Abstract

A device (1) for adjusting the height of a flush-mounted glass-ceramic cooktop when installing it in a worktop is described, wherein the device (1) has a folded sheet (3) with a V-shaped cross-section having an upper leg (4), a lower leg (5), a closed end (6) and an open end (7), wherein the lower leg (5) has an adhesive (11) on its underside for attaching it to a worktop, and wherein the upper and lower legs (4, 5) are connected to each other at the closed end (6).The upper leg (4) has at least one through bore with an internal thread and a screw (9) for screwing into the internal thread, wherein the at least one through bore and the screw (9) are arranged between the central transverse axis of the folded sheet (3) and the open end (7), such that the open end (7) of the folded sheet (3) and thus a glass ceramic hob that can be positioned on the upper leg (4) is height-adjustable with the screw (9).
