Description

1 / 53 “Double-sided razor cartridge, double-sided razor cartridge set and method of using a double-sided razor” CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED REQUESTS

[0001] This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 62 / 943,438, filed December 4, 2019, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present disclosure relates to shaving or depilatory devices and more particularly to a double-sided shaving or depilatory device. FUNDAMENTALS

[0003] The background information in this document below relates to the present disclosure, but is not necessarily prior to the art.

[0004] Double-sided razors incorporate blade side switching either by the user separating the cartridge from the handle, or by rotating the cartridge around a vertical axis that passes through the center of the handle. This makes it difficult for the user to switch from the first side of the cartridge to the second side and requires a lot of time. Furthermore, the blades are not flexible and therefore do not adapt to the different surfaces and contours of the user's skin, thus compromising shaving performance. Additionally, the design of the handles of such devices does not have symmetrical profiles on the sides, making it difficult to handle and shave or shave on both sides of the handle when the user shaves or shaves with the first side of the cartridge and when the user shaves or shaves with the second side of the cartridge.

[0005] There is therefore a need for a double-sided razor or shaver that overcomes the problems mentioned above.

[0006] Some of the objects of the present disclosure, at least one modality of which is satisfied in this document, are the following:

[0007] One object of the present disclosure is to provide a double-sided razor or depilatory device.

The cartridge is configured to be rotated around the first pivot and the second pivot to switch between a first side of the cartridge or a second side of the cartridge to press the cartridge to the first side or to the second side.

[0013] In one embodiment, end caps are attached to the ends of the cartridge, each of the end caps having a first groove and a second groove.

[0014] In another embodiment, the blades configured in the cartridge blade holder flex and move over different contours of the user's skin made of a resiliently deformable material.

[0015] In a preferred embodiment, pins having a serrated profile are attached to each of the first arm and the second arm, and the pin attachment area on the cartridge has a serrated profile.

[0016] In another embodiment, a deflector projects from a lower portion of the cartridge that has a smooth rounded profile or any shape or size.

[0099] Terms such as internal, external, below, underneath, inferior, above, superior and similar terms may be used in this document. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 16 / 66 10 / 53 revelation to describe relationships between different elements as shown in the Figures.

[0100] With reference to Figures 1-28, a double-sided disposable razor or shaving device or shaving device system 100 will now be described, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The double-sided disposable razor or shaving device and shaving device system 100 comprises a handle 10 extending vertically with a first side 10a and a second side 10b. The first side 10a and the second side 10b have a symmetrical profile around a vertical handle X-axis 10 passing through the center of the handle 10. This allows the same level of comfort for the user when shaving with either the 1st side of the 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d blade cartridge 40 or the 2nd side of the 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d blade cartridge 40.

[0101] The double-sided disposable razor or shaving device and shaving system 100 has arms 20a, 20b integral with the handle 10 and projecting laterally from the upper end of the handle 10 to allow the gripping of a cartridge 40 which bears blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d on both sides of the cartridge. A first pivot 21a extends horizontally from one end of the first arm 20a. The blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d configured on both sides of said cartridge 40 are made of steel and the blade holder and blades can flex and move over different contours of the user's skin, which will help to meet the irregularities of the contour of a shaved surface. Similarly, a second pivot 21b extends horizontally from one end of the second arm 20b.Both the first pivot 21a and the second pivot 21b facilitate the rotation of the cartridge 40 along a common Y-axis articulation, which deflects the cartridge 40 to the first side or to the second side of the handle 10, depending on whether the 1st side of the cartridge is being used or the 2nd side of the cartridge is being used. This allows switching between the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d arranged on the first side 10a and the blades on the second side 10b of the cartridge 40 as desired by the user. This allows for the optimal use of the double-sided disposable razor and shaving system 100, as well as making the double-sided disposable razor and shaving system 100. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 17 / 66 11 / 53 accessible. In another embodiment, arms 20a, 20b and the cartridge are detachably attached to handle 10 in a shaver or epilator system version.

[0102] A wide flexible barrier 30 is provided at the upper end of the cable 10 to prevent inadvertent switching of sides by the user. The barrier 30 projects vertically from the upper end of the cable 10. The barrier can be of any shape or size and be rigid or flexible and can be made of any material. The barrier can have a wide base or flange and a narrow top or a wide top and a narrow base and can have holes and be of any number of parts or materials. In another embodiment, the flexible barrier 30 is a narrow barrier 30 as shown in Figure 2. The barrier 30 deforms resiliently under the action of a rotating force applied by the user. In another embodiment, the barrier 30 has a smooth rounded profile to facilitate changing. The barrier can be of any shape or size and made of any material.

[0103] A deflector 60 is provided at the center of the upper end of the handle 10 in a disposable razor or depilatory version and is located at the upper end and in the middle of the rotating arms that are attached to the double-sided razor or depilatory cartridge for a razor or depilatory system where the razor cartridge is removable from the handle. The deflector may be of any shape or size and be made of any material and helps to prevent inadvertent exchange between the first side 10a and the second side 10b when the deflector 60 interacts with the barrier 30. However, when a predefined force acts on the deflector 60, the deflector 60 deforms resiliently to allow for the skewness of the sides 10a, 10b of the double-sided disposable razor or depilatory and razor or depilatory system 100 as desired by the user, as shown in Figures 1, 2, 4 and 5.Deflector 60 may be rigid and immobile, and unable to deform resiliently. The height difference between deflector 60 and barrier 30 is greater than if deflector 60 and barrier 30 were directly above each other and vertical. This longer distance between deflector 60 and barrier 30 at the vertical point when deflector 60 is above barrier 30 creates resistance. Therefore, when deflector 60 passes over barrier 30 to change the first side for shaving or waxing... Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 18 / 66 12 / 53 cartridge for the second shaving or depilating side of the cartridge, the deflector 60 interacts with the barrier 30 as it passes from the 1st shaving or depilating side to the 2nd shaving or depilating side. The barrier 30 acts as a barrier and will keep the 1st shaving or depilating side on the 1st shaving or depilating side and / or keep it on the second shaving or depilating side when the user intends to use the 1st or 2nd shaving or depilating side. In another embodiment, as shown in Figures 14-16, a cavity 62 is defined on the inner surface of each of the arms 20 to engage with the deflector at the bottom of the cartridge 40. This cavity 62 and the deflector 60 can be located anywhere on or in the shaving or depilating cartridge 40 and on or in the arms 20 and have any size, shape or design to function in the same way. Thus, when deflector 60 passes over cavity 62 to change the first shaving side of the cartridge to the second shaving side, deflector 60 interacts with cavity 62 as it passes from the first shaving side to the second shaving side. Cavity 62 acts as a barrier and will keep the first shaving side on the first shaving side and / or keep it on the second shaving side when the user intends to use the first or second shaving side. This deflector 60 and cavity 62 can be used in conjunction with the deflector 60 at the bottom of the cartridge and the barrier 30 described in this application, or one way can be used alone, or both ways. The deflector 60 and cavity 62 can be located anywhere inside or on the arms 20 or inside or on the cartridge 40 of a razor or epilator. It can have any shape or design to serve the same function. The location of deflector 60 and cavity 62 can have 2 or any number of deflectors 60 and 2 or any number of cavities 62. In one embodiment there may be 2 deflectors 60 and 1 cavity 62 and each deflector 60 may be located off-center compared to the deflector 60 shown in Figure 14. The off-center location of deflector 60 can be any position and allows cartridge 40 to be in the correct position, angle or degree relative to the handle so that the user can begin shaving or epilating the 1st shaving or epilating side of the cartridge. When the blades are dull and the user wants to start using the 2nd shaving or epilating side of the cartridge, the user can move or press the cartridge in the opposite direction or position from the 1st shaving or epilating side. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 19 / 66 13 / 53 cartridge 40 and the 1st position of the deflector 60 will pass the cavity 62 or barrier and then, while still tilting in the opposite direction of the shaving or epilating side 1, will pass the 2nd position of the deflector 60 and now the device cartridge will be at the perfect angle, position or degree in relation to the handle so that the 2nd shaving or epilating side can be in the correct position and be used. These deflectors 60 and cavities 62 help to keep the cartridge in the 1st shaving or epilating side or in the 2nd shaving or epilating side and help to keep the 40 razor cartridge in the correct position for shaving or epilating using the 1st shaving or epilating side of the cartridge and using the 2nd shaving or epilating side of the cartridge 40. The deflector 60 and the cavity 62 or barrier can have any shape or design or be any type of material. In yet another embodiment, as shown in Figures 17 and 18, each of the arms 20 is configured without any cavity and can function and have all the characteristics described for Figures 14, 15 and 16 above.

[0104] In another embodiment, the rotating arm 20 and cartridge 40 are configured to be at the correct initial angle / position to begin shaving or epilating, which assists and allows easy attachment of the handle 10 and cartridge 40 for the consumer. The engagement between the cavity on each side of cartridge 40 shown in Figure 17 and the pin of the rotating arm shown in Figure 18 can have many benefits for the double-sided shaver or epilator and Figure 11 and Figures 14-18. The internal cavity may have pins, protrusions or cavities that can interact with pins, ratchets, gears, protrusions or cavities on the rotating arm pin that enters the cavity at each end of the cartridge. These pins, ratchets, gears, protrusions or cavities may be at any degree within a 360-degree radius on the pin and cavity and there may be one in any number. This will prevent the rotating arm from freely turning from side to side and allow for easier connection for the consumer. These pins, ratchet, gears, cavities or protrusions on the rotating arm and end cavities on the cartridge, for example, would be in the 8 o'clock position on one side and 4 o'clock on the other side when the 40 cartridge and rotating arm are in the vertical position. Thus, when the user receives the double-sided razor or epilator cartridge, the cartridge and rotating arm will be in the 4 o'clock position and ready to be connected. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 20 / 66 14 / 53

[0105] When the first side is dull, the user can disconnect the cartridge and move the rotating arm in the opposite direction towards the 8 o'clock position, then it will pass through the pins, protrusions or cavities on the rotating arm and the end cavity of the cartridge, and the cartridge will now be in the correct position and initial angle to use the second side of the cartridge. Now the cartridge can continue to be flexible and rotating from the 8 o'clock position upwards towards the 10 or 11 o'clock position. The cartridge and rotation can flex any amount and this is only for visual reference. This method can be used for cartridges that have a deflector to pass through to change shaving or epilating sides, and this can assist the deflector and keep the cartridge at the correct initial angle / position to begin shaving or epilating using the 1st shaving or epilating side of the cartridge and the 2nd shaving or epilating side of the cartridge. This option can be used for any cartridge mentioned in this application or in previous applications.

[0106] Floating / flexible blade cartridges 40 are configured to be constructed in regular and irregular shapes. If the blade can move or be flexible within a cartridge on both sides of a double-sided razor or epilator to allow for a close and comfortable shave or epilator, this may be done with any combination described and / or with any modifications.

[0107] The double-sided disposable razor or shaving device and shaving or shaving system 100 further comprises pads 24 provided at one operating end of each of the first arm 20a and the second arm 20b. The pads 24a, 24b provide shock absorption during shaving or shaving by a user, as the sides of the cartridge 40 come into contact with the surface of the arms 20a, 20b, as shown in Figures 6-8. (Figure 6-8 does not show the cartridge 40 in contact with the arms)

[0108] The rubber on the rotating arm 20a or 20b can be of any shape or any material that is soft and provides cushioning. A type of rubber material can be chosen depending on the required density. The whole idea with rubber on the rotating arm 20a and 20b will be able to support the cartridge 40 when it is in contact with the end caps 50. Disclosed in previous applications that the end caps of Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, p. 21 / 66 15 / 53 end has arms or legs 24 c, 24 d, 24 e, 24 f at both ends where it comes into contact with two parts of the rotating arm and 24 a and 24 b Figure 6 that touch the end caps when one side is used, so when the user turns or tilts the cartridge 40 to be able to use the second side for shaving or epilating, then the other set of rubber on the rotating arm 24a and 24b is in contact with the end caps 50. This gives support during shaving or epilating so that the cartridge 40 can glide over different surfaces on the consumer's face or skin or body, but the cartridge 40 will be able to flex and move back and forth comfortably. The rubber can cover the entire rotating arm as in Figure 8 or only in sections as in Figure 7 or any part of the rotating arm 20 and the rotating arm can be made of plastic with rubber sections or it can be any type of material or combination of materials.End caps 20 and end caps 50 can be any shape, size, or design. Cushion areas can range from one to any number and can be located anywhere on the arms 20 or end caps 50.

[0109] Similarly, pads 24c, 24d, 24e, 24f are provided at the bottom of the end caps to increase shock absorption, as shown in Figures 9 and 10. The use of end caps 50 and swivel arm areas 24a and 24b eliminates the reliance on dedicated bands such as 24g which need to be provided if used with a push pin. The rubber or pad areas on end caps 50 can be of any shape, design, or any material that is soft and provides cushioning. A type of rubber material can be chosen depending on the density required. The whole idea with rubber on the end caps will be able to support the cartridge when it is in contact with the swivel arm 20. End caps 50 can have rubber or pad material, swivel arms 20 can have rubber or pad areas, or they can have rubber or pad material and the other parts can be solid and have no pad materials. In one embodiment, the end caps 50 have arms 20 at both ends where rubber 24a and 24b and rubber and pad areas are in contact with two parts of the end caps 50, 24c or 24e, which may have been of solid material or. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, p. 22 / 66 16 / 53 has cushion material. When the 1st shaving or epilating side is opaque and used, the user can turn the cartridge 40 in the opposite direction so that you can use the second shaving or epilating side of the cartridge 40. When this happens, the other set of rubber or cushion areas 24a and 24b, which are opposite sides of 24a and 24b, are in contact with two parts of the end caps 50, 24d or 24f of the end caps 50. This provides support during shaving or epilating so that the cartridge glides over different surfaces on the consumer's face, skin or body, but the cartridge will be able to flex and move back and forth comfortably. The rubber can cover the entire area of the end cap 50 as shown in Figure 10 or only be in sections as shown in Figure 9, or be anywhere on the end cap 50.The 50 end cap can be made of plastic with rubber sections, or it can be any type of material or combination of materials. The 50 end cap can be of any shape or size.

[0110] End caps 50 are attached to the ends of said cartridge 40. A first groove 52a and a second groove 52b are configured in the lower portion of each of the end caps 50 to restrict the cartridge 40 to the first side 10a or the second side 10b, thus preventing inadvertent change by the user, as well as change when desired by the deliberate application of force or pressure, as shown in Figures 19 and 20.

[0111] Figure 20 shows that an upper portion of the rotating arm 20 is pointed and that the end cap 50 or the part that holds the cartridge together at the ends and this may be part of the cartridge, it may not be an end cap 50 could be part of the cartridge design that it has the shapes that have pouches 52a and 52b and has a baffle between these two and then you have the upper portion of the rotating arm 20 and when you shave or wax with the first side, the top of the rotating arm 20 is in cavity 52a and when the user changes sides, the upper portion of the rotating arm 20 is in cavity 52b.

[0112] When the user shaves, the end caps of cartridge 40 50 and portions 24c, 24d, 24e and 24f rest against portions of the rotating arm 24a and 24b to support cartridge 40 during shaving or Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 23 / 66 17 / 53 shaving and the pouches or cavities 52a and 52b can keep the cartridge 40 on the 1st shaving side and prevent it from changing to the 2nd shaving side of the cartridge 40 until the user wants to change shaving sides. The rubber or cushion material on the end caps 5 or rotating arm 20 provides support during shaving so that the cartridge slides over different surfaces on the consumer's face, skin, or body, but the cartridge will be able to flex and move back and forth comfortably. Regarding Figure 19 and Figure 20, the design of the end caps 50 pouches and legs and rotating arm 20 can have any shape, any design, be made of any material, and have any number of parts. The end caps 50 in Figure 19 and Figure 20 may not have end caps and may be clips or parts or any design to hold any number of cartridge 40 together.

[0113] The arm pins 22 having a toothed profile as shown in Figure 11 are attached to each of said first arm 20a and said second arm 20b. This facilitates the mounting of a ratchet while the arm pins drive the pinion. Such a ratchet and pinion arrangement allows switching between the 1st shaving or depilating side and the 2nd shaving or depilating side so that the cartridge 40 does not move freely and can be controlled by the gears on the pin 22 and the pinion inside the cartridge 40 (we need to show the hole in the cartridge 40). The holes in the cartridge 40 can have one to any number of gears or deflectors, barriers or cavities that interact with the pin 22. The pin can have one to any number of gears, cavities, deflectors or barriers. The pins 22 and the cartridge pin holes 40 in the area where the pins go inside can have any shape, any design, any function and any material.Pin 22 and cartridge pin holes 40 may have deflectors, barriers, or cavities and be in the correct position so that cartridge 40 is in the ideal 1st shaving or hair removal position relative to the handle. When the user moves the cartridge from the 1st shaving or hair removal position to the 2nd shaving or hair removal position, then pin holes 22 and cartridge 40 may have deflectors, barriers, or cavities and be in the correct 2nd shaving or hair removal position so that cartridge 40 is in the ideal 2nd shaving or hair removal position relative to the handle. Pin 22 in Figure 11 shows a ratchet design for this purpose. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 24 / 66 18 / 53 the 40 cartridge can be rotated at any angle or direction relative to the handle.

[0114] In one embodiment, the double-sided razor or depilatory device 100 is of the disposable type.

[0115] In one embodiment, the double-sided razor or shaver 100 is a type of razor or shaver system in which the cartridge can be removed and replaced from the handle with a new double-sided razor or shaver cartridge.

[0116] In another embodiment, the cable is as shown in Figure 3;

[0117] The double-sided razor or epilator has floating or flexible blades (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d, 41e as shown in various embodiments shown in Figures 24-27) which can be any number of blades on each side of the razor or epilator cartridge. The flexible blades are articulated around a blade articulation axis (44) in any direction of rotation along the blade articulation axis 44. This results in upward or downward deflection of the articulating blade surfaces. The location of the blade articulation axis (44) is variable in the cartridge and designed to meet the user's needs. In another embodiment, the flexible blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d, 41e are floating blade axes that can rotate in any possible way and / or flex in any possible way within the cartridge.Flexible or floating blades attached to a blade holder may use tabs (plastic or any material) on the cartridge on one or both sides to assist in blade movement and maintain the blades in proper blade exposure and correct apparatus geometry. Flexible or floating blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d, 41e attached to a blade holder may use end caps to maintain the blades in proper blade exposure and correct apparatus geometry. The blade articulation axis (44) is provided in a blade holder (45) as shown in Figure 22. The blade holder 45 has variable geometry with respect to design, shape, size, form, angle, thickness. The blade holder 45 is made of a rigid material. Figure 23 shows the cartridge 40 having blades (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d, 41e) mounted in blade pockets (46). The 46 blade pockets are located in a variable location within the razor cartridge or. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, p. 25 / 66 19 / 53 double-sided shaving and / or end caps. These pockets 46 facilitate blade movement and maintain the blades in an ideal blade exposure and geometry configuration. The dimensions of the blade pockets (46) are such that, during blade rotation, there can be any number of blades (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d, 41e), a clearance is provided to facilitate free rotation of the blades while a user shaves. The blade pockets 46 in the cartridge or end caps can be areas where they maintain the blade in the perfect blade exposure position and allow the blade to float and move over different skin contours or skin surfaces. The dimensions of each of said blades (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d) are variable. In one embodiment as shown in Figure 27, the blades have a folded profile along the width of the blades. In another embodiment, as shown in Figure 27, the folded blades have extended edges.

[0118] The double-sided shaver or epilator (100) is configured with retaining lugs (12) which are provided on the handle (10). The retaining lugs (12) are configured to be inserted into the recess (26) provided on the rotating arms (20) as shown in Figures 26-28. This facilitates the assembly and disassembly of the cartridge 40 and the handle 10.

[0119] Changing the handle between the first shaving or epilating side 10a or the second shaving or epilating side 10b is achieved by the user without separating the cartridge 40 from the handle 10. To change the handle retention position from 10a to 10b, the user simply grasps the handle 10 in the 10a position and rotates it until the handle 10b is in the user's hand ready to use the 2nd shaving or epilating side. To change the shaving or waxing sides of cartridge 40 from the 1st shaving or waxing side to the 2nd shaving or waxing side, the user simply holds the handle and applies pressure in the direction the upper end of cartridge 40 rests on a surface and pushes so that cartridge 40 tilts from the 1st shaving or waxing side position of cartridge 40 relative to the handle to the 2nd shaving or waxing side position of cartridge 40 relative to the handle. Now cable 10b and cartridge 40 are in the correct position to begin shaving or epilating the 2nd shaving or epilating side of cartridge 40. This facilitates the rotation of cartridge 40 around the Y-axis of the first pivot 21a and the second pivot 21b. As a result of this rotation, the barrier 30 comes into contact with the deflector 60 and, as a. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 26 / 66 20 / 53 The intensity of the pressure applied to the user increases even further, a fitting action occurs which results in the change between the first side 10a and the second side 10b of the cartridge 40.

[0120] In another embodiment for changing the shaving or depilating sides of cartridge 40 from the 1st shaving or depilating side to the 2nd shaving or depilating side, the user simply holds the handle with one hand and can hold the ends of cartridge 40 or the end caps 50 and apply pressure manually in the opposite direction in which cartridge 40 is angled or tilted (1st shaving or depilating side position) until cartridge 40 is angled and tilted in the opposite direction of the 1st shaving or depilating side position, so that it can be in the 2nd shaving or depilating side position relative to the handle. Now the handle 10b and cartridge 40 are in the correct position to begin shaving or depilating the 2nd shaving or depilating side of cartridge 40. This facilitates the rotation of cartridge 40 around the Y-axis of the first pivot 21a and the second pivot 21b.As a result of this rotation, the barrier 30 comes into contact with the deflector 60 and, as the intensity of the pressure applied to the user increases further, a locking action occurs which results in the change between the first side 10a and the second side 10b of the cartridge 40. The way the user changes from the 1st shaving or hair removal side to the 2nd shaving or hair removal side can be done in any way possible to obtain the same effect.

[0121] In another embodiment, as shown in Figures 32A - 39, blade rods 47 are provided on each back of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d. Blade rods 47 provide cushioned support to blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d to facilitate precise traversal of curved surfaces of the user's face. Blade rods 47 allow blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d to rest on blade rods 47 at both ends of cartridge 40 and when the user shaves or epilates, blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d are able to move as they advance over different contours and surfaces, thus allowing less irritation and more comfort when shaving or epilating. Blade shafts #47 are known in the market, but this invention allows a single #40 cartridge to have two shaving or epilating sides, and both sides of the #40 cartridge have blade shafts #47, which is not currently used in the market. In another embodiment, as shown in Figure 32B, cartridge 40 does not have cartridge 49 ribs in the center of cartridge 40. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 27 / 66 21 / 53 In another embodiment, cartridge 40 has cartridge ribs 49, as shown in Figures 33, 34, 37 and 38, to provide support for cartridge 40. In one embodiment, the location of the cartridge ribs 49 is variable along cartridge 40. In another embodiment, the geometry of the cartridge ribs 49 is regular or irregular. If the blades are inserted from the rear of cartridge 40, there will be no cartridge ribs 49 on the front face of cartridge 40.

[0122] Currently, the razors available on the market have the blades inserted from the front. Therefore, there are many advantages to this new double-sided razor or shaving device design in being able to adapt to current 40 razor or shaving cartridge assembly machines. Having two assembly lines, like the standard single-sided razor or shaving cartridge assembly lines, which hold one side or half of the double-sided razor or shaving cartridge and then join them at the end of the cartridge automation assembly line. This form of assembly is more practical as it uses existing assembly line equipment without needing to be modified, thus making it easier to manufacture instead of designing new manufacturing equipment. In one embodiment, the double-sided razor or shaving cartridge 40 is configured to be constructed so that the blades are inserted and mounted from the rear of each double-sided cartridge 40 instead of the front side.

[0123] Blade tabs 43 allow blades 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d to be held in place. Blade tabs 43 are constructed in either irregular or regular shapes, have variable sizes, and are variably located in cartridge 40. In one embodiment, the number of blade rods 47 per side is variable. Blade rods 47 are oriented at a variable angle. Blade tabs 43 allow blades 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d to flex and move as the user shaves over different contours of their skin. They can also move in any direction to make shaving or hair removal close and comfortable. Blade tabs 43 are designed to help hold and maintain each blade 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d in perfect geometry, and as the user shaves or epilates, blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d are configured to move along with blade tabs 43, and when the user stops shaving or epilating, the blade tabs Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 28 / 66 22 / 53 go to the resting position of the blade and finger. The resting position of blade 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d is defined to have perfect apparatus geometry, angle, amplitude, BTA, clearance, etc. The two cartridges 40 are connected to each other by end caps 50, aluminum clips or sole clips or a means of connecting the two sides of the cartridge, including quick fitting, ultrasonic welding or other means to connect two halves. One side may have one to any number of rod tabs 43 and the other side has none or at least one blade tab 43.

[0124] In another embodiment, as shown in Figures 33, an exploded view of a flexible blade cartridge - floating double-sided razor or epilator 100 40 having flexible blade rods 47. Shows the end caps 50 enclosing the two halves of the cartridges. The two halves of the cartridge are joined by means of quick fitting, ultrasonic welding or other means to connect two halves. The end caps 50 are configured with grooves or slots or features to help maintain the blades in perfect and consistent geometry. The retention of the end caps 50 is designed in a possible way and is fixed or removable.

[0125] The outer areas of the end caps 50 are configured to interact with the rotating arm 20. Depending on the size of the contact area of each leg or pin of the end cap 22 and the sizes of the contact area of the rotating arm 20 will determine the angle of the cartridge 40 relative to the handle 10 during shaving or epilating. Cartridge end caps 50 and any other cartridge end caps 50 have this feature as disclosed in this application. End caps 50 are configured to be constructed having a regular and irregular shape and made of a suitable material from the group consisting of plastic, rubber, aluminum or steel.

[0126] Another embodiment of the present invention is shown in Figure 34, which shows blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d welded together and inserted from the front of the cartridge 40 and supported on blade rods 47. Although it shows that blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d enter from the front, the double-sided razor or depilatory device 100 is configured to be constructed to enter from the rear. Figure 35 shows a blade 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d welded to a blade holder 45 that fits into the cartridge 40. The holder Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 29 / 66 Blade 45 (23 / 53) is configured with variable size, thickness, shape, design, and angle. Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d are configured to be welded or attached in any other way known today or developed in the future. Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d are configured to be curved in the form shown in Figure 35 and not use a blade 45 holder, so that only one curved blade 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d will be used. When both blades 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d and the blade 45 holder are inserted into the razor or epilator cartridge 40, a spacing is configured between the two parts to allow for good flushing between the two sides and between each level of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d within the cartridge 40.The blade carrier 45, with horizontal ends opposite blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d, is configured with a half-arc construction or any shape to allow greater rinsing capacity between the two sides and between each level of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d within cartridge 40. The blade carrier 45 described in this application is variably configured in size, shape, or angle and is made of steel or a suitable material. Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d and the carrier 45 are configured as a curved blade 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d. Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d are configured to be welded or attached to blade carrier 45. The thickness of blade carrier 45 is important and can be any thickness; the thickness of the blade makes the blade carrier stronger, and when the blade is attached and inserted into the razor or shaving cartridge 40, then blade carrier 45 will not bend inward or outward and will be flat and strong. The 45 blade holder is designed to curve so that when the user shaves, the blade holder and blade can move and be more tolerant when shaving or epilating on different surfaces.

[0127] Another embodiment of the present invention is shown in Figure 36, which shows a floating blade cartridge - a double-sided flexible blade with lubricating strips 90. The lubricating strips 90 can be located anywhere on the cartridge 40 and connected to the cartridge 40 by quick-release or any other possible method. The lubricating strips 90 can be made from any type of materials, ingredients, vitamins, and aloes.

[0128] Another embodiment of the present disclosure is shown in Figure 37 which shows the inner rear part of a floating blade cartridge. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 30 / 66 24 / 53 Flexible Blade - Double-Sided Finger Tab 40. The finger tabs can be of any size, shape, angle, and any design. The double-sided 40 razor or shaving cartridge can have one or any number of finger tabs on each side. The middle blade holder can be of any size or shape or can be designed without any blade holder. The back can be smooth or have male or female connection areas or any type of connection area. The blades and blade holder are not inserted from this side; however, the 40 cartridge can be designed so that the blade holder and blades can be inserted from the back of the 40 cartridge.

[0129] Another embodiment of the present disclosure is shown in Figure 38, which shows the outer part of a floating blade cartridge - double-sided flexible blade finger tab 40. The guard may be of any size or shape and be made of any material or rubber and may be located anywhere. The rod tabs may be of any size, shape, angle and any design. The double-sided razor or depilatory cartridge 40 may have one or any number of rod tabs on each side. The middle blade holder may be of any size or shape or may be designed without any blade holder / blade support. The blades and blade holder are inserted from this side; however, the cartridge 40 may be designed so that the blade holder and blades may be inserted from the inner side of half of the cartridge 40 and there would be no blade holder on the front of the cartridge 40, or it may have one.Figure 39 shows a side view of cartridge 4032A and 32B with blades on both sides of cartridge 40. Both sides would have blades as shown in 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d and both sides would have blade rods 37 on each side of cartridge 40.

[0130] In yet another embodiment, as shown in Figures 40-48, is a floating blade cartridge – a double-sided flexible blade 40 with a plurality of cartridge ribs 49 are provided in the cartridge 40 to facilitate the restraint of each of the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d in a direction to the outside of the cartridge 40. As shown in Figure 34, each of the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d are fixedly attached to the blade carrier only at the ends instead of being joined along the entire length of the blade carrier 45. This saves material costs and offers flexibility as a result of reduced restraints on each of the Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 31 / 66 25 / 53 blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d. But, at the same time, the cartridge ribs 49 allow the blades to bend towards the blade articulation axis 44 of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d. The bending and movement of the blades can be in any direction except towards the outer side of the double-sided razor or depilatory cartridge 40 facing both ways.

[0131] Figure 41 shows an exploded view of cartridge 40 of Figure 40. It shows the end caps that enclose the two halves of the cartridges. The two halves of the cartridge can also be joined by quick snap-fit, can be attached by 1 to any number of clips, aluminum clips, or any other form known today or developed in the future. Figure 42 shows an image of our current blade carrier on the right and the new blade carrier design as shown in cartridge 40 of Figure 40-41. This new blade carrier design can be of any shape, size, thickness, and be made of any material. The blade carrier 45 can have a hole in the middle or anywhere, or have none at all. The legs or tabs on each side of the ends can be of any shape, design, material, and can be located anywhere. There can be any number of these legs or tabs on each side.Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d can be laser welded or attached in any way that permanently attaches the blade to the blade carrier. Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d are shown welded only at the ends, without back support in the middle. They can deflect backward when necessary, and forward movement is restricted by two cartridge ribs 49 that traverse the cartridge face 40. Figure 43 shows an image of our current blade welded to a blade carrier 45 on the left and to the right of the new blade carrier design with a blade welded and / or permanently attached. Figure 46 also shows the new blade carrier with the blade attached. There may be spacing between the two parts to allow for good flushing between the two sides and between each level of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d within the cartridge 40.

[0132] Figure 44a-44c shows three different cross-sectional views of a floating blade cartridge – flexible blade – finger tab 40 with cartridge ribs 49 that are in front of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d and part of the cartridge face 40 on each side. The cartridge ribs 49 allow the blade to move backward and prevent blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d from coming out. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 32 / 66 26 / 53 towards the user's skin. The cartridge ribs 49 on each side of the cartridge face 40 can be located anywhere, there can be one to any number of cartridge ribs 49, they can be of any shape, size, or design, or made of any material. This razor or depilatory cartridge design 40 can be designed in any way possible to achieve the same effect.

[0133] In yet another embodiment, as shown in Figure 45, a cross-sectional view is shown, and this is exactly like the same cartridge 40 shown in Figures 40-44, but without cartridge ribs 49 on the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d on each side of the cartridge face 40. In yet another embodiment, as shown in Figure 47, two cartridge halves of a floating blade cartridge are shown – a double-sided flexible blade with a plurality of cartridge ribs 49. There are two cartridge ribs 49 shown on each side, and there can be any number of cartridge ribs 49 and they can be located anywhere. This design and shape of this cartridge 40 can be of any design and shape, any one can be assembled into any number of pieces, and it can be attached in any possible way to achieve the same effect.Figure 48 shows a cross-sectional view and is exactly the same as the same cartridge 40 shown in Figures 40-44 showing a cartridge rib over blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d on each side of cartridge face 40.

[0134] In yet another embodiment, as shown in Figures 49-53, there is a floating blade cartridge - a double-sided flexible blade 40. In another embodiment, as shown in Figures 50-53, blade tabs 43 are provided on each side of the blade holder 45. The blade tabs 43 facilitate the restraint of the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d in a direction toward the outside of the double-sided razor or epilator 100. But at the same time, the blade tabs 43 allow bending or moving the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d toward the blade articulation axis 44 of the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d. Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d are shown welded at the ends with only the rear blade support in the middle. The blades can deflect backward when necessary, and forward movement is restricted by two tabs extending from the blade support on each side.

[0135] The curvature and movement of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 33 / 66 27 / 53 can be rearward or can move in any direction except toward the outer side of the face of a double-sided cartridge razor or depilatory device. Figure 50 shows an exploded view of the cartridge as shown in Figures 49-53. There can be any number of cartridge parts, any design, any form of assembly for all cartridges described in this application.

[0136] Figure 51 shows an image of a new blade carrier design as shown in cartridge 40 of Figures 49-53. This new blade carrier design can be of any shape, size, thickness, and made of any material. The blade carrier can have a hole in the middle or anywhere, or have none at all. The legs or tabs on each side of the ends can be of any shape, design, material, and can be located anywhere. There can be any number of these legs or tabs on each side. Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d can be laser welded or attached in any way that permanently secures the blade to the blade carrier. Figure 52 shows an image of our current blade welded to a blade carrier 45 on the left and the new blade carrier design with a welded and / or permanently attached blade on the right. Figure 46 also shows the new blade carrier 45 with the blade attached. There may be spacing between the two parts in the upper section to allow for good washing between the two sides and between each level of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d within cartridge 40. Figure 53 shows a cross-sectional view of cartridge 40 shown in Figures 49-53 showing the tabs of cartridge 43.

[0137] In another embodiment, as shown in Figures 54-61, blade springs 70 are provided between blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d. Blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d are split along the blade articulation axis 44 as shown, which facilitates an extra degree of freedom. Blade springs 70 facilitate the restraint of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d in a direction toward the outside of the double-sided razor or epilator 100. But at the same time, blade springs 70 allow the bending of the blades toward the blade articulation axis 44 of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d. The curvature and movement of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d can also be in any direction except towards the outside of the razor face or Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 34 / 66 28 / 53 Double-sided razor with cartridge 40. Thus, shaving or epilating performance is improved as uneven shaving or epilating surfaces are shaved precisely and satisfactorily with either of the floating blade or flexible blade cartridges described in this application. Figure 55 shows an exploded view of the cartridge as shown in Figures 54-61. Figure 56 and Figure 59A show a bottom view of each side of the blade and blade holder connected by the blade spring 70. Figure 59B shows a side view of each side of the blade and blade holder connected by the blade spring 70. The gap between the blade and the blade holder allows the blade spring 70 to let the blade holder flex and move up, down, or in any direction for a close and comfortable shave or epilate, and the space allows for good rinsing. The 70-blade spring can be of any size, any shape, any design, any material, any number, and can be connected in any possible way to each side of the blade carrier / blade. The shape of the blade carrier can be of any size or shape.

[0138] Figure 57 shows a cross-sectional view of the cartridge shown in Figures 54-61 showing the blade springs 70. Figure 58 shows a top view of each side of the blade and blade carrier connected to each other by the blade spring 70. Figure 59A shows a view of the bottom section of the cartridge shown in Figures 54-61 and the blade spring 70. Figure 59B shows a side view of the cartridge shown in Figures 54-61 and the blade spring 70. Figures 60A and 60B show a top sectional view of the cartridge 40 shown in Figures 54-61 and the blade spring 70. Figure 61 shows the rear part of half of the cartridge shown in Figures 54-61 and the blade spring 70. The upper portion of the cartridge 40 shown in this application may have a cutting blade in the uppermost portion of the double-sided razor or epilator cartridge.

[0139] Another embodiment of the present disclosure is shown in Figures 62-68, wherein metal channels 80 are provided on top of each of the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d to facilitate the restraint of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d. This arrangement allows each of the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d to bend inward while restricting the curvature of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d in the outward direction. Thus, the shaving performance or Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 35 / 66 29 / 53 shaving is improved as irregular shaving or depilatory surfaces are shaved precisely and satisfactorily. Figure 62 shows a blade carrier with a permanently welded blade attached and the metal channel 80 allows bending of each of the blades 41a,41b,41c,41d inward while restricting the bending of blades 41a,41b,41c,41d in the outward direction. Figure 63 shows the rear view or bottom side view of blade carrier 45 in Figure 65. Figure 63 further shows the bending of each of the blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d towards the inner articulation axis 44. The movement of blades 41a, 41b, 41c, 41d can be backward or can be in any direction, at any angle, but not in an outward direction towards the outer face of each cartridge side or towards the user's skin or shaving or hair removal surface.

[0140] The metal channel 80 can have any shape, any size, any design, any material, any number, any attachment. The metal channel has holes on the top and bottom sides to allow for good rinsability. Figure 64 shows a cross-sectional view of a cartridge with the blade holder and the metal channel 80. The metal channel is on both sides of the double-sided razor or epilator cartridge 40. Figure 65 shows one side of a double-sided flexible blade floating blade cartridge 40. Figure 66 shows a double-sided flexible blade floating blade cartridge 40 and a blade attached to a blade holder 45 with the metal channel 80 attached. Figure 67 shows an enhanced view of one end of a blade 41a attached to a blade holder 45 with the metal channel 80 attached. Figure 68 shows a top sectional view of the cartridge 40 shown in Figure 65.

[0141] In yet another embodiment, as shown in Figures 6971, a stepped and telescopic central blade holder 91 is shown for reducing the thickness of the cartridge of a general double-sided floating / flexible blade razor or epilator 40. Figure 65 shows a cross-sectional view showing the central blade holder 91. Figure 66 shows an enhanced view of the stepped and telescopic blade holder 91 for reducing the overall thickness of the razor or epilator cartridge. Figure 67 shows a top cross-sectional view of the stepped and telescopic blade holder 91 for reducing the thickness of the razor cartridge. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 36 / 66 30 / 53 or full shave. The stepped and telescopic blade holder 91 can be of any size, shape, any design, any number, any location, and any material. The stepped and telescopic blade holder 91 helps support the blade extension normally in the middle of the cartridge 40 or in a suitable location on blade 41a. This also helps prevent blade 41 from bending and moving in the wrong direction.

[0142] The new double-sided disposable razor and shaving device system described in this application shows many improvements over double-sided razors. The new improvements to the double-sided razor allow consumers to have many benefits, as disclosed throughout this application.

[0143] One of the most important features is that consumers can get twice the lifespan of their disposable razor and shaving system, something never before offered. Consumers would benefit from having two shaving cycles or uses every time they buy this new double-sided disposable razor and shaving system. The consumer will also have two sets of new blades to use every time they use and buy disposable razors and shaving system cartridges. This creates a better value proposition for the consumer as they get twice the lifespan of each disposable razor and shaving system, instead of just having 1 shaving use.

[0144] There are many other important features mentioned that will make switching from the 1st shaving or waxing side to the 2nd shaving or waxing side much faster and easier. This makes it more convenient for consumers to use every day.

[0145] In today's shaving or hair removal market, consumers are forced to pay high prices for razors or hair removal devices and even higher prices for the replacement cartridges that are sold. This double-sided device innovation allows consumers to save money by shaving or hair removal twice as long as with regular razors or hair removal devices and cartridges. In this way, Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 37 / 66 31 / 53 can spend less money per year on razors or hair removal devices, and that is one of the reasons why this invention is so necessary in the market. The present invention and application included in this document has a new and improved way of bringing consumers a double-sided razor or hair removal device with an excellent shave or hair removal performance while saving money.

[0146] The double-sided razor is a concept that allows the consumer to save money and have a shave that lasts twice as long. Typical razors have 1 to 5 blades on only one side, and when they become dull, they throw them away. With the double-sided razor, there are 1-5 blades, and at each end of the blade there is a sharp edge for shaving. Therefore, both ends of the razor blade are sharp and have 2-sided shaving surfaces. In this way, the consumer can use one side of the razor and then use the other side of the razor cartridge and shave twice as much. The razor blades will utilize both ends of the razor blade instead of wasting the opposite end to the normally sharp end.

[0147] The new double-sided razor or shaving device system and disposable razor or shaving device described in this application shows many improvements over the double-sided razor or shaving device. The new improvements to the double-sided razor or shaving device allow consumers to have many benefits, as disclosed throughout this application.

[0152] 1) New double-sided disposable razor or shaver, faster and easier

[0153] When a consumer buys a typical disposable razor or shaving device, he uses it until the blades become dull, then the Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 39 / 66 33 / 53 Consumers throw them away. The new disposable razor has improvements that allow consumers to use the first side of the razor and, when it becomes dull, switch to the second side more quickly and easily. This makes using this double-sided disposable razor more convenient for consumers and allows them to have two new blade sides every time they buy and use a disposable razor. Offering double the shave with each disposable razor you buy is a great value proposition for the consumer. Consumers always love a new set of blades, and when they buy this double-sided disposable razor, it allows consumers to have two new sets of blades to use during each use. There is one disposable razor, but it offers many benefits, such as double the shaving and the opportunity to use two sets of blades throughout the lifespan of a disposable razor. The handles of disposable razors currently used on the market are used only once, and this double-sided disposable razor allows consumers to use the handle twice. This allows for a longer lifespan of the handles and less premature disposal. The most important feature is that consumers can get double the lifespan of their disposable razor, something never offered before. Consumers would benefit from having two shaving cycles or uses every time they buy this new double-sided disposable razor. The consumer will also have two sets of new blades to use every time they use and purchase disposable razor cartridges. This creates a better value proposition for the consumer as they get twice the lifespan of all disposable razors, instead of just one use.

[0154] Cable

[0155] The handle of a double-sided disposable razor or shaver has symmetrical handles that can be held for two separate uses on either side. Older safety razors or shavers usually have a round handle that can be held on both sides while shaving or shaving, however, this new handle is used in a different way. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 40 / 66 34 / 53 different, which is disclosed. Older safety razors have 2 edges where the user shaves or shaves back and forth on the skin while shaving or shaving. Both edges are used simultaneously until the blades become dull and the double-edged razor blade needs to be replaced. This new symmetrical handle is used differently from older safety razors or shavers; the user would hold one razor handle (1st handle side) which is comfortable to grip and hold while shaving or shaving with the 1st shaving side. When the user finishes using the 1st side and the blades are dull, then the user will flip the cartridge to the 2nd shaving side and the user rotates and flips the handle to the second handle side which is opposite the 1st handle side and continues shaving or shaving. The second side of the handle is usually an identical, mirror image of the first side and is comfortable to grip, hold, and shave with. Once the second side is dull, the user would discard that double-sided disposable razor and buy another double-sided disposable razor and repeat those steps. No other razor handle on the market works this way.

[0156] The handle can be ergonomically shaped on both sides, so it is very comfortable to hold the razor or epilator handle on either side. There may be grooves or finger areas that are inserted or raised that can allow the finger to rest comfortably and easily and allow consumers to hold the handle comfortably and shave conveniently with a convenient and comfortable feel while holding the device on both the 1st handle side and the 2nd handle side.

[0157] The handle of a double-sided disposable razor or shaving device can be of any shape, size, and design known now or developed in the future. The handle of a double-sided disposable razor or shaving device can be made of steel, plastic, rubber, or any material or combination of materials. The handle can be solid, hollow, or perforated from the bottom of the handle. One side can be solid and the other side can have hollow areas. The handle of a double-sided disposable razor or shaving device can be made of any material or combination of materials. It can be made of steel or any material Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 41 / 66 35 / 53 heavy, plastic, rubber or any type of soft material and any combination of materials and can be made of any type of material. The cable can be one to any number of pieces.

[0158] The top of the handles may have any type of connectors or any type of attachment mechanism to connect to a double-sided shaver or epilator head that is known now or developed in the future. The handle and the double-sided shaver or epilator head may be one piece or several pieces or may be molded together. These areas may have hinge areas to allow the cartridge to flex back and forth during shaving or epilating.

[0159] Annexation

[0160] The double-sided disposable razor or depilatory cartridge can be attached to any type of razor or depilatory handle known now or developed in the future. The double-sided cartridge having parallel shaving or depilatory surfaces and the cartridge can have any type of attachment or connection. It can be made of plastic rubber, steel, or any type of material known now or developed in the future. The attachment can be like any razor or depilatory attachment on the market known now or released on the market in the future. The attachment can be permanent or removable. The attachment can have no attachment and be molded as part of the handle. The double-sided disposable razor or depilatory cartridge can be connected directly to the handle or cord, rotating arms, arms or pins, or any part of the razor or depilatory, handle or cartridge, or any part of the razor or depilatory. The disposable double-sided razor or shaving cartridge can be molded into the handle and part of the handle or razor or shaving device and be a single unit or separate parts or units.

[0161] 2) New double-sided razor or shaving system that is faster and easier to use, and new handles.

[0162] This new, faster and easier double-sided shaver or epilator works similarly to a disposable double-sided shaver or epilator, except that the cartridge is replaceable when both sides have been used and are dull, so a new cartridge can be replaced and placed in the handle. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, p. 42 / 66 36 / 53

[0163] When a consumer buys a typical razor or shaving system, they use the razor cartridge until the blades become dull, then discard it and insert a new cartridge. The new razor or shaving system has improvements that allow the consumer to use the first side of the razor or shaving system and, when it becomes dull, switch to the second side more quickly and easily. This makes using this double-sided razor or shaving system more convenient for consumers and allows them to have two new blade sides every time they buy and use razor or shaving system cartridges. Offering twice the shave or shaving with each razor or shaving system they buy is a great value proposition for the consumer.Consumers always love a new set of blades, and when they buy this double-sided razor system, it allows consumers to have 2 new sets of blades to use during each use of each razor cartridge. The new razor system offers many benefits, such as double the shaving and the opportunity to use 2 sets of blades throughout the lifespan of each razor cartridge.

[0164] The method of using this double-sided shaving or epilating device system is faster and easier;

[0165] The user would use the cartridge currently in the razor or shaving cartridge and when the first sides of the double-sided razor or shaving cartridge are dull, then the user would flip the cartridge back to the other side. This means that when the 1st side is being used, the top portion of the cartridge is angled backward toward the back of the 2nd side of the cartridge and the 2nd side of the handle. When the 1st side of the razor or shaving cartridge is dull, the user will switch and flip the top portion of the razor or shaving cartridge in the opposite direction, so that now the top parts of the cartridge are angled toward the 1st side of the cartridge and the 1st side of the handle.

[0166] When the shaving or epilating system flips to the other side, the cartridge passes through a deflector built into the upper portion of the cartridge or rotating arm handle. When the consumer uses the 2nd side Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, page 43 / 66 37 / 53 completely and the blades are dull, so the consumer can disconnect the cartridge by pulling the cartridge away from the handle or by a button and throw it away. Then, the consumer would put another new double-sided razor or epilator cartridge in the new razor or epilator system and continue using it as described above; it can be used in any possible way, not just what was explained above.

[0167] The process of flipping the cartridge from the 1st side to the 2nd side can be done in any way now known or developed or learned in the future. One way to flip it from one side to the other... the consumer can switch sides and move it using their fingers. Or they can turn the device upside down and use the countertop and touch the top section of the countertop or flat surface and push the top of the razor or epilator cartridge until it flips to the other side, this is a very quick and easy way without using fingers.

[0168] Cable

[0169] Double-sided razor or shaving system handles are symmetrical handles that can be held with two separate uses on both sides. Older safety razors or shaving devices usually have a round handle that can be held on both sides while shaving or shaving, however, this new handle is used differently, which is disclosed. Older safety razors or shaving devices have 2 edges where the user shaves back and forth on the skin while shaving. Both edges are used at the same time until the blades become dull and the double-sided razor or shaving device blade needs to be replaced. This new symmetrical handle is used differently from older safety devices; the user would hold one razor or shaving handle (1st side of handle) which is comfortable to grip and hold while shaving or shaving with the 1st side of the handle. When the user finishes using the first side and the blades are dull, the user will flip the cartridge to the second shaving or hair removal side and then turn and rotate the handle to the second handle side, which is opposite the first handle side, and continue shaving or hair removal. The second handle side is usually an identical, mirror image of the first handle side and is comfortable to grip, hold, and use for shaving or hair removal. After the second side is dull, the user will discard it. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 44 / 66 38 / 53 the double-sided razor or epilator cartridge and replace it with another double-sided razor or epilator cartridge and repeat the steps mentioned. No other razor or epilator cartridge on the market works this way.

[0170] The handle can be ergonomically shaped on both sides, so it is very comfortable to hold the handle of the device on both sides. There may be grooves or finger areas that are inserted or raised that can allow the finger to rest comfortably and easily and allow consumers to hold the handle comfortably and shave conveniently with a convenient and comfortable feel while holding the device on both the 1st handle side and the 2nd handle side.

[0171] The handle of a double-sided razor or shaving system can be of any shape, size, and design known now or developed in the future. The handle of a double-sided razor or shaving system can be made of steel, plastic, rubber, or any material or combination of materials. The handle can be solid, hollow, or perforated at the bottom. One side can be solid and the other side can have hollow areas. The handle of a double-sided razor or shaving system can be made of any material or combination of materials. It can be made of steel or any heavy material, plastic, rubber, or any type of soft material, and any combination of materials, and can be made of any type of material. The handle can be one to any number of pieces.

[0172] The top of the handles may have any type of connectors or any type of attachment mechanism to connect to a double-sided shaver or epilator head that is known now or developed in the future. The handle and the double-sided shaver or epilator head may be one piece or several pieces or may be molded together. These areas may have hinge areas to allow the cartridge to flex back and forth during shaving or epilating.

[0173] The double-sided razor or shaving system cartridge can be attached to any type of razor or shaving handle known now or developed in the future. The double-sided cartridge has parallel shaving or shaving surfaces and the cartridge can have any type of attachment or connection. It can be made of plastic rubber, steel Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pages 45 / 66 39 / 53 or any type of material now known or developed in the future. The attachment may be like any razor or depilatory attachment on the market now known or released on the market in the future. The attachment may be permanent or removable. The attachment may have no attachment and be molded as part of the handle. The double-sided razor or depilatory system cartridge may be attached directly to the handle or to the handle, rotating arms, arms or pins or any part of the razor or depilatory, handle or cartridge or any part of the razor or depilatory. The double-sided razor or depilatory system cartridge may be molded into the handle and part of the handle or of the razor or depilatory and be a unit or separate parts or units.

[0174] 13) Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades: The double-sided razor cartridge may have flexible blades, floating blades, or moving blades on one side and / or both sides of the double-sided razor cartridge. I will use the term Flex blades to mean Flex blades, floating blades, or moving blades. Flexible blades allow the razor blades to flex or move according to the contours of the user's skin or the surfaces being shaved. The flexible blades move within the cartridge and any portion of the razor blade that is exposed from the razor cartridge. Flexible blades make shaving more comfortable, and flexible blades allow the blades to cut the hair as the cartridge and flexible blades pass over the user's skin.

[0175] With razor or shaving cartridges that do not have flexible blades, floating blades, or movable blades, the blades are in a fixed position and do not move, therefore, when these types of razor or shaving cartridges and razor or shaving blades scrape over the user's skin, the razor or shaving blades do not move. When the razor or shaving cartridge slides over a user's skin in different contours, the blades are fixed and there is no room for maneuver or yielding.

[0176] The advantage of a double-sided razor or shaver with flexible blades is that the user can use one side of the razor with Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pages 46 / 66 40 / 53 offers a comfortable shave or hair removal thanks to flexible blade technology, and when the blades become dull, simply switch to the other side and continue shaving. This gives the consumer twice the shave or hair removal range, the convenience of having fresh blades to use, and saves money.

[0177] Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades can be designed in any form known today. Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades can have from one to any number of blades on each side of the cartridge. Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades can be attached to a fixed or flexible carrier or shaft or frame, and Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades can all be connected or separate. Each of the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades on one side of the razor or epilator cartridge can move simultaneously or separately. Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades can be connected to the 2nd side of the razor or epilator and / or opposite sides of the flexible blades, or they can all move together or independently. So, when the flexible blades move on one side that is being used for shaving, the opposite side cannot be used; the flexible blade can also move, allowing for better hair flow and removal of shaving cream or depilatory gels, etc. The cartridge's rinsing capacity is improved due to the blade movement.

[0178] Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Movable Blades on both sides can work in unison or move independently.

[0179] The blade holder or blade frame where the blade is welded or attached to it may be one piece or several pieces and may have a hinge-type, flexible-type, or spring-type mechanism that allows the blade to flex and move and may also move while in the blade holder or blade frame and this allows the blade to flex in a more controlled manner, rather than relying on plastic or other components to flex the blade when in a cartridge such as typical flexible blade, razor blade cartridges or floating epilator. The hinge-type, flexible-type, or spring-type mechanism that allows the blade to flex may be located anywhere on the razor or epilator cartridge, blade, blade holder, blade frame, blade holder. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 47 / 66 41 / 53

[0180] Typical flexible blade razor cartridges have plastic tabs on which the blades rest, and when they pass over different contours or surfaces, the blades move, and so do the tabs on which the blades rest; giving them the flexibility to move up and down or in any direction. With a double-sided razor cartridge, the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades can rest on flexible and movable surfaces or guides. These tabs and movable surfaces may be located on the cartridge, blade holder, or blade frame, or anywhere else, and may contain both sides of the flexible blade, blades and / or blade holder or blade frame, or just one side, and may move separately or together with the opposing 2nd side of the flexible blades - floating blades - moving blades. These tabs and movable surfaces may be located on the cartridge or anywhere else and may contain both sides of the flexible blade, blades, and the flexible blades may move separately or together with the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades of the 2nd side for shaving or opposite hair removal. These tabs may be at the ends of the cartridge and may be of any length and may pass under the blade holder or blade or blade frame or anywhere else.

[0181] The blade holder of a double-sided razor or epilator is typically flat and angled on both sides, where the blade is permanently attached to both sides by welding or other means or may be a single piece.

[0182] In one embodiment, the blade holder or blade frame may flex or bend allowing movement instead of being fixed. This may be done in any manner known today or developed in the future. Holes may also be made in the blade holder when they are made to allow a hinge effect and allow the medium to move up and down when the user shaves or epilates over different shaving or epilate surfaces. This will also give more holes in the medium of the device to allow greater water flow and rinsing capacity. The ends of the blade holder will allow Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades to be attached to the razor or epilate cartridge. The cartridge will also be designed to hold these Flexible Blades. Petition 870260061257, 06 / 22 / 2026, p. 48 / 66 42 / 53 Floating Blades - Movable Blades so they can move. The cartridge design containing the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Movable Blades can be designed in any way possible to achieve this and allow for precise geometry of the razor or epilator cartridge.

[0183] The angled surface on the blade carrier where the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades are connected and where it is connected to the flat horizontal surface may have a bending point or hinge point where it moves and flexes in an upward motion only or downward motion only or up and down motion or in any direction. This may be accomplished by any means now known or developed in the future. An embodiment may have the design holes and bores that allow this joint to flex and bounce and move up and down or only in one direction. The blade carrier and / or blade frame may be of any shape or design and made of any material.

[0184] In one embodiment, the blades on each side of the double-sided razor or epilator can be welded to a flat blade or blade carrier, then the middle can be bent, allowing the two sides to be angled downwards to create the right angle for the double-sided razor or epilator cartridge. The area to be bent can be machine-made, laser welding to heat the surface to allow the material to bend. The bend point or hinge point may have holes to allow bending flexibility and allow more water flow and better rinsing capability. Where Flexible Blades - Floating Blades Movable Blades are attached and where they are connected to the flat horizontal surface they may have a bending point where they move and flex in an upward motion only or downward motion only or up and down motion or in any direction.

[0185] Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades can be curved blades, i.e., a blade that is curved or a blade that is connected to a blade holder and curved. The double-sided razor or shaver can hold these independently curved blades separately on each side or together, and the double-sided razor or shaver cartridge can be designed to hold these blades and allow blade movement and blade bending on each side. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 49 / 66 43 / 53 of the blade cartridge. Thus, for example, a double-sided 3-blade razor or shaving cartridge with 3 independent flexible blades on one side and 3 independent flexible blades on the other side.

[0186] In one embodiment, the blade holder or blade frame may be flat on top and angled downward on both sides where the blades are permanently attached. At opposite ends of the flat surface, a portion may protrude and be shaped in any possible manner or size. These end points may be placed in the pouches of a double-sided razor or epilator cartridge or in the swivel pouches or cavities in a blade frame, blade holder, or in any location that allows the blade to flex, float, or move, enabling the blades to cut hair over different contour shaving or epilating surfaces. These swivel cavities or points may be of any size or shape and be designed to allow the cartridge to rotate only within a certain range and angle in each direction or in any direction. In this way, the blade movements are calculated and can be within strict tolerances and precise progressive exposures of the blades on each side of the razor cartridge. The blades on the opposite side can also move, but the opposite side is not being shaved. When side 1 blade is being shaved with its upward movement, then the 2nd shaving side opposite that blade is moving downward. The moving blades on the 1st shaving side can move in the opposite direction to the 2nd shaving side, or they can move in the same direction, or in either direction.

[0187] The angled surface on the blade carrier where the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades are connected and where they are connected to the flat horizontal surface may have a bending point where they move and flex in an upward motion only or downward motion only or up and down motion. The angles of the blade frame or blade carriers may have a bending point, hinge point and / or spring point and may be located anywhere. The angles of the blade or blade frame or blade carrier may flex or the flat surfaces.

[0188] Any of the revealed modalities can have the Blades Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pages 50 / 66 44 / 53 Flexible - Floating Blades - Movable blades that move only up or only down, or can move up and down or in any direction. Flexible - Floating - Movable Blades can move separately, independently, or simultaneously.

[0189] The double-sided razor or depilatory cartridge holding the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Movable Blades may be of one to any number of pieces, in one embodiment the razor or depilatory cartridge may be one piece, for example, and the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Movable Blades may be placed on both sides of the single-piece cartridge and an aluminum clip may hold the flexible blades in place or any other type of connection or end caps already disclosed in previous applications.

[0190] The double-sided cartridge with flexible blades can be of any size and shape and made of any material now known or a combination of materials and can be assembled with a one-piece or two-piece cartridge or any number of cartridge pieces. The Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Movable Blades and blade holder and blade frame can be of any size and made of any material now known or a combination of materials and can be assembled with one or any number of pieces. The Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Movable Blades can be connected in any way to permanently attach the blade to the blade holder and blade frame. Either the blade holder or frame can be made of the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Movable Blades, it can be on the same surface. The blade can be the blade holder or the blade frame.Flexible blades, floating blades, and movable blades can be curved or shaped in a way that allows the blade to angle downwards as described in this application, so that the blade is the blade support in one.

[0191] There may be a central structure connecting the blade, blade supports / blade frame, or blade carrier. This may be part of the frame and may consist of one to any number of pieces. Blades may be welded to this frame and at any location to provide precise geometry and progressive geometry. A central access point may connect all the carriers. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 51 / 66 45 / 53 blade, blades, blade frames individually or all of them. The central axis may be located in the center of the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades and blade carrier or blade frame or be located at the ends and in the middle of the Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Moving Blades or anywhere. The central blade axis may be located anywhere and have one to any number of them. The central axis may have bending, spring or hinge areas and / or points that allow all blades to flex and move.

[0192] The blades where this central access can be located anywhere on blade holders, or blade frame or even the blades and can run through all blade holders, blade carrier or blades or be connected to one or all blade holders, blade frame or blades and between all blade holders there may be break points, hinge points, flexible points or spring points that allow the blade to flex or move in or out or up and down or in any direction each time the blade is cutting hair and passing over different shaving or shaving surfaces or contours. This access can be connected and located anywhere on the flexible blades or blade carrier or anywhere on the blade connection areas or anywhere inside the cartridge to allow the blades to flex. The central axis may have areas where they have guides where the blade holder and the blade can move back and forth in a precise and controlled manner.

[0193] The blades in a double-sided razor or epilator cartridge can be welded to a frame, and this frame can contain one to any number of blades. This frame can be independent or connected to the other side of the second side of the cartridge blade frame and blades. When the blades are welded to the frame, the frame would have areas where the blade could be angled or welded to a part that is already angled, and the sections are attached to the frame and can move up or down and can move in and out so that the blades can flex and move while the user shaves in different settings. Then this frame can be inserted into one side of the cartridge and the same thing with the other side of the cartridge and then assembled. As described, the frame can include both Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pages 52 / 66 46 / 53 the sides of the blades, blade carrier or frame in one or any number of pieces and then placed in the device cartridge to be mounted.

[0194] The blade carrier currently used in the market has a flat top and is angled on both sides where the blade is permanently attached. In one embodiment, in the middle of the section there may be split areas where the blade can flex or move. This area may be designed to have protrusions or holes or designed to be bent and flexed in the middle or at any location.

[0195] The blade carrier and frame can use a double-edged blade and be curved to make the blade angled on both sides of the blade, so that it is a piece that has a blade carrier or frame and the blade and no welding is required. The blade is the blade carrier.

[0196] The blade holder or blade frame of a double-sided razor or shaver is typically flat and angled on both sides, but it can be any size or shape design. If it were flat, and to have precise and progressive geometry, the blade holder or frame that cuts the hair first would be the lowest blade in the razor or shaver cartridge, and this blade would not be exposed as much as the next blade above it and the blade after that. Thus, the 1st blade holder or flat section of the blade frame may be shorter to allow the blade welded to both sides to not be exposed as much on both sides. The 2nd flat area of the blade holder or frame may be slightly longer than the 1st flat portion of the blade holder or frame; this allows the blade welded to it or attached to it on both sides to be slightly more exposed than the 1st blade on both sides below it.So the 3rd flat area of the blade holder or frame is slightly larger than the 2nd and 1st, and the blade on both sides is exposed more than the 2 blades and 1 blade below the 3rd flat area. In this way, the blades have progressive geometry and can cut progressively. The 1st blade cuts the hair, the 2nd blade passes and cuts more hair, and the 3rd blade cuts the remaining hair.

[0197] This progressive geometry and exposed blade with progressive geometry can be made by any means possible and in any manner that has been disclosed in this application. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pages 53 / 66 47 / 53

[0198] In one embodiment, where Flexible Blades - Floating Blades - Movable Blades, including the blade holder or blade frame, are stacked one on top of the other in a razor or depilatory cartridge, each stack may have a flexible mechanism located anywhere on the blade holder, blade frame, flexible blade, main frame holding the blade, holder or blade, blade ends or each end or middle or any location. Each stack of Flexible Blades Floating Blades - Movable Blades and the blade holder or blade frame may have a flexible mechanism between each stack and the lowest flexible blade and / or holder section may have a mechanism that lies below to touch another part of the frame or cartridge as there is no blade below it. This flexible, spring or hinge mechanism may be located anywhere on the razor or depilatory cartridge, blade, frame or holder. This flexible mechanism can be made of any material and function in any way possible to allow each blade to flex and move up and down or in any direction so that the blades glide over the different contours and surfaces of the user's skin. These flexible points or areas can allow the first shaving or hair removal side of the blade to move and the opposite side of the first side (the second shaving or hair removal side) to move in the same direction or opposite direction or in any direction.

[0199] The flexible, floating, and movable blade can move in any direction. Thus, while the user is shaving, the flexible, floating, and movable blade can move and allow the shaving cream or depilatory cream, shaving gel or depilatory cream, or shaving butter and the hair to be cut to move because the flexible blade on both sides is moving, allowing a flow to be in constant motion all the way to the 2nd side not being used and exiting the razor cartridge.

[0200] That's right, even when the user washes their device with water to clean their hair and shaving gels or depilatory creams or shaving creams, etc., through the razor cartridge. When water is applied, usually in the shower or sink, there is movement of the water, and this allows the flexible blade on both sides to move, allowing a constant flow of water to move to the second side that is not being used and Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 54 / 66 48 / 53 coming out of the razor or epilator cartridge. With single-sided razors, the flexible, floating, and movable blade usually has plastic or cartridge materials or parts on the back and doesn't have as much water flow.

[0201] In one embodiment, the flat top surface of the blade holder or blade frame may have holes and accommodate a control shaft that passes through all the stacked flexible blades – floating blades – movable blades. The control shaft may be located anywhere and may interact with each blade holder or blade frame where the blade is permanently attached. The point or points of the control shaft may interact with the opening of the blade holder and allow the Flexible Blades – Floating Blades – Movable Blades to flex and move. It may be designed to control blade movement precisely because it is made of steel and not plastic. This would allow the blade to move within all tolerances for a close and comfortable shave or epilation. Where the central shaft interacts with the opening of the blade holder, the blade moves, and as the blade moves, the blade holder moves using the shaft as a guide. This axis point and axis guide can be located anywhere, even at opposite ends. The axis that passes through each blade carrier, blade frame, or blade... can have smaller or narrower sections. This thin or narrower section is where the upper or flat area of the blade carrier passes through, and these narrower sections are precisely measured so that the blade can move upwards or in any direction with tighter tolerances. The axis is a guide to how much the flexible blade or blade carrier can move. The point or points of interaction of the axis and blade carrier can be located anywhere and can function in any way to achieve the same effect.

[0202] In one embodiment, the blade holder or blade frame may be welded or joined. In another embodiment, the opposite ends of the blade holder or blade frame may slide or rest on the ends of the cartridge. The ends of the cartridge may have pouches or cavities in which the ends rest and may be tabs. When the user shaves, the blades move in the tabs or these pouches or cavities hold the ends of the blade holder.

[0203] In one embodiment, the ends of the blade holder Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pages 55 / 66 49 / 53 or the blade frame or opposite ends can be stacked on top of each other and these ends can have spring or flex technology or materials or features that allow the blade and blade carrier to flex and / or move.

[0204] In one embodiment, the ends of the blade holder or blade frame in which the blades are welded or permanently fixed to each other are placed in an apparatus cartridge. One manner as disclosed in the prior application is the blade holder being in halves of the razor or shaving apparatus cartridge; these cartridge halves (2 pieces) have grooves or teeth that the opposite ends of the blade holder are placed in half of each cartridge. The teeth or grooves or cavities are typically flat to keep the end of the blade holder and blade support and the blade in a fixed position so that they do not move. A novel way for this design to have flexible and floating and movable blades is to alter the design of the teeth and grooves and pocket.Instead of teeth, pouches, or grooves that keep the opposite ends of the blade holder flat, the intermediate section may be narrower and the outer ends of the pouch, grooves, or teeth may be wider. This can be any shape or be in any location, but, for example, like a peanut shape. The ends of the blade holder rest on the intermediate section of the groove or teeth or pouch in a fixed position (blade rest position), and when the user shaves on different contours and shaving or epilating surfaces, the ends of the blade holder move or tilt up or down depending on the surface being shaved. These outer ends of the teeth, cavities, or grooves may have precise limits and rotation measurements so that they can only move a certain amount so that they can be kept within precise tolerances. The blade holder that moves within a grooved or toothed pocket area is more precise and accurate than typical flexible razors or epilators that rely on plastic tabs where the plastic rests and moves up and down. The plastic tabs can be misaligned due to injection molding consistencies. The ends of the blade holder rely on steel to move within a plastic pocket, teeth, or grooved area, and the movement will be more precise. Petition 870260061257, dated 06 / 22 / 2026, pp. 56 / 66 50 / 53

[0205] In another embodiment, the teeth or pocket grooves may be flat in shape, but have more space above and below the blade holder, blade frame to allow the blade to move. The ends of the blade holder rest in the middle section of the groove or teeth or pocket in a fixed position (blade rest position) and when the user shaves on different contours and shaving or epilating surfaces, the ends of the blade holder move up or down depending on the surface to be shaved. These outer ends of the teeth, pockets or grooves may have precise limits and measurements, so that the blade and blade holder can only move up and down a certain amount for a comfortable shave or epilating using flexible technology.
