Abstract

The invention relates to a hydrofoil transport system comprising at least one hydrofoil including a hull extending along a longitudinal direction X, a deck, propulsion means, said hydrofoil also comprising at its bow a first underwater mast (9) located in the longitudinal direction X and at its stern a second underwater mast (12) located in the longitudinal direction X, the first underwater mast (9) comprising at one end intended to be submerged a first hydrofoil (8), the second underwater mast (12) comprising at one end intended to be submerged a second hydrofoil (10), each hydrofoil (8, 10) being connected to said underwater mast (9, 12) at a central zone, each hydrofoil (8, 10) being intended to assume at least two positions, a first position in which the hydrofoil (8, 10) has an orientation orthogonal to the longitudinal direction X,and a second position in which the hydrofoil has a different orientation from the orthogonal orientation, and in which said bridge includes a receiving area (5), for example for at least one transport container (C).
