Description

1 / 3 CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN PIPE SUPPORT

[001] This utility model patent relates to a new constructive arrangement introduced in a support for pipelines, belonging to the technical sector of civil construction with application in the area of basic sanitation, more particularly it relates to a support that forms a cradle in high-density EPS of type “F”, with flame retardant additive, developed to accommodate and protect pipelines of water supply networks, providing very advantageous practical, safe and functional results.

[002] Currently, water supply pipelines are supported by supports made of reinforced concrete or metal structures, which are extremely heavy, making transportation and handling in the field difficult, causing the sanitation work to be slower, due to the longer time required for its installation and, therefore, increasing the costs of assembling the pipelines.

[003] Thus, to solve the problem of the state of the art, the new EPS pipe support was developed, which with its new constructive arrangement, solves the inconveniences of productivity and costs in basic sanitation works, in addition to providing other advantages resulting from its design.

[004] The present utility model patent will be better understood through the attached drawings which schematically represent: Figure 1 - Perspective view of the new constructive arrangement introduced in pipe supports; Figure 2 - front view of the support; Figure 3 - side view of the support; Petition 870210089279, dated 09 / 28 / 2021, page 5 / 17 2 / 3 Figure 4 - detail A indicated in figure 3; Figure 5 - detail B indicated in figure 3; Figure 6 - perspective view of an initial constructive variant of the pipe support; and Figure 7 - Perspective view of a second constructive variant of the pipe support.

[005] According to figures 1 to 5, the new constructive arrangement introduced in pipe supports comprises a single parallelepipedal piece (1) in high-density EPS of type “F”, solid, weighing approximately 1.4 kgf / m (one kilogram and four hundred grams per linear meter), manufactured by means of specific cuts with hot wire, forming on the upper face a semicircular channel (2) according to the diameter of the pipe to be supported, on the front face a trapezoidal protrusion (3) and on the rear face a recess of the same shape (4), forming a male-female type fitting.

[006] According to figure 6, in a first constructive variant, the single piece (1) on the front face will be provided with a rectangular protrusion (31) and on the back face with a recess of the same shape (41).

[007] According to figure 7, in a second constructive variant, the single piece (1) on the front face will be provided with a semicircular projection (32) and on the back face with a recess of the same shape (42).

[008] With the constructive arrangement introduced in pipe support, this will function as a support for the pipelines, that is, the parts (1) will be connected to each other by means of the male-female fitting of the protrusions (3) in the recesses (4) and the pipes will be supported along their entire length in the channels (2) on the upper face of the parts (1) which will be arranged sequentially. Petition 870210089279, dated 09 / 28 / 2021, p. 6 / 17 3 / 3

[009] The new constructive arrangement introduced in pipe supports, as designed, offers the following advantages: Lighter than existing cribs; - Easy to handle and install; - On-site adjustments can be made by cutting with hand tools (knife, saw, utility knife); - Due to its low weight (± 1.4 kgf / m), it is easy to transport in the field (especially in hard-to-reach places, and can even be carried manually); - It has good compressive strength; - It is environmentally friendly because it does not release waste, does not pollute the soil or the water table (because it is inert); Even when buried, it does not lose its physical, chemical, and mechanical properties; and - It reduces construction time and costs. [ 010] The scope of the present utility model, therefore, should not be limited to the construction details and its application, but rather only to the terms defined in the claims and their equivalents.
