[001] This utility model patent relates to a practical and innovative model of flexible packaging tape, sachet type, belonging to the field of packaging, more precisely for the packaging and marketing of medicines in general, however it can be used to package other products that the technique allows and to which an original constructive arrangement has been given, with a view to improving its use and performance in relation to other models usually found on the market.

[002] This is an improvement in sachet-type packaging, supplied in a continuous strip where the sachets, which have a side opening, are positioned in series and interspersed with perforated lines. The continuous strip containing the sachets is formed into a roll.

[003] The flexible packaging tape, in sachet form, was developed primarily for packaging compounded medications, but it can be used for packaging various other products.

[004] The patent application in question therefore presents a tool that is specially designed and developed to achieve great practicality and that offers significant advantages, both in its use and in its manufacture.

[008] In more detail, flexible sachet-type packaging comprises a flexible, typically square-shaped container made from polymeric material that may or may not have a barrier, depending on the product to be contained.

[009] In their usual form, these flexible sachet-type packaging consist of two films, typically square polymeric, placed against each other and joined by welding lines on three of their sides, so that the side without the weld comprises the opening for the insertion of the respective products and subsequent closure by an appropriate technique, which depends on the material.

[013] Patent document MU80027571, entitled COIL OF PLASTIC BAGS FOLDED IN TWO OR MORE PARTS WITH PERFORATIONS TO CONTAIN AND DETACH ONE BY ONE, discloses a coil with flexible and tubular plastic bags that are first extruded in their manufacturing process, receiving a homogeneous weld. [014] Patent document BR 112012028523-8 B1, entitled PACKAGING WITH ORIGINAL OPENING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPENING THE PACKAGING, discloses packaging and a method for opening packaging. The packaging includes a first film and a second film forming an envelope and at least one guide area that defines an interior volume configured to receive a product.The packaging further includes a first burstable bubble formed in a first flap portion of at least one flap area; and a second burstable bubble formed in a second flap portion of at least one flap area, the first burstable bubble and the second burstable bubble being portions of a single burstable bubble, wherein sufficient fluid is trapped in the first burstable bubble and the second burstable bubble, such that, upon application of pressure by a user to at least one flap area, the first burstable bubble bursts, separating a first sealed portion of the first film and the second film to form a first burst passage between the packaging and the first flap portion, and the second burstable bubble bursts, separating a second sealed portion of the first film and the second film to form a second burst passage. [015] The major drawback of individually supplied sachets lies in the fact that they do not allow for any type of automation in the filling of the products, which can only be done manually, a process that imposes substantial time on the operation, resulting in high costs.

[016] Another drawback attributed to this sachet model is the impossibility for the end user to print any type of information on its structure before the sachets are filled, using conventional printers such as inkjet, thermal, and similar printers. It is observed that it is of great interest, especially to compounding pharmacies, to include information regarding the contents of the sachet, such as data on the packaged product, personalization information, expiration date, etc.

[017] In addition, the sealing or closing of this type of sachet must be done individually, which makes the process time-consuming and consequently expensive.

[018] In turn, the sachet supplied in a roll, such as the object disclosed in patent document PI 0705163-8 B1, entitled IMPROVEMENT IN THE METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SACHET-TYPE PACKAGING, although it allows printing on its structure by the end user, using conventional printers, presents the same drawbacks as the individual sachet. This is because each unit to be used must be detached from the tape, cutting the perforated separation line, and then manually filled and individually closed. [020] The object disclosed in patent document MU8002757-1, entitled ROLL OF PLASTIC BAGS FOLDED IN TWO OR MORE PARTS WITH PERFORATIONS TO CONTAIN AND DETACH ONE BY ONE, comprises a plurality of bag-shaped packages supplied on a roll and has a function and form distinct from the object of the present patent application. It defines the general state of the art, but does not present any similarity with the object of the present patent application.

[021] Patent document BR 112012028523-8 B1, entitled PACKAGING WITH The original opening device and method for opening the packaging does not reveal any object similar to the object of the present patent application, so it only defines the general state of the art. Proposed solution

[022] It was with these drawbacks in mind that, after numerous research and studies, the inventor, a person connected to the field, created and developed the object of this patent, conceiving a flexible packaging tape of the sachet type in which not only the mechanical and functional qualities were considered in the design of its manufacture, but also the shape, arrangement and location of its parts and components which, correctly Petition 870220032030, dated April 13, 2022, page 13 / 25 7 / 10 of those positions brought an increase in efficiency without incurring any costs.

[024] This patent application presents a practical and innovative model of flexible packaging tape, sachet type, with all the aesthetic and functional qualities, designed and developed according to the most modern techniques, thus enabling its most varied use, from use in the pharmaceutical industry to use in compounding pharmacies, as well as in industrial use in various cases.

[025] Its innovative format allows for an excellent level of functionality, offering a flexible sachet-type packaging tape model that has great practical utility, having been created primarily to enable automated filling and serial sealing in a continuous line, as well as allowing the end user to infuse information into its structure before filling, using conventional printers.

[026] The configuration of the utensil, the subject of this patent, in its new constructive form, comprises a plurality of sachets positioned in series on a continuous strip, such that each sachet is interspersed with a transverse perforation line, the novelty of which lies in the fact that said sachets have a lateral opening, which allows Petition 870220032030, dated April 13, 2022, page 14 / 25 8 / 10 that they are packaged and sealed without being detached from the tape, which allows for the automation of these processes, resulting in a substantial increase in productivity.

[027] It is therefore understandable that the packaging in question is extremely simple in its construction, and therefore easy to manufacture, yet it achieves excellent practical and functional results, offering an innovative design compared to known models.

[028] Designed with an innovative design, it results in a harmonious set, with a very peculiar and, above all, characteristic appearance, and, in addition to the constructive aspect, the model stands out for its versatility and ease of use. Brief description of the layout drawings

[030] In accordance with what is illustrated in the figures above, the ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN FLEXIBLE SACHET-TYPE PACKAGING TAPE, the subject of this patent, comprises a continuous tape formed by a plurality of square-geometric sachet-type packages, which have side openings. These side openings allow the units to be filled and subsequently sealed, still on the tape, without the need to remove the sachets from the tape, as is currently the case.

[031] In more detail, the flexible packaging tape of the sachet type (1), as presented, is made up of two polymer films (2) superimposed in parallel, joined together by a continuous welding line (3) on one of their longitudinal edges, which defines the bottom weld of each sachet, with the opposite longitudinal edges being separated, forming the opening (4) of the sachets.

[032] Along their lengths the polymer films (2) are joined together by transverse weld lines (5), which are distributed at regular intervals, and on these weld lines there are perforated lines (6) that divide them longitudinally in half. [035] In addition, it enables the end user to print relevant product information before bottling on conventional printers such as inkjet, thermal, laser and similar types.
