Description
[001] This utility model relates to an arrangement introduced in a manual blind control device between insulated glass panes, of the type installed in windows of residential, commercial and / or institutional buildings, said manual blind control device comprising a base and cover for housing the blind actuation mechanisms which eliminate the need for installing intermediate parts for fixing said device to the insulated glass, and each base and cover have additional constructive changes that make up a control device that is easily installed on the glass, as well as a more simplified configuration for its manufacture. HISTORY OF THE TECHNIQUE
[002] It is known that insulated glass blinds, also known as double glazing, are blinds arranged in a chamber formed between two panes of glass, whose lower, upper and side edges are fixed and sealed in metal frames or profiles. This configuration offers high efficiency in thermal and acoustic insulation, making the system suitable for application in public and private buildings, such as hospitals and clinics, as well as being widely used as room dividers. The encapsulation of the blinds prevents direct contact with external factors, such as dust and humidity, ensuring greater durability and reduced maintenance needs.
[003] The operation of blinds in insulated glass is carried out by means of a control device located on the outside of one of the panes of glass, which is responsible for varying the light and privacy of the room. This device usually consists of a housing that contains a mechanical transmission system, composed of a set of gears coupled to Petition 870250007436, dated 01 / 29 / 2025, page 8 / 37 / 9 an actuation mechanism, such as a cord or chain. The transmission system interacts with an external magnet positioned on the controller which, in turn, operates in conjunction with an internal magnet located in the isolated glass chamber.
[004] Pulling the cord or chain to one side or the other moves the gears mounted on an internal shaft of the device. The rotation of the gears causes the external magnet to rotate, generating a magnetic field that activates the internal magnet, which in turn remains connected to the movement shaft of the blind and, thus, the rotation is transmitted magnetically, resulting in linear movement (up and down) or angular adjustment of the slats to control the light.
[005] In the current state of the art, another model of blind controlled by an external device is identified, described in Patent No. BR 112015001645-6, which presents a device for controlling the operation of a group to move a curtain / awning housed in a double glazing. Said device being coupled to said movement group and comprising: at least one pulley that rotates around its own axis; the support means for the pulley, connected to said movement group and being suitable for allowing the rotation of the pulley; a rope ring at least partially wound around the pulley; means for transmitting said torque from the pulley to said movement group, so as to cause said movement. The support means are connected to a connecting element integral with said wall of said double glazing in said movement group.
[006] Although efficient, the aforementioned device has an important limitation: it requires the installation of a base piece, called a “connecting element”, on the glass, which is necessary for the other parts of the mechanism to be correctly positioned, as well as depending on an auxiliary lower piece for anchoring the rope for the system to function properly. Petition 870250007436, dated 01 / 29 / 2025, page 9 / 37 / 9
[007] Thus, aiming to improve the state of the art, the Applicant proposes, through this application, a new model of control device that eliminates the need for an intermediate piece connecting to the glass, resulting in a simpler and more efficient solution. Furthermore, the proposed device incorporates innovative constructive features in the gear assembly, designed to optimize the operational performance and efficiency of the system, as will be explained in more detail below. State of the Art Analysis
[008] Research conducted in specialized databases found documents related to the topic, such as, for example, document no. PI 9408564-1, which presents a device for operating a Venetian blind inside a chamber enclosed by two glass plates; the operating device uses a magnetic connection and comprises an internal decreasing gear mechanism, used to rotate the shaft that supports and operates the Venetian blind, and which is connected, by one of the parts of the magnetic connection, to an external increasing gear mechanism fixed to one of the glass plates.
[009] Another representative document of the state of the art is presented in document no. US2003145959, a cable-operated control system for a Venetian blind, in which a housing, attached to the head rail, holds a first drive wheel that is operationally connected to a driven link member that rotates in opposite directions to open and close the blind with rotation of the first drive wheel in opposite directions, and a second drive wheel that is operationally connected to the first drive wheel, so that the first drive wheel rotates in opposite directions with the rotation of the second drive wheel in opposite directions. An infinite loop operating cable is wound around the second drive wheel, so that an axial traction force is applied to only one of the dependent parts of the operating cable on opposite sides of the second wheel. Petition 870250007436, dated 01 / 29 / 2025, page 10 / 37 / 9 driving wheel causes the second driving wheel to rotate in one of the opposite directions.
[010] Thus, it is a fact that the documents cited in the paragraphs above, despite belonging to the same field of application, do not present any of the characteristics of the object now improved, thus guaranteeing that it meets the legal requirements for patentability. FUNCTIONAL IMPROVEMENTS
[011] The functional improvement of the present manual blind control device between insulated glass consists of providing a base and cover connected to each other by means of locking teeth, the base having a flat rear surface for direct contact with the surface of the insulated glass, as well as receiving a projecting gear and coupling pin for a split drive pulley equipped with a seating channel for the traction cord, while the cover of the device has arched sectors that accommodate and center the drive pulley. Advantages Obtained
[012] One of the advantages of the arrangement introduced in the manual blind control device between insulated glass is that it has a simplified construction that eliminates the need to install any other intermediate piece for installation on the insulated glass, reducing the number of pieces produced compared to others in use on the market.
[013] Another advantage of the manual control device refers to the fact that it provides a base and cover that easily fit together, with the base having a drive pulley receiving pin which, together with the arc sectors of the cover, promotes the stabilization of the drive pulley.
[014] Another advantage of the manual control device refers to the fact that it has a split drive pulley with a toothed recess that facilitates the traction of the plastic or metal ball chain or rope for moving the Petition 870250007436, dated 01 / 29 / 2025, page 11 / 37 / 9 system.
[015] Another advantage of the manual control device refers to the fact that it can alternatively operate in conjunction with a complementary device installed at the lower free end of the traction rope. DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[035] According to the present utility model, said manual control device (10) has a base (11) in a single piece that receives its respective cover (12) also in a single piece, said base (11) being formed by a substantially rectangular platform (11a) from which a perpendicular wall projects. Petition 870250007436, dated 29 / 01 / 2025, p. 13 / 37 / 9 (11b) in an ordinarily oblong shape or other related shape and whose inner lateral faces of said perpendicular wall (11b) project pairs of lateral appendages (11c1) / (11c2) that stabilize the pulley (16), as well as having an upper (11d1) and lower (11d2) cutout parallel to each other for anchoring the locking teeth (12c1) of the cover (12), the lower slot (11d2) being disposed between the symmetrical recesses (11d3) and for the passage of the traction rope (17). On the inner part of the platform (11a), contiguous to the upper inner face of the wall (11b), a cutout (11a1) is made (see figure 3) and also a circular step (11a2) from which a tubular projection (11a3) develops with diametrical reduction to accommodate bearing (RL), support plate (14) and gear shaft (15). Adjacent to the circular step (11a2) there is also a central pin (11a4) to accommodate the gear pulley (16).The rear face of the platform (11a) has a flat face (11a5) fitted with adhesive (AD) for adhesion to the glass (VD) and a recess (11a6) for accommodating the bearing, (RL), support plate (14) with a permanent magnet (13A) fitted.
