Description
1 / 5 CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN A SADDLE DOOR
[001] This utility model patent relates to a new constructive arrangement introduced in a saddle rack, belonging to the technical area of animal accessories, more particularly it relates to a collapsible and easily transportable saddle rack, when it is necessary to transport them to be used in different locations, particularly transported to competitions or exhibitions, where transport is done in trailers that do not have much space to accommodate floor saddle racks, thus, the present innovation provides very advantageous practical, safe and functional results.
[002] A saddle rack is a support for storing the saddle when not in use, made of iron or wood, which can be fixed to the wall (see figures 17 and 18) or made on a pedestal, called a floor saddle rack (see figure 19).
[003] It can be seen from figures 17 and 18 that such objects are heavy, bulky and impractical to transport, needing to be unscrewed from the wall and screwed into the place where they will be used, in addition, when fixed to the wall, they can cause accidents, as they protrude.
[004] It can be seen from figure 19 that the floor saddle carrier is also heavy and bulky, making space optimization difficult in case of transport, and it can also cause accidents, since in the dark a person can easily trip.
[005] Thus, to definitively solve the problems of the state of the art, providing a functional improvement in use and manufacture, the present saddle carrier was developed, which with its new constructive arrangement, presents a lightweight, foldable and easily transportable object, which can even be carried in a bag, in addition to having a cheap manufacture and easy assembly, with only five parts that support the saddle, Petition 870250017006, dated 28 / 02 / 2025, page 6 / 29 2 / 5 solving the drawbacks of the state of the art, in addition to providing other advantages resulting from its design, with the addition of hooks that allow mounting on wooden gates or fences.
[006] The present utility model patent will be better understood through the attached drawings which schematically represent: Figure 1 - perspective view of the parts that make up the new constructive arrangement introduced in the saddle door; Figure 2 - Perspective view of the assembled saddle rack; Figure 3 - detail of the upper attachment of the saddle holder; Figure 4 - detail of the lower saddle holder attachment; Figure 5 - Perspective view of the saddle rack with the saddle attached; Figure 6 - perspective view of an early constructive variant of the saddle rack; Figure 7 - side view of the first constructive variant of the saddle rack; Figure 8 - Perspective detail of the first constructive variant of the saddle rack; Figure 9 - Perspective view of the first variant of the saddle rack with the saddle with pommel attached; Figure 10 - perspective view of a second constructive variant of the saddle rack; Figure 11 - perspective view of a third constructive variant of the saddle rack; Figure 12 - perspective view of a third constructive variant of the saddle rack, highlighting the lower face; Figure 13 - perspective view of the third variant of the saddle carrier with the saddle without a pommel attached; Petition 870250017006, dated 28 / 02 / 2025, page 7 / 29 3 / 5 Figure 14 - Partial perspective view of the saddle holder applied to the wall; Figure 15 - perspective view of the saddle holder applied to the wall; Figure 16 - perspective view of an application form with two saddle holders; Figure 17 - Perspective view of two wall-mounted saddle racks, of the state of the art, made of iron; Figure 18 - perspective view of a prior art metal wall-mounted saddle rack, made of wood; and Figure 19 - Perspective view of a floor-mounted saddle rack, from the prior art.
[007] According to figures 1 to 5, the new constructive arrangement introduced in saddle holders is made of malleable polymeric material or malleable metal sheet, fixed by screws (PA) and comprises a central body (1), formed by a rectangular strip (11) provided at the ends with holes (12) for fixing the other parts and also for fixing to the wall, where at the upper end is fixed together with the upper reinforcement (2), through the holes (21), the larger rectangular strip (3), provided at one end with fixing holes (31) and at the opposite end, with a hole (32) to be fitted into the saddle pommel (P) (S). At the lower end of the rectangular strip (11) is fixed together with the lower reinforcement (2'), through the holes (21'), the smaller rectangular strip (5), provided at one end with fixing holes (51) for fitting the lower face of the saddle (S).
[008] According to figures 6 to 9, in a first constructive variant, a wire hook (10) will be fixed at the upper end of the rear face of the central body (1), which allows the saddle holder to be used on wooden gates or fences. Petition 870250017006, dated 28 / 02 / 2025, p. 8 / 29 4 / 5
[009] According to figure 10, in a second constructive variant, at the upper end of the rear face of the central body (1) a bent sheet metal hook (10') will be fixed, in an inverted “U”, which allows the saddle holder to be used on wooden gates or fences.
[010] According to figures 11 to 13, in a third constructive variant, at the free end of the larger rectangular strip (3), this will be fitted with a bent sheet metal hook (33), in an inverted “U”, fixed by screws (PA) or rivets, which allows the use of the saddle holder, when the head (CA) of the saddle (S) does not have the pommel (P).
[011] According to figures 14 and 15, with the new constructive arrangement in saddle door, its assembly becomes very simple, where the central body (1) is fixed by screws (P) to the wall, together with the upper reinforcement (2) and with the larger rectangular strip (3). Similarly, the lower end of the central body (1) is fixed to the wall together with the lower reinforcement (2') and with the smaller rectangular strip (5).
[012] According to figure 5, once fixed to the wall its use is very simple, just attach the bottom of the saddle (S) to the smaller rectangular strip (5) and fit the hole (32) of the larger rectangular strip (3) into the pommel (P) of the saddle (S).
[013] According to figure 16, optionally the saddle holder may be fixed together with others, where the upper end of the body (1) of the saddle holder positioned above will be fixed to the lower end of the body (1) of the saddle holder positioned below.
[014] According to figures 9 and 13, in the case of using one of the constructive variants, it will be sufficient to first fix the hook (10 or 10') to a fence (C) or gate and attach the saddle (S) in the same way.
[015] The new constructive arrangement introduced in the saddle door, thus Petition 870250017006, dated 28 / 02 / 2025, p. 9 / 29 Designed as a 5 / 5 model, it offers the following advantages: - Improved functional manufacturing with only 5 parts; - Improved functionality during use, as it doesn't protrude and can be easily carried in a bag; - Greater security, because when the saddle is not stored, it is not exposed; - Greater versatility, as it can be used in conjunction with other saddle racks; - Easy to transport because it is not bulky and is made of lightweight material; It can be made from recycled material; and Low production cost.
[016] The scope of the present utility model, therefore, should not be limited to the construction details and its application, but rather only to the terms defined in the claims and their equivalents. Petition 870250017006, dated 28 / 02 / 2025, p. 10 / 29
