Abstract

The apparatus (1) comprises an upper camera (10) and a plurality of lateral cameras (20) arranged around the vertical optical axis (Z) of the upper camera (10), a system for illuminating the object from above (100) comprising a plurality of light projectors (30a, 30b, 30c, ) of different colour or wavelength, an electronic controller adapted to control the emission of light beams (32a, 32c,) of different colour or wavelength simultaneously by the light projectors (30a, 30b, 30c), each camera (10, 20) having means for spatially separating the light beams of different colour or wavelength (32'a, 32'b, 32'c, 32'd) reflected by the object (100) and a plurality of optical sensors (110a, 110b, 110c, 110c) of simultaneous acquisition of light beams of different color or wavelength (32'a, 32'b, 32'c, 32'd) reflected and separated by the separation means.
