In scenarios such as outdoor work, sports activities, fairs, urban commutes, and recreational events, the need to keep hands free or to hold the umbrella / parasol for extended periods can lead to discomfort, fatigue, and restricted movement.

[003] Several solutions have been proposed in the state of the art to mitigate these limitations, including umbrella support systems attached to backpacks, vests or helmets. However, such arrangements often have limitations regarding stability, adaptability to different body types, ease of assembly / disassembly and interchangeability of protective accessories.

[004] Document US20130247435A1 describes a safety signaling system consisting of traffic or information signs, an extendable mast, a removable umbrella assembly, and a safety trim assembly. Although the system allows for the removable attachment of an umbrella to the mast, it is primarily intended for public road signaling and does not include body support. The focus is on integration with vehicles, with no application for individual body use, nor a description of ergonomic adjustment systems, length modulation, or ease of transport of the assembly.

[007] Other known devices include backpacks with umbrella holders, vests with fixed attachments, and supports that attach to chairs or strollers. However, such solutions are often limited in terms of interchangeability of the protective accessory (umbrella / parasol), have difficulty adjusting to different body sizes, and frequently do not allow for quick disassembly for transport or storage.

[008] Furthermore, the prior art does not show a combination of a retractable support tube, coupled to a base that can be fixed to the user's hip by means of an adjustable belt, with manual pressure-type opening / closing locks (similar to those of backpacks), a vest equipped with adjustable elastic fastening straps for the back and a removable screw-on fitting system that allows for quick and safe exchange of different models of parasols or umbrellas.

[009] Thus, a technological gap exists for a personal protective equipment product that combines: (i) adjustable and ergonomic body support; (ii) a modular system for easy assembly, disassembly and transport; (iii) a removable and interchangeable screw-on fitting mechanism for different umbrella models or Petition 870250084425, dated 09 / 19 / 2025, page 6 / 21 / 7 umbrella; (iv) adaptation to different body types and aesthetic preferences; and (v) surfaces suitable for visual customization, advertising or identification.

[010] The present model was designed precisely to overcome the limitations of known devices, offering an innovative, practical and versatile solution for individual protection against rain and sun, without compromising the user's freedom of movement and facilitating prolonged use in multiple contexts. [011] This model proposes a product for protection against rain and sun, comprising a modular body support set configured for attachment to the user by means of an adjustable hip belt, a retractable support tube attached to the base, a vest with adjustable elastic back straps, and a removable screw-on attachment system for a parasol or umbrella. The product allows for anatomical adjustment, interchangeability of protective accessories, ease of disassembly for transport and storage, as well as visual customization of its surfaces. The locking mechanism of the support tube operates by manual pressure, similar to that used in backpacks, providing practicality and safety to the user. The system is compatible with different models, sizes, colors, and patterns of parasols or umbrellas, promoting versatility of use.The construction materials were selected to ensure lightness, strength, and comfort, allowing for prolonged use in indoor or outdoor environments. OBJECTIVES

[012] The main objective of this utility model is to provide a personal protective product against rain and sun that allows the user to keep their hands free, ensuring comfort, stability and mobility during prolonged use in different environments. It seeks to offer a modular solution, easy to assemble and disassemble, that can be adapted to different body types through ergonomic adjustments to the belt, vest and fastening elastics.

[013] Another objective is to enable the interchangeability of the protective accessory, allowing the user to select and attach different models, sizes, colors or prints of parasols or umbrellas by means of a snap-fit ​​system. [014] Additionally, the invention aims to facilitate the transport and storage of the product, allowing the separation of the main components - base, support tube, vest and parasol / umbrella - and the compaction of the retractable tube, reducing the volume occupied when not in use.

[015] Finally, the aim is to provide surfaces suitable for visual customization, whether for advertising, institutional identification or individual expression, expanding the possibilities of applying the product in professional, promotional, recreational or everyday environments. [022] The rain and sun protection product of the present invention comprises, as illustrated in Figure 1, a base (1) configured to be positioned next to the user's hip, equipped with an adjustable belt (2) that encircles the waist and allows for firm and comfortable fastening by means of a quick-release fastener.
