Description

/ 6 Educational Robotics Kit via Greenhouse Technical Field

[001] The following invention report describes the development of a laboratory greenhouse using a microprocessor for the purpose of teaching children about robotics, sustainability and ecology. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[002] It is evident that there are projects that use the Arduino microprocessor for the development of greenhouses, however, they do not integrate many components nor are they designed for teaching the construction process itself, that is, they do not have a design geared towards easy assembly / disassembly and / or reuse of materials. In addition, the data obtained is used to monitor agricultural or domestic seedlings, not for the observation and teaching of their results in a school laboratory environment. These also do not have a casing designed and conceived for the acts of irrigation and maintenance of the cultivation, such as, for example, cleaning the pots.

[003] Several patent documents describe monitoring systems in greenhouses.

[004] Patent document CN107808580 discloses an intelligent greenhouse teaching simulation system based on the Internet of Things. The system includes a monitoring terminal located in a greenhouse. The monitoring terminal includes an information processing unit, a greenhouse environment acquisition unit, and a greenhouse environment control unit that are connected to the information processing unit. Petition 870200002636, dated 07 / 01 / 2020, page 9 / 72 The 2 / 6 information processing unit is connected to an internet access gateway. The gateway is connected to a GSM communication module.

[005] Patent document CN105528934 discloses a greenhouse teaching simulation equipment for agriculture, comprising a main body of hardware equipment and a supporting software system, wherein the main body of hardware equipment is mainly composed of a GEC210 display panel, a greenhouse control equipment development board, a ZigBee acquisition module, connectors, cables and the like, and auxiliary equipment includes a laptop computer and an Android mobile phone; the ZigBee acquisition module mainly comprises an infrared induction sensor, a sound sensor, a temperature and humidity sensor, a short-range infrared trigger, an infrared smoke sensor and a photosensitive sensor; the GEC210 display panel is connected to the Android mobile phone via USB WIFI and can be connected to the laptop or a PC server wired or wirelessly; In addition, the supporting software system mainly comprises an information acquisition system, an intelligent control system, and an intelligent video monitoring system.

[006] Patent document CN202904992 discloses a miniature smart greenhouse for teaching purposes, including a main greenhouse body, an environmental monitoring unit that is housed within the main greenhouse body and is used to monitor the internal environment of the main body in real time, and a control unit that is used to control the internal environment of the main greenhouse body in Petition 870200002636, dated 07 / 01 / 2020, page 10 / 72 3 / 6 real-time. A GPS tracking device and an RFID read / write card device are installed on or next to the main body of the greenhouse. The miniature smart agricultural greenhouse has the advantages of compact structure, innovative and reasonable design, and convenient processing and production. It is a miniature replica of a real agricultural greenhouse and can be used to allow students to learn related knowledge and technologies in the laboratory, conveniently observing each component and function carefully. Furthermore, the knowledge learned can be applied to every acquisition and control system of the greenhouse.

[007] Also known are non-patent documents: - TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY CONTROL OF A LOW-COST GREENHOUSE Carlos Antônio Maximiano Alves Neto; Jorge Alexandre Borges Maximiano; Nilo Krasnievicz Amaral; Rodolpho Schwingel Anhanguera Faculty of Rondonópolis - Computer Science; - TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A GREENHOUSE WITH MONITORING VIA APPLICATION ORLEM LD SANTOS, JO DSM JUNIOR, MENDELSSON RM NEVES Department of Electrical Engineering - Federal University of Roraima (UFRR); and - AUTOMATED GREENHOUSE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR VEGETABLE CULTIVATION Douglas Guilherme Fernandes, Evandro Preuss, Teresinha Leticia da Silva Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). PROBLEM WITH THE TECHNIQUE

[008] Despite the existence of several systems of Petition 870200002636, dated 07 / 01 / 2020, page 11 / 72 4 / 6 Greenhouse monitoring, including the use of microprocessors for humidity and temperature controls, many of the systems presented are more complex in their construction, requiring users to have greater skills in their assembly. PROPOSED SOLUTION

[009] Thus, due to the considerations pertinent to the state of the art discussed above, one of the objectives of the present invention now proposed is to develop a robotics kit that is easy to build, as it is intended to serve as a learning tool for children. Therefore, the proposed kit has the following objectives: - Robotic kit that makes it possible to assemble and disassemble both the greenhouse parts and the sensors for modifications; - To enable learning in robotics (provided by the various sensors and Arduino in general), ecology (greenhouse effect and plant planting) and sustainability (due to the use of reused materials such as pots); - Due to the Bluetooth connection via the mobile application developed in conjunction with the greenhouse, operation is done via smartphone, a widely used and easy-to-use device for the public, thus making it attractive and intuitive. DESCRIPTION

[010] The present invention is characterized by means of representative drawings of the educational robotics kit via greenhouse, in such a way that the product can be fully reproduced by appropriate technique, allowing full characterization of the functionality of the object claimed.

[011] Based on the elaborate figures that best express Petition 870200002636, dated 07 / 01 / 2020, page 12 / 72 5 / 6 The preferred form or method of realizing the product now conceived is based on the descriptive part of the report, through a detailed and consecutive numbering, which clarifies aspects that may be implied by the representation adopted, in order to clearly determine the protection now sought.

[012] These figures are merely illustrative and may present variations, provided they do not deviate from what was initially requested.

[013] In this case, it is necessary to: Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the greenhouse with three modules joined together; Figure 2 shows three modules joined together without the lid and fitting and support structures; Figure 3 shows hexagonal sections of the lid in exploded view; and Figure 4 shows an exploded view of the base and cooler components.

[014] The educational robotics kit includes: - A printed manual containing general product information, such as assembly instructions, how to make the pots, program operation, and information on planting the plants; - Three packets containing seeds of three different herbs, which will be the plants used according to the level of difficulty and care required; - It has an app for use on smartphones, which allows you to modify and monitor the greenhouse functions via Bluetooth communication; - Three greenhouse modules with water tanks, arranged according to the plant's growth pattern: the smallest module for planting seeds, with space for four pots; the medium module with space for three pots; and the large module with space for one large pot. Petition 870200002636, dated 07 / 01 / 2020, page 13 / 72 6 / 6

[015] The greenhouse with three modules is assembled from a base (4), where on said base (4) are arranged the support for the small pot (6), support for the large pot (11) and the support for the medium pot (14), each of these supports containing its respective lid (1), equipped with a handle (13) and containing the Arduino microprocessor (20), support (21) for the microprocessor, support for the lighting system (22) and the protection of the lighting system (23).

[016] Each of the modules is made up of small (2), medium (17) and large (9) fitting rods, which are mounted, respectively, on the fitting and support structures of the small base (5), fitting and support structure of the medium base (15) and fitting and support structure of the large base (10), resulting in small, medium and large hexagonal structures, respectively, covered laterally by a protection (3, 16 and 12), for example, acetate, these protections being fitted into the profile (26) that sits on the base (27), leaving the cooler (24) and its respective support (25) on top.

[017] The kit includes small (8) and medium (18) water tanks, each fitted with an inner lid (7) and an outer lid (19). Petition 870200002636, dated 07 / 01 / 2020, page 14 / 72
