A computer-implemented method according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises: receiving, during the ongoing gameplay of the video game and through the second control layout on the second display device, additional control inputs associated with the video game displayed on the first display device; detecting an additional trigger event associated with the video game that requires the first control layout for the second display device; and causing the second display device to replace the second control layout with the first control layout.

11. A system, characterized in that it comprises: at least one physical processor; and physical memory comprising computer executable instructions which, when executed by the at least one physical processor, cause the at least one physical processor to perform acts comprising: Petition 870250087976, dated 09 / 29 / 2025, page 59 / 70 4 / 7 in response to a detected selection of a video game by means of a first display device, converting a second display device into a game controller with a first control layout; receiving, from the second display device and by means of the first control layout, one or more control inputs associated with the video game displayed on the first display device; detecting a trigger event associated with the video game that requires a second control layout for the second display device; and causing the second display device to replace the first control layout with the second control layout.

12. System according to claim 11, characterized in that the first screen device is physically separated from the second screen device.

13. System, according to claim 11, characterized in that receiving, from the second screen device and through the first control layout, one or more control inputs associated with the video game displayed on the first screen device, comprises receiving one or more touch gesture inputs, press-and-hold touch gesture inputs, press-and-slide touch gesture inputs, multi-finger touch gesture inputs, variable pressure touch gesture inputs, sound inputs, or gyroscopic inputs.

14. System, according to claim 11, characterized in that detecting the trigger event associated with the video game that requires the second control layout for the second screen device comprises: determining a type associated with the trigger event; and determining that the type of trigger event requires a control layout that is different from the first control layout.

15. System, according to claim 11, characterized in that detecting the trigger event associated with the video game that requires the second control layout for the second screen device comprises detecting at least one of: a predetermined point in the video game, a predetermined level in the video game, a predetermined character in the video game, a predetermined object in the video game, a preference request associated with a user of the second screen device, an accessibility selection received through the first control layout, or an interaction with a specific video game controller within the first control layout.

16. System according to claim 11, characterized in that it further comprises computer executable instructions which, when executed by at least one physical processor, cause at least one physical processor to perform an action comprising, in response to detection of the trigger event, generating the second control layout for the second display device based on the trigger event.

17. System according to claim 16, characterized in that generating the second control layout for the second screen device based on the trigger event comprises: determining, based on the video game, one or more video game controls correlated with the trigger event; and assembling the one or more video game controls in the second control layout.

18. System according to claim 17, characterized in that causing the second screen device to replace the first control layout with the second control layout comprises: generating display instructions comprising instructions to remove the first control layout from the second screen device and instructions to display one or more video game controls on the second control layout; and providing the display instructions for the second screen device.

A system according to claim 11, characterized in that it further comprises computer executable instructions which, when executed by at least one physical processor, cause at least one physical processor to perform acts comprising: receiving, during the ongoing game of the video game and by means of the second control layout on the second display device, additional control inputs associated with the video game displayed on the first display device; detecting an additional trigger event associated with the video game that requires the first control layout for the second display device; and causing the second display device to replace the second control layout with the first control layout.

20. Non-transient computer-readable medium, characterized in that it comprises one or more computer-executable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing device, cause the computing device to: in response to a detected selection of a video game via a first display device, convert a second display device into a game controller with a first control layout; receive, from the second display device and via the first control layout, one or more control inputs associated with the video game displayed on the first display device; detect a trigger event associated with the video game that requires a second control layout for the second display device; and cause the second display device to replace the first control layout with the second control layout.
