Method and system for calibrating laser level

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for calibrating a laser level. The method comprises arranging the laser level and a detector on a same horizontal plane; setting the laser level to a dot-sweep or a fan-sweep mode; detecting a first laser beam for calibration emitted by the laser level, generating first position information by the detector; rotating to a first rotation angle in a rotation direction, rotating a laser projection direction of the laser rotation unit of the laser level relative to the housing of the laser level by the first rotation angle in an opposite direction of the rotation direction of the housing to cause the detector to detect a laser beam for calibration emitted by the laser level to generate second position information; and based on the first position information and the second position information, determining whether the laser level needs to be calibrated.
