Abstract

Reusable fastening clamp. Refers to a device consisting of a toothed strip (3) and a double head (1) with two latches (2), where one end of the toothed strip (3) must be fastened to one of the latches (2) of the double head (1) without any excess or to the user's satisfaction, while the other end must go around the objects to be fastened, fastening to the other latch (2) of the head, passing through it until the fastened objects are firmly secured, forming a kind of seal. For the user to continue using the excess toothed strip (3), simply cut the strip as close as possible to the head or where they deem necessary in order to use the excess with a new head for fastening new objects. After securing the object with this device, if it is necessary to remove the clamp, the double head (1) can also be reused. To do this, simply cut the toothed strip that holds the object and push it out of the double head, releasing it. After use, to reuse it, simply cut the shorter end of the toothed strip (3), releasing the other end so that it can be completely removed and the process can be started again.

Description

1 / 2 “REUSABLE FASTENING CLAMP”.

[001] This utility model application refers to a “Reusable Fastening Clamp”, which allows the clamp to be cut and reused several times.

[002] In the state of the art, the use of cable ties, whether made of nylon or metal, is widespread for fastening and organizing, especially wires, cables and other elements, being used in industrial and domestic applications. Due to the arrangement of the teeth on the band, after insertion into the head, one-way locking occurs, preventing retraction.

[003] Conventional cable ties are disposable because, after use, the excess portion of the tape is cut off and discarded, generating waste accumulation and environmental impact.

[004] This Utility Model proposes a clamp composed of a double head (1) with two locks (2) and a toothed strip (3), whose teeth (4) have a square profile, allowing them to be locked in both directions when inserted into the locks (2) of the double head (1). The locks (2) are angled in the same direction, so that each tooth (4), when passing through them, is prevented from returning in the opposite direction to the locking. After fixing, if removal is necessary, simply cut the toothed strip (3) flush with the shorter end (5) inserted into the head (1), freeing the structure for reuse. The residual internal portion should be removed and discarded. The double head (1) can be reused for new fixings or for splicing toothed strips (3), reducing waste.

[005] Drawing no. 1 / 6, fig. 1.1, shows the head ( 1 ) in side section.

[006] Drawing no. 2 / 6, fig. 1.2, shows the toothed tape ( 3 ) in side view. Petition 870260064933, dated 01 / 07 / 2026, page 5 / 7 2 / 2

[007] Drawing no. 3 / 6, fig. 1.3, shows the initial insertion of the toothed tape ( 3 ) into the head ( 1 ).

[008] Drawing no. 4 / 6, fig. 1.4, shows both ends of the tape ( 3 ) locked onto the head ( 1 ).

[009] Drawing no. 5 / 6, fig. 1.5, shows the cut of the shorter end ( 5 ).

[010] Drawing under No. 6 / 6, fig. 1.6, demonstrates the removal of the toothed tape ( 3 ).

[011] As illustrated, the clamp comprises a toothed strip (3) with square-profile teeth (4), suitable for bidirectional locking in the locks (2) of the double head (1). One end of the toothed strip (3) is inserted into one of the locks (2), while the other end wraps around the objects to be fixed, being inserted into the other lock (2), ensuring firm fixation.

[012] After use, reuse is made possible by cutting the smaller end (5), allowing the tape to be removed and the process restarted. The tape can be replaced or spliced, and the head (1) reused while intact. Petition 870260064933, dated 01 / 07 / 2026, p. 6 / 7
