Mechanical locking element for cylinders with external thread

Abstract

The present invention relates to a mechanical locking element (1) that increases the resistance to tensile and compressive forces in cylinders with external threads. The locking element (1) comprises a main body with at least one internal threaded section (A) and at least one locking element (B). When the locking element (1), which is connected to a rotor (5), is rotated, the internal threaded sections (A) engage forcefully in the external thread of a cylinder housing (2), while the locking elements (B) engage in locking points in the housing of a container (3). This double locking mechanism ensures a secure and stable connection.
