Description

1 / 2 “VASCULAR TRANSDUCER WITH RING”. FIELD OF APPLICATION

[001] This Utility Model Patent, pertaining to the field of medical and veterinary equipment, refers to an innovative constructive arrangement to be applied to a transducer equipped with a ring connected to a vascular Doppler. With this innovation, the doctor or veterinarian only needs to place the transducer ring on their finger to feel with greater sensitivity the exact location where the heartbeat signal to be amplified by the Doppler is clearest. In this way, even if the animal or patient moves in any way, the doctor or veterinarian handling the device will have much greater control over the situation, ensuring the transducer does not move from its correct position. GROUNDS FOR THE REQUEST

[002] Currently, cardiac Doppler examination, whether for human patients or for veterinary use, uses a portable vascular Doppler device connected by wire to a pellet-shaped transducer to be placed in the regions of the heart with the best sound signal, according to the professional's choice. After applying gel to the transducer sensor, it is placed in the chosen region and the sound signal is sent to the Doppler device, being reproduced in its speaker. However, during the examination, any movement by the patient can cause the transducer to move from its intended position, compromising the received signal. Therefore, with the ring attached to the transducer, the doctor or veterinarian will have total control of the situation, protecting the transducer from any unforeseen event. STATE OF THE ART

[003] To assess the state of the art regarding the present subject, several searches were carried out in available patent databases, but no reference was found to vascular Doppler equipment equipped with any device to improve and make the handling of the transducer safer and more stable. Therefore, it can be concluded that the present project Petition 870250076452, dated 08 / 28 / 2025, page 5 / 8 2 / 2 does not, to the best of our knowledge, have any conflicting prior art that could serve as an impediment to the granting of the Patent Letter.

[004] In order to surpass and differentiate itself from the state of the art, the present “VASCULAR TRANSDUCER WITH RING” was developed, which, in order to facilitate the reading of the text, will henceforth be referred to simply as “TRANSDUCER”. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[005] The drawings, which will be detailed later, will be described next. Figures 1 and 2 show the transducer with the ring, respectively, in top and bottom perspectives. Figure 3 shows the present "TRANSDUCER" being used with its ring. ORDER DESCRIPTION

[006] According to the drawings, the present “TRANSDUCER” is basically constituted of a vascular doppler(1) connected by wire(2) to a transducer(3) equipped with a ring(4) on the opposite face from where the sensor(5) is located.

[007] Thus, the use of the present “TRANSDUCER” is as follows. The user (doctor or veterinarian) places the ring(4) on his finger and takes the transducer(3) to the location that is necessary to perform the examination. With this, even with some movement of the patient (human or animal), the user can keep the transducer(3) in the determined location, without hindering the progress of the examination, in addition to making it easier, more precise and convenient to locate the exact point of the examination.

[008] In conclusion, it can be stated that the present “VASCULAR TRANSDUCER WITH RING”, due to its set of technological innovations, fully meets the conditions to apply for the granting of a Utility Model Patent. Petition 870250076452, dated 08 / 28 / 2025, p. 6 / 8
