Description

CONSTRUCTIONAL ARRANGEMENT APPLIED IN AN INTERCHANGEABLE TRANSPORTABILITY KIT FOR AN ARTICULATED PLANTER TECHNICAL FIELD

[001] This document refers to the technological sector of agricultural implements, more specifically, a constructive arrangement applied in an interchangeable transport kit for articulated planters, enabling the farmer to increase the number of planting rows by incorporating the interchangeable kit into the farmer's existing rows, which advantageously does not require high investments in a new, larger, complete machine. STATE OF THE ART

[002] Modern planters play an essential role in agriculture, being designed to optimize planting and improve productivity. However, one of the main challenges related to this equipment is associated with its transportability, since planters are generally robust and large pieces of equipment, designed to cover extensive agricultural areas.

[003] This feature, while fundamental for efficiency in the field, can make it difficult to transport between different places of use, especially on public roads, where there are restrictions on width, height and weight.

[004] Some conventional solutions adopt folding systems for the bars or moving parts to reduce the overall width of the equipment in transport mode.

[005] However, another recurring problem in the state of the art is the fact that planters are designed to work exclusively with specific models or brands of agricultural machinery, such as tractors or Petition 870250008207, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 6 / 18 2 / 6 self-propelled vehicles. This characteristic results in a lack of versatility and creates several limitations for rural producers.

[006] The exclusivity of the planter to a specific machine restricts the ability to use the equipment on properties that have diversified fleets, with tractors from different manufacturers or models. This means that the farmer often needs to purchase planters compatible with each type of machine in the fleet, significantly increasing investment and maintenance costs.

[007] Furthermore, incompatibility between agricultural machinery and planters hinders the sharing or rental of equipment among producers, since many farmers opt for cooperative systems to optimize resources and reduce operating costs, but this practice is hampered when planters are dedicated to specific machines, limiting flexibility in the use and distribution of resources.

[008] Another consequence is the functional obsolescence of the equipment. When the farmer decides to modernize his fleet, replacing tractors or vehicles with more efficient models, the planters already acquired may become incompatible with the new vehicles. This leads to the need for new investments in equipment that could be avoided if the planters were designed to operate universally or adaptably.

[009] Thus, the problem of dedicated planters highlights the need for solutions that offer greater versatility, promoting compatibility between different models of agricultural machinery, facilitating the exchange of implements and reducing the costs and complexities associated with the acquisition and operation of this equipment.

[010] Thus, to overcome the challenges of the state of the art, it is an objective of the present innovation to provide a constructive arrangement applied in an interchangeable transportability kit for an articulated planter, in which Petition 870250008207, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 7 / 18 3 / 6 The kit includes a dedicated free spacing to receive the planting lines already existing on the property or already acquired by the farmer.

[011] Similarly, the kit includes additional planting lines arranged at the ends, whereby, if the width exceeds the maximum allowed by land transport legislation, some of the planting lines, arranged at the ends, are articulated horizontally to reduce the width, thus complying with current legislation.

[012] Schematic figures of a particular embodiment will be presented, whose dimensions and proportions are not necessarily the actual ones, as the figures are only intended to didactically present its various aspects, whose scope of protection is determined only by the scope of the attached claims. DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[014] Figure 2 illustrates a rear perspective view of an interchangeable transportability kit.

[015] Figure 3 illustrates a front perspective view of an interchangeable transportability kit and central planting lines, highlighting how they fit together.

[016] Figure 4 illustrates a front perspective view of the completed assembly of the interchangeable transportability kit and the central planting lines.

[017] The subject of this document will be better understood in light of the detailed description that follows in its form of Petition 870250008207, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 8 / 18 4 / 6 preferred, but not limited, embodiment, which is illustrated by the attached schematic drawings. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[018] According to the attached figures, this patent document refers to a constructive arrangement applied in an interchangeable transport kit for an articulated planter, which allows the farmer to increase the number of planting rows, since the farmer can incorporate the existing rows into the interchangeable transport kit, avoiding the need for the farmer to make high investments in a new, larger, complete machine.

[019] Thus, as illustrated by figure 1, the interchangeable kit is configured by a chassis (1) connected, perpendicularly, to a longitudinal boom (10) equipped with a hitch (11) located at the end opposite to the connection with said chassis (1). Said hitch (11) comprises a set of holes (110) that allows coupling with the agricultural machine (not shown).

[020] The set of holes (110) of the hitch (11) may comprise various configurations, since the coupling of the interchangeable kit may be carried out on various models and brands of agricultural machinery (not illustrated). The longitudinal boom (10) is preferably telescopic, however, it will be understood that said longitudinal boom (10) may be fixed, reducing the cost of the interchangeable kit.

[021] The chassis (1) comprises a crossbeam (12) supporting at least one support (13) at each end, so as to create a free span (14) in the central portion of said crossbeam (12) for fitting central planting lines. It will be understood that the number of supports (13) arranged at the ends of the crossbeam (12) may vary according to the farmer's needs. Similarly, it will be understood that the term "central planting lines" refers to the lines that Petition 870250008207, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 9 / 18 5 / 6 the farmer already has and can fit such lines into the free span (14), which can also be fixed or variable, since the crossbeam (12) can be telescopic, allowing the farmer to adjust the dimension of the free span (14) according to the quantity and size of the lines already existing on the property, or be fixed reducing the cost of the interchangeable kit.

[022] Also according to figure 1, the transverse beam (12) supports articulation means (15) arranged on each side of the longitudinal boom (10), so that the articulation means (15) are responsible for rotating each support (13) horizontally in the direction of the longitudinal boom (10). Thus, even if the farmer has increased its lateral extension, by means of the interchangeable transportability kit, the articulation means (15) make it possible to reduce this extension in such a way as to meet the standards for vehicles to travel on public roads, that is, to configure a transport position of the agricultural machine (not illustrated).

[023] As illustrated by figure 2, the crossbeam (12) comprises at least two support points (120) and a set of flanges (121), the support points (120) being preferably arranged close to and adjacent to each support (13), while the set of flanges (121) is distributed along the crossbeam (12). Furthermore, the set of flanges (121) has openings (122) that allow the insertion of fastening elements, such as bars, beams, screws, among others, that fasten and fix the central planting lines to the interchangeable transportability kit, more specifically in the free span (14).

[024] According to figure 1 in particular, each support (13) comprises side plates (130) arranged parallel to each other and separated, to configure an opening (131), by means of a walkway (132), a guardrail (133) and a set of bars (134) supporting agricultural input reservoirs (136) and furrow openers (137) and an auxiliary bar (135) coupling the planting lines (138) and arranged below the walkway (132). Petition 870250008207, dated 01 / 31 / 2025, page 10 / 18 6 / 6

[025] Thus, as illustrated by figures 3 and 4, in a preferred embodiment of the innovation, the interchangeable transportability kit allows the farmer to attach existing planting lines on the property, increasing the length and number of planting lines without large investments, when compared with agricultural machines of the same size. In this way, the central planting lines are attached to the transverse beam (12) of the chassis (1), where the central planting lines are initially supported at each support point (120) and positioned to the set of flanges (121) where they are aligned with the openings (122) through which fastening elements are inserted to attach the central planting lines to the interchangeable transportability kit, thus expanding the planting coverage area with the same agricultural machine (not illustrated) that the farmer already owned.

[026] It will be understood that the agricultural input reservoirs (136), furrow openers (137) and planting lines (138) may or may not be integral parts of the interchangeable transportability kit, since it will be the farmer who will define the configuration of said kit.

[027] A person skilled in the art will readily perceive, from the description and the drawings provided, various embodiments without departing from the scope of the appended claim.
