Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle interior fitting (10, 12) comprising a support structure (14) with an anchor element and a boom (18), wherein the anchor element and the boom (18) form a common hinge element (20) at their mutually facing ends; and a functional element that is fixed on a top side of the boom (18); wherein the anchor element can be attached to a side wall of the vehicle; wherein the hinge element (20) forms an axis of rotation so that the boom (18) can be pivoted relative to the anchor element by at least 90°; wherein the hinge element (20) comprises a fixed detent disc having at least two detent points in predefined angular positions of the hinge element (20); and wherein a detent means is further provided which is configured to engage positively with the detent points and to lock the hinge element (20) in defined angular positions.Furthermore, the invention also relates to a room furnishing assembly (100) comprising a first room furnishing (10) and a second room furnishing (12) as well as a method for transforming such a room furnishing (10, 12).
