Abstract

The invention relates to an inlet nozzle (1) for a water basin, comprising a base component (4). This base component is provided with at least one projection (10) that allows it to be attached to the rear side (6) of an opening (2) in a basin wall (3) of the water basin. The base component (4) has a recess facing the interior of the basin, in or on which a cover (7) with a passage and a nozzle eye (8) are arranged. A further invention relates to a water basin with such an inlet nozzle. A basin wall (3) and the base component (4) of the inlet nozzle (1) are made of plastic, for example, polypropylene, and are bonded or welded together. This prevents leaks at the difficult-to-access rear side (6) of the basin wall (3) in the long term. Furthermore, the water basin can be designed more attractively.
