1 / 10 “AN ALARM PERIPHERAL TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to alarm systems for both indoor and outdoor use, which can be used in homes or small businesses, and to peripherals for use in such a system. BACKGROUND
[0002] Residential alarm systems and similar systems often comprise at least one battery-powered alarm sensor assembly. The alarm sensor assembly is typically arranged in a desired and specific position that may be unintentionally altered when the sensor assembly is managed.
[0003] Based on the above, it is understood that there is potential for improvements and the invention aims to solve or at least mitigate the problems mentioned above. SUMMARY
[0004] One objective of the present invention is to provide a new type of alarm sensor or alarm peripheral assembly that is improved upon the prior art and that eliminates or at least mitigates the disadvantages discussed above. These objectives are achieved by the art presented in the appended independent claims with preferred embodiments defined in the dependent claims related thereto. Additional advantages will be partially presented in the following description or may be learned by practice.
[0005] In one aspect, an alarm mount is provided which has a wall bracket for mounting the alarm mount. Alarm peripheral CHARACTERIZED by comprising a wall bracket (38) for mounting said alarm peripheral to a surface (36), a sensor device (63) mountable to said wall bracket (38), a battery pack (53) for supplying power to said alarm peripheral by means of connection means (50), wherein said battery pack (53) is disposed within a space (39) of said wall bracket (38), and wherein said wall bracket (38) comprises an opening (45) for said space (39) and a hatch (47) configured to close said opening (45), the opening (45) through which said battery pack (38) is inserted.
2. Alarm peripheral, according to claim 1, CHARACTERIZED in that said opening (45) and hatch (47) are disposed in a bottom portion (46) of said wall support (38).
3. Alarm peripheral, according to claim 1 or 2, CHARACTERIZED in that said hatch (47) is articulated and / or fastened by means of screws (48) to said wall bracket (38).

10. Alarm peripheral, according to claim 9, CHARACTERIZED in that said slide (55) comprises numerous compartments (56) designed to house a battery of said battery pack (53). Battery-operated camera peripheral for a residential or small business alarm system CHARACTERIZED by comprising a battery compartment and a camera module, the battery compartment being adapted for mounting to a wall or other mounting surface, wherein the battery compartment and the camera module each comprise a coupling element, the respective coupling elements being mutually arranged to allow the camera module to be mounted in the battery compartment and further arranged to allow the camera module to be oriented independently of the battery compartment.
