Sludge treatment system using a flocculant

Abstract

The present invention relates to a sludge treatment system employing a flocculant, comprising a circuit (C2) for circulating the sludge to be treated and means (25) for injecting a flocculant in liquid form into said circuit (C2). Said circuit (C2) includes at least one first static mixer (28) designed to generate turbulence in the flow of a sludge stream and an agglomeration device downstream of the first static mixer (28) in the direction of the sludge flow. The flocculant injection means (25) are configured to inject the flocculant into the circuit (C2) in the first static mixer (28). The invention also relates to a sludge treatment plant comprising said sludge treatment system, as well as a sanitation vehicle comprising such a plant.
