Procedure for operating a safety device for agricultural and construction machinery

Abstract

A safety device (11) detects dynamic operating conditions by analyzing vibrations and triggers an alarm in the event of an undesired condition. For use with mobile or self-propelled agricultural and construction machinery, the detection of dynamic operating conditions is achieved by analyzing the frequency spectrum of the vibrations, and an alarm is triggered depending on whether the safety device (11), and thus the agricultural or construction machine to which it is attached, is moving. The safety device (11) can be parameterized for functionality and does not require any additional sensors. It can form a self-contained unit.
