Description
1 / 11 CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN A STRUCTURED INTERLOCKING BLOCK FOR CONSTRUCTION FIELD OF APPLICATION This descriptive report refers to a Utility Model Patent application for a structured interlocking block, which will be used in the field of civil construction, extremely practical and efficient, meeting the conditions to become worthy of the protection now sought. 002 The constructive arrangement introduced in an interlocking structured block for construction, through the technology employed, aims to develop a structured block used in the general civil construction area for wall closure, basically comprising a family of extruded blocks, which may present different configurations, but always within the same concept, being a structured block composed of a vertical rectangular body, with a lower cutout, and a geometric element in the shape of a cross with an internal circular element, at its base and top, presenting several advantages, among the main ones, it eliminates the use of mortar for laying and ensures that there is no moisture infiltration, as its interlocking forms a secure barrier; reduction in laying time; guarantees good thermal and acoustic insulation and reduction in material consumption, which strongly contributes to a more sustainable construction;Anyone with minimal training should be able to perform the wall construction, as the system prevents the blocks from being laid out of plumb or unevenly, among other issues; Petition 870250014619, dated 24 / 02 / 2025, page 9 / 25 2 / 11 therefore an evolutionary solution, standing out in the consumer market due to presenting a differentiated product in terms of its construction and use, which is quite safe, practical and functional. STATE OF THE ART 003 With the sole and exclusive purpose of providing veracity to the preamble of this description, the applicant will now provide, in the following paragraphs, a brief, yet consistent, explanation of the state of the art regarding the problems and inconveniences existing during the execution of a conventional wall construction, where it will be possible for a person skilled in the art to recognize its deficient aspects, in order to later clearly identify in the invention now claimed the requirement of novelty, mandatory under the Industrial Property Law. 004 The civil construction sector is a branch lacking in technology and has been undergoing a process of considerable change and improvement, especially in relation to the construction of small buildings. Today, we do not have a very diverse range of building materials available on the market; besides masonry and wood walls, there are not many alternative materials that facilitate and speed up construction, while also providing safety and a good finish. 005 It is common knowledge, especially among experts in the field, that there are elements for the civil construction of walls and building installations, such as solid brick, hollow brick or block, ceramic blocks, cement blocks, among others. Petition 870250014619, dated 24 / 02 / 2025, page 10 / 25 3 / 11 denominations. In addition to their weight and fragility in handling, all these elements require cement mortar for setting and joining the pieces, both vertically and horizontally, and need to be plumbed to ensure they are straight. The excessive weight they represent when placed on a construction site must also be considered. 006 Other problems that can be observed range from the logistics of these elements, which, due to their weight, require heavy vehicles for their transport, in addition to all the tiring work and difficulty in loading, unloading, and transporting the elements to the construction site. 007 Another frequently discussed problem in the construction industry is the lack of qualified labor. A lot of time is wasted training personnel, and it becomes difficult to retain these workers for long periods. Furthermore, as mentioned earlier, the work is very physically demanding and requires considerable effort to complete the construction. Laying ceramic blocks, concrete blocks, or even drywall requires specialized labor to ensure the walls are erected straight, plumb, and square. 008 The construction time is also significantly affected, and this is further hampered if we take the finishing phase into consideration. 009 In conventional masonry construction, we still have daily limitations for raising walls, as conventional blocks cannot all be laid in a single day. The mortar must dry before a new course of blocks can be laid, and so on, to prevent the wall from collapsing or coming loose. Petition 870250014619, dated 24 / 02 / 2025, page 11 / 25 4 / 11 plumb. 010 Currently, the state of the art reveals other differentiated elements in relation to the traditional types used in the civil construction market. There are construction blocks made by extrusion and injection, however, these are simple pieces that will necessarily require the addition of concrete and columns made of other materials for support. In this aspect, and in order to specify the state of the art, some patent documents dealing with construction elements and systems can be cited, but without reaching the inventive merit and the differentials revealed in this patent, as we can observe below. 011 There are several solutions in sealing blocks, which vary in shape, construction materials, and laying method. Of all the methods available on the market, none presents a family of blocks that share the same interlocking system, consolidating both the masonry closure part, rainwater drainage gutters, and ridge caps within the construction process, which ends up making it necessary to resort to other products such as metal gutters and ridge caps. 012 The State of the Art reveals Utility Model Patent MU8702720-8, published on 12 / 21 / 2010, entitled PLASTIC BRICK, which discloses a plastic brick to advantageously replace traditional masonry bricks. Unlike traditional masonry bricks, and therefore totally revolutionary in terms of finish, reduced labor costs, reduced transportation costs, and speed of assembly of structures, the present invention eliminates the need for labor. Petition 870250014619, dated 24 / 02 / 2025, page 12 / 25 5 / 11 specialized work. The patent object now proposed consists basically of a hollow case whose internal area can be filled with various types of materials freely chosen by the user. Also on the upper face there is a hole (8) intended for filling with other diverse materials. Also on the upper face, there is a central hole (5) to allow the passage of hydraulic, electrical, telephone and any other types of cables. On the right and left side walls of the plastic brick there are three inward grooves (4) and three outward protrusions (3), respectively, so that the pieces can be fitted into each other laterally. On the lower face (6) there are six female grooves (7) that will serve to fit with the protrusions (2) of the upper face. 013 The State of the Art reveals the invention patent PI0902262-7, published on 01 / 03 / 2011, entitled POLYMERIC BLOCK FOR CIVIL CONSTRUCTION, which discloses a block, constructed of polymeric material, and has application in civil construction. The present block is constructed entirely of polymeric material, so that its production process is more advantageous, through the injection molding process. This block is easy to handle due to its constructive form, as it has male & female interlocking systems, which provide better sealing and stability. Its construction material, combined with its design, makes the block an excellent thermal and acoustic insulator. Its manufacturing material gives it excellent resistance, and these blocks are also fully reusable and recyclable, in addition to eliminating the need for finishing, reducing the final cost of construction. Petition 870250014619, dated 24 / 02 / 2025, page 13 / 25 6 / 11 work. 014 As we can see, the objects of the patents listed in the prior art do not present any characteristics equal to or similar to the improvements proposed in this new application. 015 In view of the foregoing technical fundamentals, with the passage of time and the accumulation of experience, the facts pointed towards the construction of a novel interlocking structured block, presenting several advantages, being quite practical and efficient, where its unique constructability eliminates the negative aspects known in the State of the Art, which is presented in this patent. PATENT OBJECTIVE 016 In order to overcome the problems presented, the inventor hereby applies for a Utility Model Patent, entitled "CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN A STRUCTURED INTERLOCKING BLOCK FOR CONSTRUCTION", which fundamentally aims at the development of a structured interlocking block used in the area of civil construction in general for closing walls, standing out in the consumer market due to presenting a differentiated product in relation to its construction and installation, also obtaining a low-cost product with very high resistance and efficiency. 017 With many years of experience, and always seeking innovations and practical solutions to differentiate its products from competitors, the inventor developed this simple and efficient product, capable of overcoming all the limitations and drawbacks reported in the state of the art in a way that... Petition 870250014619, dated 24 / 02 / 2025, page 14 / 25 7 / 11 extremely effective. According to the present invention, it basically comprises a family of extruded blocks, which may have different configurations, but always within the same concept, being a structured block composed of a vertical rectangular body with a lower cutout and a geometric element in the shape of a cross, with an internal circular element, at its top and base. 019 The object of the invention are interlocking structured blocks with geometric shapes designed at their base and top, which eliminates the need for mortar and ensures that there is no moisture infiltration, as their interlocking parts form a barrier. 020 The blocks have a wide range of applications in civil construction, where, due to their thickness and geometric shapes, they guarantee good sealing in masonry walls, and can also be used as structural masonry, since their vertical holes allow for the concreting of vertical elements. 021 With the aim of reducing installation time, ensuring good thermal and acoustic insulation, and reducing material consumption, which strongly contributes to more sustainable construction. 022 The block family can be manufactured in horizontal molds, in concrete, cellular concrete, lightweight concrete using EPS, special concrete (silica-based micro-concrete), and / or materials from construction demolition waste. Petition 870250014619, dated 24 / 02 / 2025, page 15 / 25 8 / 11 023 It can also be manufactured by extruding PET or PETE (Polyethylene terephthalate); HDPE (High-density polyethylene), PVC (Polyvinyl chloride or vinyl chloride), LDPE (Low-density polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene), PS (Polystyrene). 024 One of the main objectives proposed is that, due to the simple interlocking system, anyone with little training should be able to carry out the wall construction, as the system prevents the blocks from being laid out of plumb or unevenly. 025 The fact that it eliminates the need for mortar is another great advantage, which greatly speeds up the process and generates considerable savings in the use of cement and sand. 026 In single-story houses with low load-bearing demands, the use of beams and columns may be dispensed with, generating savings in formwork, which drastically reduces the need for wood. 027 Several other advantages are also foreseen, such as: • The unique geometry of the joints ensures a perfect fit; • Once laid, the blocks do not cause surface deformities, which greatly saves on plastering; • Because the block's length is exactly twice its thickness, it facilitates finishing with half a block; • Geometric holes in the blocks allow for both vertical concreting of structural elements and the passage of Petition 870250014619, dated 24 / 02 / 2025, page 16 / 25 9 / 11 ducts and cables, thus facilitating electrical and hydraulic installations; • The precision of the joints allows for more than one laying front, which considerably reduces construction time. 028 It is important to understand that the present Utility Model Patent presented here is illustrated in a demonstrative and non-limiting manner regarding the application of the details, dimensions, capacities, and steps described. It is capable of other modalities and of being practiced or executed in a variety of ways, without departing, logically, from the main inventive scope of the object whose protection is claimed. 029 To complement the present description in order to obtain a better understanding of the characteristics of the present Utility Model Patent and in accordance with a preferred practical embodiment thereof, a set of drawings is attached to the description, where, in an exemplary manner, the following is represented: Figure 1 - Perspective view of the simple half-block; Figure 2 - Perspective view of the entire block; Figure 3 - Perspective view of the beam block; Figure 4 - Perspective view of the channel beam block; Figure 5 - Perspective view of the double channel beam block; Figure 6 - Perspective view of the block with stairs; Figure 7 - Side view of the channel beam block; Figure 8 - View of the double channel beam block; Figure 9 - Illustrative perspective view of the diagram.
