[001] This utility model refers to a dental case, applied in the field of portable oral hygiene utensils, more specifically in the area of ​​a multifunctional case designed to store, protect and transport in an integrated and hygienic way a complete oral hygiene kit, consisting of a toothbrush, toothpaste and, notably, a roll of dental floss, with the purpose of safely and organizedly storing essential items for oral hygiene, with the advantages of actively protecting the stored items against contamination by germs and bacteria through bactericidal nanotechnology incorporated into its structure and functioning as a durable visual communication platform, allowing the application of logos and personalized artwork, keeping the partner's brand in evidence in the user's daily life. [002] Toothpaste and toothbrush cases have undergone several evolutions over time, keeping pace with changes in materials, design, and hygiene needs. Initially, they were made of metal or wood, with rigid and impractical shapes, intended only for protecting the object during travel. With the advancement of plastic in the 20th century, lighter, more durable, and easier-to-clean cases emerged, also allowing for transparency and a variety of colors. Subsequently, the focus also shifted to hygiene and ventilation, resulting in models with holes or openings that prevent moisture and the proliferation of bacteria. [003] Searching the Brazilian and international patent databases revealed the following findings.

[004] The object of patent MU9100965-0, by the same author, discloses a case for oral hygiene equipped with a lid with ventilation holes, with a loose internal cradle with internal spaces and fitting into said base, accommodating a manual toothbrush of all models, a toothpaste container of up to 90g and a refill roll of dental floss or tape of up to 50m. The dental floss lid is manufactured separately from the case. The major disadvantage of this model is that it has separate parts that need to be manufactured separately, and the dental floss lid is made of a single material, making logistics difficult.

[005] The object of patent KR20090009474 discloses a portable case that stores personal hygiene items, such as toothbrush, toothpaste and soap, all in one place. This facilitates transport during travel or business trips, as you do not need to carry several separate containers. The novelty lies in the way the items are organized, allowing practical and efficient access to all hygiene products in a single case. Despite storing the items, it has a shape that does not favor transport, as it is not compact.

[006] The object of patent MU8602373 discloses a prismatic rectangular case formed by bodies fixed to each other by a kind of hinge, with protrusions on the inner portion of each body and intended for fixing toothpaste, toothbrush, dental floss, toothpaste tube refill element and tongue scraper, which make up the practical kit for oral hygiene. This case has protrusions that lock the elements internally, generating points of dirt accumulation, in addition to the fact that it generates plastic residue when the dental floss is used. [007] The prior art presented the following technical problems and shortcomings, which were resolved by the present utility model, as shown below: a. Conventional cases are passive containers that do not offer protection against the proliferation of germs and bacteria, and can become sources of cross-contamination. This is solved with a new case developed with nanotechnology material based on silver and zinc ions, which provides a bactericidal property with up to 99.5% effectiveness, actively protecting hygiene items; b. The need to carry a separate package of dental floss is inconvenient, often resulting in forgetting or not using this item, which is a significant part of complete oral hygiene. Its reduced size and modern design make it extremely practical for daily transport in bags, backpacks, or even pockets, and it complies with carry-on baggage restrictions on air travel; c. There is no solution on the market that combines, in such a compact and functional way, an integrated system for dental floss; requiring the injection of disassembled parts, complicating the process and demanding assembly. This was solved with the development of a section of the dental floss with the lid integrated into the case, eliminating the need for an additional piece.

[008] The development started from the premise that, although the concept of a portable hygiene kit already existed, there was a latent demand for an even more portable product. The research focused on how to miniaturize the solution without sacrificing functionality.

[009] Early attempts involved layouts that were either too large or did not accommodate the dental floss in a practical way. Tests with different floss dispensing mechanisms resulted in poor outcomes, such as jamming or difficulty of use.

[010] The best result was achieved through a design that optimizes every cubic millimeter, with a compartment for dental floss molded into the case's structure itself, ensuring simplicity and reliability. Defining the ideal capacity for floss and toothpaste for average weekly use was a crucial step, balancing autonomy and compactness.

[011] The development also takes into account the recommendation of the Brazilian Dental Association, which indicates that 15 cm would be the minimum size that promotes efficient oral cleaning and hygiene. Due to this, a detachable toothbrush that meets the recommendation was used.

[012] The constructiveness of the utility model is based on a single piece, injection-molded in polypropylene (PP), which forms the body and lid of the case, joined by a film-type hinge. The internal geometry is designed with specific cavities: one for fitting a foldable toothbrush, another for a small-sized toothpaste tube, and the main cavity of the innovation, a circular compartment to house a roll of dental floss. This compartment has a small opening through which the floss is dispensed.
