Abstract
Description
1 / 3 Improvements in Mortar Projector
[001] The present innovation is situated in the field of civil construction, more specifically in finishes, namely a mortar projector improved by its shaft protector and new positioning of the mortar box.
[002] It is very common during the operation of machines that do not have a support on the front end of the shaft, for the shaft to bend and even break. This happens due to the pressure that occurs between the rollers and the track. The rollers press against the hose to expel the mortar. This occurs when the operator is projecting the mortar vertically to heights above 6m or as a result of blockages in the hose, where the machine makes an excessive effort to project. This is where the bending and even breakage of the shaft occurs.
[003] In a thorough analysis of the state of the art, a gap is perceived with regard to mortar projectors equipped with a shaft support and coupled mass box, as can be seen from patent CA261495, Mortar projector, by Oliver Albert, filed on June 8, 1926, which discloses an apparatus having a nozzle means for conducting pressurized air to said nozzle and means for providing plastic fixing material in the path of the air entering said nozzle, said material being provided in the path of said air in a direction approximately corresponding with the direction of said air, said means incorporating a throat in conjunction with the nozzle in said passage, the leading edge of said throat hanging from the supply of said air.
[004] Furthermore, patent application MU 8200855, Mortar Projecting Machine CG 500, dated April 12, 2002, belonging to Vera Noronha Padilha, presents a machine for applying premixed cement-based plasters, gypsum and lightweight insulators to internal and external walls and ceilings, with which any dry premixed mortar, regardless of granulometry or origin of manufacture, is placed in a basket containing a spoked wheel elevator with variable volume control operated by a Petition 870210025511, dated 03 / 18 / 2021, page 8 / 13 2 / 3 of the motor and gearbox assembly, which will transport the dry mortar through a guide rail to the access chamber, and from there it will pass to the mixing cylinder where it receives added water, which is incorporated into the dry mortar. Exiting the mixing cylinder, the mortar mixed with water passes through a mortar pump with auger and rubber stator. The entire mixing and pumping assembly is driven by a motor and gearbox assembly. Once pressurized, the mortar with water is carried by a hose to a gun with a deflector, at which point it is mixed with compressed air; sourced from a pneumatic compressor with a quadruple head, oil-free, and driven by a double-shaft motor that also incorporates rotor-type fans.and which comes through the hose and through the minimum flow valve, through a variable positioning tube, proportional to the nozzle diameter, to the deflector from where the mortar will be projected homogeneously onto the substrate; the machine can also work with ready-mixed mortar left over from screeding operations, through the use of the mortar feed funnel with lid and screen that fits into a window with corner brackets fixed to the mixing chamber, noting that in this operation the spoked wheel elevator with variable volume control must remain stationary.
[005] Finally, document GB246924, Improvements in or relating to mortar projectors, deposited by Albert Oliver on November 6, 1924, discloses a pressure air tube in a mortar projector which is disposed under the throat of the supply hopper, which has means of guiding the material in the direction of supply and air delivery and of preventing the material from falling directly through the air tube and choking. In one case, the guiding means consists of a curved projection, while in a modification it consists of a rotating device operated by air pressure. A supplementary air pressure supply may be provided in the hopper to increase the action. The front of the delivery tube is elongated transversely and widened outwards and provided with teeth or crossbars to break up the mortar. Petition 870210025511, dated 03 / 18 / 2021, p. 9 / 13 3 / 3
[006] In view of the gaps in the technique, the innovation proposed is a mortar projector, improved by means of a shaft protector fitted to the bearing and housing, fixed to the machine structure and mortar box positioned on the machine structure.
[007] The projector is equipped with a support for the central axis (1) with bearing and housing with mass reservoir (2) coupled to the structure (3) of the machine.
[008] When the machine is switched on, the rollers begin to rotate in a circular motion where the mortar, already in its reservoir, coupled close to the rollers, no longer forces the machine to perform suction. Thus, the mortar passes through the hose positioned on the track, where it will be compressed by the rollers and, in this way, does not strain the shaft due to its support, and thus the mortar is expelled by the pressure.
[009] Innovation can be better understood with the help of figures.
[010] Figure 1 shows an exploded perspective view of the projector.
[011] In summary, the innovation, through the shaft support, solves the problem of warping and cracking in the central shaft and, through the coupling of the mass box, solves the problem of supplying the projector.
[012] This innovation is not limited to the representations discussed or illustrated herein and should be understood in its broad scope. Many modifications and other representations of the innovation will come to mind for those skilled in the art to which this innovation pertains, having the benefit of the teaching set forth in the preceding descriptions and accompanying drawings. Furthermore, it is to be understood that the innovation is not limited to the specific form disclosed, and that modifications and other forms are understood to be included within the scope of the appended claims. Although specific terms are employed herein, they are used only in a generic and descriptive manner and not for the purpose of limitation. Petition 870210025511, dated 03 / 18 / 2021, page 10 / 13
