Abstract

The present invention relates to a dial (1) for a timepiece comprising a dial plate (2) and at least one transparent or translucent decorative element, in which a cavity (9) is formed, said cavity (9) being delimited by an opening (10) and being at least partially filled with a luminescent material (11) such that the transparent or translucent decorative element, said luminescent element (5), is capable of emitting light, said luminescent element (5) being fixedly placed on an upper surface (3) or on a lower surface (4) of the dial plate (2) on the side of the opening (10), said dial plate (2) covering the opening (10). The invention also relates to a timepiece comprising a dial according to the invention.
