Description

1 / 4 “CONSTRUCTION ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO MODULAR FLOOR WITH NON-SLIP RELIEF”. FIELD OF APPLICATION

[001] This Utility Model patent, belonging to the area of Civil Construction, more precisely, to the field of modular flooring, refers to an innovative constructive arrangement to be applied to a square or rectangular modular floor, produced in plastic material and equipped with male fittings on two of the lateral edges and female fittings on the other two lateral edges, so that they can cover an originally installed floor, giving a new look and new technical characteristics aimed at use in a work environment, such as ease of cleaning, thermal comfort and anti-slip function, in addition to the speed of assembly on the original floor and the ease of replacing a broken module or one with some other problem. GROUNDS FOR THE REQUEST

[002] The main distinguishing feature of this application is a new high-relief design with squares formed, each one, by parallel lines arranged at a common angle. STATE OF THE ART

[003] To ascertain the state of the art with regard to the present subject, searches were carried out in some of the available patent databases.

[004] As a result, documents were selected that serve as a benchmark for the state of the art, which will be identified and briefly described below.

[005] Document BR1020220015023 - 27 / 01 / 2022 - E04F21 / 00, “MODULAR FLOOR COVERING SYSTEM” refers to a modular carpet system that includes a plurality of spaced carpet elements connected to each other through a plurality of Petition 870250091436, dated 07 / 10 / 2025, page 6 / 9 2 / 4 elongated fasteners. Each fastener connects two adjacent carpet elements to each other. Each fastener has a first elongated component that extends under a pair of adjacent carpet elements, a second component arranged on an upper surface of one of the pair of adjacent carpet elements, and a third component arranged on an upper surface of the other pair of carpet elements. The upper surfaces of the adjacent carpet elements are recessed respectively in defined locations to receive the second and third fastener components.

[006] Document BR1020210175567 - 03 / 09 / 2021 - E01C9 / 08, “TEMPORARY MODULAR FLOOR” refers to a quadrangular plate shape, composed of elements, whose ends are complemented by a metal structure and respective fixing points, while in the transverse direction said elements are also traversed by threaded tie rods with nuts and washers joining said elements; on the upper side of the plate there are distributed lifting points, each capable of being in two positions, horizontal embedded for rest or vertical for use.

[007] Document BR2020180754594 - 07 / 12 / 2018 - E04F15 / 02, “QUICK-ASSEMBLY MODULAR FLOOR”, refers to an improvement introduced in modular flooring for the replacement of temporary coverings, with innovative construction characteristics that facilitate the drainage of liquids, with reinforced support bases to guarantee its stability, developed with 100% recyclable material, specifically for irregular floors, featuring a non-slip, high-impact, easy-to-clean surface, with a male and female interlocking system where one piece fits into the other during assembly, forming a single piece measuring 1.30m wide by 5.00m long. During assembly, the pieces are placed side by side, unrolled, and interlocked. The interlocking system promotes greater articulation between the floors, allowing for the composition of more compact rolls, facilitating transport and mobility. storage,. Petition 870250091436, dated 07 / 10 / 2025, p. 7 / 9 3 / 4 with its application for events, VIP areas, dance floors, pool areas, etc., having the benefit of not having direct contact with wet ground and thus avoiding the smell of drinks and the like.

[008] Document BR2020160012517 - 20 / 01 / 2016 - E04F15 / 02, “MODULAR FLOOR WITH FIXING INTERLOCKS” refers to a modular floor containing a smooth or non-slip upper surface, where said surface is integral to a lower reticular structure, said reticular structure having projections on two of its sides. This same reticular structure has other projections that are recessed and supported on the flange that is formed from the upper surface.

[009] Of the documents selected, only BR2020160012517 describes a floor with a male-female interlocking system to facilitate assembly, and even then, it is quite different from the present application. Therefore, none of them mention the innovations proposed here, which will be described below.

[010] It so happens that the present request is an evolution of request no. BR2020240062740, its only distinguishing feature being the unique high-relief design, which is much more slip-resistant.

[011] In order to arrive at equipment with real differentiations and evolutions over the state of the art, the present “CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO MODULAR FLOOR WITH NON-SLIP RELIEF” was developed, which, in order to facilitate the reading of the text, will henceforth be referred to simply as “FLOOR”. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[012] The drawings, which will be detailed later, will be described below. Fig. 1 shows the present "FLOOR" in top perspective and detail 1. Fig. 2 shows the current "FLOOR" in a bottom perspective view. Petition 870250091436, dated 07 / 10 / 2025, p. 8 / 9 4 / 4 ORDER DESCRIPTION

[013] According to the drawings, the present “FLOOR” is basically made up of a module(1), of square or rectangular shape, having, on top, a surface with non-slip relief(2) composed of squares(3) regularly distributed in rows and columns, each square(3) being composed of parallel lines(4) arranged at a common angle, different for each square(3). On the bottom, it is provided with structural reinforcements that form squares(5) and that contain recesses at regularly distributed intersections(6), some of them with tubes(7). Laterally, on two adjacent sides (8), there are female semicircular fittings (9) and, in the center, an eyelet (10) for screw fixing and, on the other sides (11), there are male toothed trigger-shaped fittings (12) with two internal semicircular wraps (13) for fitting into the female fittings (9) of another floor, in addition to a lower recess (14) in the center to accommodate the eyelet (10).

[014] The operation of this “PISO” is very simple and intuitive and has already been described in the document of the previously cited application.

[015] The great innovation of the present “PISO” in relation to the application previously filed by the same author is the innovative arrangement of anti-slip features as described above, which gives it a much superior anti-slip characteristic to its predecessor and to many others known.

[016] In conclusion, it can be unequivocally stated that the present “CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO MODULAR FLOOR WITH NON-SLIP RELIEF”, due to its remarkable and relevant technical characteristics, has all the conditions to apply for the granting of a Utility Model Patent.
