Abstract
Description
1 / 4 CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT IN DOORMAT SUPPORT
[01] The present utility model describes a constructive arrangement in a doormat support. More specifically, it comprises a base equipped with a hinged folding handle that forms a non-slip surface, on said base being positioned an absorbent material that can be soaked or sprayed with a bactericidal solution or even be partially immersed in a pre-existing bactericidal solution in the tray in order to be transferred to the surface of said absorbent material to promote the disinfection of shoe soles.
[02] Doormats are mats placed at entrance doors to environments with the function of sanitizing the soles of shoes, in order to remove dirt.
[03] More strongly with the advent of the pandemic and the need to eliminate germs and bacteria from footwear, clothing and items that enter enclosed environments, the state of the art reveals a profusion of technical solutions being offered to users, from the simplest, with the spraying of a germicidal or bactericidal agent on the sole, to bactericidal mats.
[04] Document PI9603687 describes a bactericidal disinfectant mat consisting of two compartments, the first being provided with a sheet of absorbent material positioned inside the tray and the second compartment consisting of absorbent porous fabric.
[05] Document MU8902739 describes a shoe sanitizing mat equipped with two receiving platforms attached one after the other and with two internal pads on each platform. Petition 870200065648, dated 05 / 27 / 2020, page 4 / 14 2 / 4 moistened with a mixture of water and chemical agents for disinfecting shoe soles.
[06] Document MU8801523 describes an arrangement applied to a mat equipped with tubes and a pressure pump for dispensing sanitizing and cleaning products onto the mat.
[07] Document BR202016002358 describes a mat with a removable reservoir of sanitizing liquid, for sanitizing footwear, provided with a base that has, on one side, a drying mat and on the other side a reservoir containing sanitizing liquid in which tentacles are provided that transfer the product, by absorption, to an upper abrasive layer where the user first cleans the sole and immediately next to it removes the excess of this liquid.
[08] Despite the solutions described in the state of the art, the available structures do not allow the adaptation of a conventional doormat, providing a simplified structure, low cost and easy to execute and install, accessible and capable of being popularized.
[09] Thus, the present utility model object is a doormat support that allows adapting the pre-existing doormat by fitting it into the base, providing a surface moistened with a bactericidal agent.
[010] In order to better describe the characteristics of the constructive arrangement in support for doormats, the following figures are presented:
[011] Figure 1A shows a perspective view of the support with the front extension fully extended and Figure 1B shows a perspective view with the front extension folded down along the bottom face of the tray. Petition 870200065648, dated 05 / 27 / 2020, page 5 / 14 3 / 4
[012] Figure 2A shows a perspective view of the support with the front extension folded down along the bottom face of the tray and Figure 2B shows the front extension folded down on the bottom face of the tray.
[013] Figure 3 shows the exploded view highlighting the support and the absorbent material.
[014] Figure 4 shows a perspective view highlighting the support with the absorbent material fitted into the tray.
[015] The constructive arrangement in support for doormat, object of the present utility model, comprises a tray (10) in the form of a rigid base with a periphery provided with orthogonal walls and an upper opening (101), said tray (10) provided with an articulated front extension (11) that forms a kind of handle and which, when folded against the lower face of said tray (10), provides a non-slip surface.
[016] The articulated front extension (11) may be made of rigid or flexible material, such as, for example, a textile or plastic surface that articulates with the tray (10) by means of a fold.
[017] In the upper opening (101) of the tray (10) and limited laterally by the orthogonal walls, an absorbent material (20) is positioned, which directly receives a bactericidal solution, by spraying or pouring, or by absorption by partial immersion in a bactericidal solution pre-existing in the tray (10), transferring to the surface of said absorbent material (20) the bactericidal agent for the sanitization and asepsis of the soles of the shoes.
[018] Optionally, the tray (10) may constitute a reservoir to hold the bactericidal solution so that the user can position the sole to, Petition 870200065648, dated 05 / 27 / 2020, page 6 / 14 Next, dry on a doormat or similar surface before entering the room.
