Probe mechanism

Abstract

A probe mechanism (10) is provided, comprising a base element (11) and a shaft (12). One end of a tension spring (13) is connected to the base element (11). The other end of the tension spring (13) is connected to the shaft (12). The shaft (12) is configured to move relative to the base element (11) in the direction of a central axis of the shaft (12) when the shaft (12) comes into contact with a target object. The base element (11) has a guide (16) that supports the shaft (12) so that it is movable in the direction of the central axis of the shaft (12). The other end of the tension spring (13) is connected to one side of the guide (16) in a direction in which the shaft (12) moves relative to the base element (11) when the shaft (12) comes into contact with the target object.The tension spring (13) is arranged such that a central axis of the tension spring (13) extends orthogonally to the central axis of the shaft (12) before the shaft (12) comes into contact with the target object, and such that an angle formed by the central axis of the tension spring (13) and the central axis of the shaft (12) becomes smaller as the base element (11) approaches the target object after the shaft (12) has come into contact with the target object.
