Description

{001} This utility model application refers to a motorized reel for electrical cables, with three independent rotation phases, in which it is demonstrated, in the study of its mechanical structure, to be a compact geometry, with smaller weight and dimensions, such that it can be used in medium-sized pickup trucks. {002} Currently, there is no similar equipment on the market, according to searches related to the model. The drive reels that were found are conventional ones with only one rotation, which perform the work slowly, hindering work efficiency. {003} The present reel is equipped with three independent drives, one for each cable roll, located inside the roll cylinders. Its operation can be performed by handling one cable section at a time, with the option of using a remote control, allowing a single operator to unwind or rewind the cable onto the reel. {004} The reel is supported by a stand, which is asymmetrical, with legs having different angles relative to the vertical, allowing the truck's axle load to remain within the specified limits. This is formed by three independent rollers corresponding to the three phases of transmission networks. Petition 870250007338, dated 01 / 29 / 2025, page 6 / 15 2 / 3 {005} The figures presented in the annex contribute to a better understanding of the functioning of this utility model application in accordance with its descriptive report. {006} FIGURE 1 shows an external side view, and another view passing through the center of the equipment. The view on the right shows the layers of wound cables on a roll, part (3). Part (1) shows a transverse tube, four fixed units, supporting the rings, the roller rotation tracks, and the electromechanical drives. Part 2 is the individual roll among the three that make up the reel. The drive is part (4), there are three independent ones allowing individual rotation of the rollers housing the cables. Part (5) deals with the roller support roller, six locations, one for each side of each roller. {007} FIGURE 2 shows the individual roll, with three identical ones. Part 6 shows supports on the faces of the semi-roll allowing for two-part assembly. Part 7 deals with the tubular outer ring, guiding the entry of electrical cables into the housing, free of sharp edges that could damage the insulation of the cables being transported. Part (8) shows the roll's side wall, double sheet metal, with radial rib discs, a construction that increases inertia and keeps the construction weight low. Part 9 shows the roll's cylinder, double-walled in thin steel sheets, having a circular shape and circular ribs that stiffen the construction against the pressure exerted by the layers of wound cables. {008} FIGURE 3 shows the support structure of the drive reel. It incorporates the supports for the independent roller bearings and also the supports for the electromechanical drives. Part (10) Petition 870250007338, dated 01 / 29 / 2025, page 7 / 15 3 / 3 is the upper support for the slewing rims, part (11) is the lower support for the slewing rims. Part (13) is the mounting bracket for the geared motor, which rotates each roller with independent control and action. This structure has supports offset for load distribution between the axles of the trucks it is intended to transport. {009} FIGURE 4 shows a pair of hoops on which each roller rotates independently. Part (12) is the fixed structure; Part (13) is the circular hoop, Part (6) deals with the supports for the two-part construction of each roller and Part 14 is the support roller for the rotating hoop of the drum at that location. {010} FIGURE 5 shows the roller drive gear. Part 15 is the gear crown, screwed onto the roller. Part (17) is the pinion coupled to the reducer output shaft, which moves the crown (15). Part (16) is a symmetrical face of the reducer mounting bracket of the drive assembly. {011} FIGURE 6 shows the compact drive assembly to be housed inside the reel. Part 18 is the coupling, part (19) is the drive gear pinion, part 20 is the mechanical speed reducer and part 21 is the electric motor. {012} FIGURE 7 shows the rim support roller fixed to the faces of each roller. Part (22) is the roller shaft; part 23 is the flanged roller cover rim guide (13) free rotation on bearing (24). This assembly carefully dimensioned with materials of improved mechanical resistance for reduced weight allows operation in medium pickup trucks.
