the device also includes the following modules.

[00241] A message generation module 121 is configured Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 43 / 105 32 / 36, in response to which flight route information must be obtained, generating a second message, where the second message includes request information to obtain the flight route information;

[00242] A message sending module 122 is configured to send the second message to the UAV;

[00243] A second receiver module 123 is configured to receive a third message from the UAV, where the third message includes flight route information; and

[00244] A third determination module 124 is configured to determine a UAV flight path according to the flight path information.

[00245] As seen in the example, when it is determined that flight route information needs to be obtained, a second message is generated, which includes the request information to obtain the flight route information.

[00246] In one example, based on the device shown in Figure 12, the second message includes the second RRC signal, and the second RRC signal includes a second information element to carry the request information.

[00247] As seen from the example, in a process of establishing an RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the information requested from the base station can be sent via the Petition 870250003883, dated 17 / 01 / 2025, page 44 / 105 33 / 36 second RRC signaling, thus improving the reliability of information transmission.

[00248] In one example, the second RRC signaling includes terminal information request signaling and the second information element includes a flight route information request element.

[00249] It can be seen from the example that the base station request information can be sent to the UAV via the terminal information request signaling, thereby improving the accuracy of information transmission.

[00250] In one example, based on the device shown in Figure 12, the third message includes the third RRC signal and the third RRC signal includes a third information element to carry the flight route information.

[00251] It can be seen from the example that in a process of establishing an RRC connection between the UAV and the base station, the UAV's flight path information can be received via the third RRC signal, thus improving the reliability of information transmission.

[00252] In one example, the third RRC signaling includes terminal information response signaling and the third information element includes a flight route information reporting element.

[00253] It can be seen from the example that UAV flight path information can be received via terminal information response signaling, thus improving the accuracy of information transmission.
