5 A new arrangement introduced in a brake and parking assembly for panel systems to close gaps. TECHNICAL FIELD

[001] This utility model relates to an arrangement introduced in a braking and parking assembly for panel systems for closing openings such as boxes, windows, partitions and the like. Said braking and parking assembly includes communicating stabilizing elements for glass panels with simplified and effective construction characteristics that promote controlled sliding and safe parking of the glass panels of closing systems for exposing the opening. HISTORY OF THE TECHNIQUE

[002] It is known that conventional window closing systems include a set of brakes and parking mechanisms for the glass panels, and that this set is made up of communicating parts that allow the panels to be parked, especially when articulated to open the windows.

[003] The parking element of the assembly generally consists of a U-shaped plastic piece whose side walls develop a perpendicular laminar projection that forms a central channel for the passage of the structure coupled to the glass panel, and which may include a set of semicircular recesses distributed along the length of the laminar projection, designed to accommodate the brake body. These parking elements are generally mounted at one end of upper and lower intermediate profiles, which in turn are mounted on base profiles belonging to the span closure systems.

[004] The aforementioned brake, in turn, is comprised of a piece of oblong, circular or other similar shape in whose central portion is mounted a support shaft for the pulleys which also integrates, at one end, a plate for fixing to the profiles of the glass panels.

[005] It happens that during the sliding of the panels to open the gap, the engagement between the brake and parking brake can cause the panels to tilt, an effect known as 'panel drop', mainly because they do not provide stabilizing means of Petition 870210112041, dated 02 / 12 / 2021, page 7 / 25 / 5 opening and closing, a fact that can generate vibrations in the panels, as well as, during use, causing damage to the system parts and generating misalignments of the panels, in addition to the need for periodic maintenance, a fact that implies costs for the purchaser of the system. [006] Research conducted in specialized databases revealed documents relating to brake and parking assemblies for window and door closure systems, such as that presented in document no. BR 20.2014.0153743, which deals with a parking profile for balcony glazing, consisting of a rectangular body provided on its upper face with two small cylindrical elevations and two small holes for fixing screws, one of its ends has a circular pointed protrusion, while its other end has an opening with the same shape as the protrusion to allow connection of the profiles, the inner wall of the profile has curved inlets from which the flange extends.

[007] Document no. BR 10.2019.021286-1 presents a glazing system for closing balconies, verandas, and other openings in residences, commercial establishments, and, mainly, buildings; said glazing system comprises U-shaped cross-section rail profiles with inverted 'L' shaped upper ends where longitudinal slots are provided for mounting brush profiles, while on the inner faces of each side wall of the same profile, orthogonal walls are projected to compose rails for the sliding of the pulley and rails for mounting the stops and parking profiles that receive the pivot brake; juxtaposed to the rail profiles are installed the bed profiles with a central recess for mounting the edges of the glass panels.

[008] Thus, it is a fact that the documents cited in the paragraphs above, despite belonging to the same field of application, do not present any of the characteristics of the object now improved, thus guaranteeing that it meets the legal requirements for patentability. FUNCTIONAL IMPROVEMENTS Petition 870210112041, dated 02 / 12 / 2021, page 8 / 25 / 5 One of the functional improvements of the present utility model consists in the fact that the brake and parking assembly includes communicating stabilizing elements that enable the stable and vibration-free sliding of the glass panels, as well as effective parking, eliminating the risk of the 'falling' effect of the panels and, consequently, avoiding constant maintenance to the other parts of the system. Advantages Obtained

[009] One of the advantages is that the brake stabilizer element that makes up the assembly consists of end tabs shaped to match the receiving channels provided in the parking lot, thus enabling the safe installation of the glass panels.

[010] Another advantage relates to the fact that the parking lot integrated into the complex features a new construction that enables savings in raw materials for manufacturing the part, a fact that brings financial advantages to the manufacturer.

[011] Another advantage of the brake and parking assembly is that the new configuration of both eliminates the need to include additional parts such as retainers, guide plates or panel guides for stabilization, which, in addition to saving money on sales, facilitates the assembly of the glazing system for openings. [025] With reference to the illustrated drawings, the present utility model refers to an ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN A BRAKE AND PARKING ASSEMBLY FOR PANELS OF A SYSTEM FOR CLOSING OPENINGS, a brake (11) and parking (12) assembly (10) for closing panels (PF), said brake (11) being composed of a piece (11A) provided with a central hole (11e) that receives a support shaft (e1) of the pulley (Rd) and a plate (Cp) for connection with the profile (p1) of the closing panel (PF) of a system for closing openings (SF) such as boxes, balconies, windows, room dividers, among others.

[026] According to the present utility model, said brake (11) and parking (12) assembly (10) integrates corresponding stabilizing elements (ERC1) and (ERC2) that make up the locking between them for the stable rotation (r) of the panel (PF) when the opening (V) is opened, wherein the stabilizing element (ERC1) Petition 870210112041, dated 02 / 12 / 2021, p. 10 / 25 / 5 provided for in the brake (11) is comprised of a pair of teeth (11B) provided for on the extreme edges of the part (11A) that makes up the brake (11) and that are formed by the practice of arched recesses (11b1) and (11b2) practiced on the lower face of the part (11A), especially, close to the arched edges (11c1) and (11c2). Said pair of teeth (11B) that make up the stabilizing element (ERC1) corresponds to the stabilizing element (ERC2) provided for in the parking (12).

[027] Said brake (11) provides a central recess (11d) made on the upper face and where a keyed cutout (11e) is provided for mounting the shaft (e1), as well as a through hole (11f) made in accordance with the longitudinal axis (L1) for receiving the floor (Pn) for fixing the brake (11) to the support shaft (e1).

[028] The stabilizing elements (ERC2) provided in the parking (12), (figures 4A to 4D), are comprised of arched recesses (12b) made on the edge of the profile (12a) that makes up the parking (12) and interspersed by straight sections (12b1) to assist in the sliding of the brake (11), the upper surface of each arched recess (12b) having a recess (12b2), also in an arch and corresponding to the teeth (11B) of the brake (11) for exact accommodation when articulating the panel (PF) (figure 5A), as well as when disposing of them in rest mode (figure 5B) avoiding the effect of the panels (PF) falling.

[029] Said profile (12a) that makes up the parking space (12) has free male ends (12a') and opposite female ends (12a) with corresponding semicircular shapes for coupling other parking spaces (12'). Said body (12a) also provides a longitudinal edge (12C) of greater thickness and provided with a lower longitudinal cutout (12c1) intended for coupling the continuous projection (P2a) provided in the intermediate profile (P2) of the span closing system (SF) (see figure 1B), and on the opposite face of the same longitudinal edge (12C) a trapezoidal profile (12d) with a semicircular projection (12d') is developed for accommodation in the span of the intermediate profile (P2).
