Description

"Constructive arrangement applied in a manual planter with automatic seed insertion." TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[001] This utility model patent application pertains to the agricultural sector, more specifically to equipment and tools for planting grains and seeds, notably featuring a device to assist in the planting operation. The planter is easy to handle; simply push its end into the soil, and its opening for seed release occurs automatically. HISTORY OF THE TECHNIQUE

[002] Manual seed planting is a common practice in agriculture, especially on small farms or in small-scale vegetable and ornamental plant cultivation. Manual seed planting requires time and patience, but it is a rewarding way to grow plants and harvest healthy, fresh food. Several steps can be followed to plant seeds manually more efficiently.

[003] Prepare the soil, making sure it is well prepared before you start planting. Remove weeds and other unwanted plants, loosen the soil with a hoe or rake and, if necessary, add organic fertilizer.

[004] Choose high-quality seeds and varieties that are well-suited to the climate and soil conditions of the planting region. Read the instructions on the seed packet to find out the recommended planting depth and spacing between seeds.

[005] Mark the rows where the seeds will be planted, using stakes, string or other materials. The distance between the rows will depend on the type of plant you want to grow. Petition 870250011374, dated 12 / 02 / 2025, page 6 / 21 / 5

[006] For planting, small holes should be made in the soil with a stick or finger, following the instructions on the seed packet for the correct depth, and one or two seeds should be placed in each hole and then covered with soil.

[007] Water the seeds immediately after planting and keep the soil moist throughout the germination period, taking care not to waterlog the soil, as this can rot the seeds. After germination, care for the plants by keeping the soil moist and free of weeds, fertilizing the plants regularly, and protecting them against pests and diseases. State of the Art Analysis

[008] Research conducted in specialized databases revealed documents relating to planters, such as document no. BR 10 2020 017080 5, which deals with "STRETCHED PLANTER FOR USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH A TOWING VEHICLE", providing embodiments of a stretched planter (20) with an optimized structural arrangement. In the embodiments, the stretched planter (20) includes a main frame (22), support wheels (30) rotating around a primary wheel geometric axis (34), and ground engagement tools (46, 48) coupled to the main frame (22) and configured to create furrows when engaged on the ground surface of a field (38). A series of hoppers in line (66) is mounted to an upper portion of the main frame (22) and transversely sectioned by a hopper distribution geometric axis. (64) which extends parallel to the primary wheel geometric axis (34).The series of in-line hoppers (66) includes a seed hopper (60) of the central raw material system (CCS), as well as the first and second fertilizer hoppers (62) positioned on opposite sides of the CCS seed hopper (60). The stretched planter (20) additionally includes fertilizer and row units (40, 102), which are configured to dispense seeds and fertilizers, respectively, into the furrows created by the ground hitch tools (46, 48) when the planter is stretched. Petition 870250011374, dated 12 / 02 / 2025, page 7 / 21 / 5 (20) is towed by the towing vehicle in a forward direction over the field (38).

[009] Document no. BR 10 2021 017195 2 which deals with “GRAIN PLANTER BY MEANS OF DISPENSING ROLLERS”, comprises a chassis (2) from which project articulated tubular arms (3), which at the distal ends support (M) dispensing rollers (7), each capable of serving two, three or more planting rows with only one selector device (9) supplied with grains through hoses (19) connected to a pneumatic means (18).

[010] Document No. BR 10 2019 006039 concerning “PRECISION PLANTER WITH CONICAL NOZZLES”, the following invention summary refers to the development of a precision planter with conical nozzles having a support bar (3) with a plurality of planting rows (4), said support bar (3) being able to be moved upwards (5) and downwards (6), in addition to the rotation of the main shaft for closing (7), by means of pistons (8 and 8a), where each of the multiple rows (4) has upward (9) and downward (10) rotational movement by means of piston (11) and lateral movement (12) in the bar itself (4), increasing or decreasing the distance between each of the rows, each of the rows (4) having a planting system based on planting nozzles (13) arranged in a chain (14) that act in synchrony with the forward movement of each of the rows. (4).

[011] There are several types of planters on the market, but they are equipment for large producers and are highly complex to handle and have high maintenance costs, increasing the cost of the entire cultivation operation and consequently the added value of the final product. Other cases also depend on other equipment or manual operations, such as opening or covering holes in the soil.

[012] Thus, it is a fact that the documents cited in the paragraphs above, despite belonging to the same field of application, do not present any of the characteristics of the object now improved, that is, a planter with automatic seed release, thus guaranteeing that it meets the legal requirements for patentability. Petition 870250011374, dated 12 / 02 / 2025, page 8 / 21 / 5 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[013] Taking into account all the problems that have been presented in the state of the art, the inventor, who has notorious knowledge of the sector, created and developed the aforementioned “CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT APPLIED IN A MANUAL SEED INSERTION MACHINE FOR AUTOMATIC SEED INSERTION”, which aims to develop and improve the work of the small producer.

[014] The objective of the present utility model is to present a device that can be used in the planting of rice, beans, corn, soybeans and other grains. Operationally, its end is pushed into the soil, and its opening for seed release is automatic.

[015] Its adjustment allows the release of the necessary amount of seeds for planting. This definition of the quantity of grains to be released will depend on the farmer's experience or on agricultural technical supervision, which will guide the spacing and quantity of seeds according to the characteristics of the plant and also the soil.

[016] The present invention model takes into account not only the mechanical and functional qualities, but also the shape, arrangement and strategic location of its parts and components which, when correctly positioned, have brought about an increase in efficiency without incurring any burden on users. DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[017] To complement the present description in order to obtain a better understanding of the characteristics of the present invention model and in accordance with a preferred practical embodiment thereof, a set of drawings is attached to the description, where, in an exemplary, though not limiting, manner, its operation is represented: Fig. 1 illustrates a perspective image of the planter; Fig. 2 shows a detailed view of the seed metering device and the nozzle. Petition 870250011374, dated 12 / 02 / 2025, page 9 / 21 / 5 insertion; and Fig. 3 shows an exploded view of the present planting device. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
